I'm having this played at my wedding.
You better post it
😂
It's almost worth getting divorced just so I can play this at my second wedding. Somebody slap some sense into me.
Imma have it my funeral. "Everybody dance, no crying!"
Skip the wedding. Just have a party.
There are millions of contributors to the UA-cam-Universe.
But no one, absolutely no one, can do what Bill does...
Please listen to the album named Zonkey by Umphree’s McGee. It is the only thing close to Bill. Some songs are 4 mixed together. Like: Exodus by Bob Marley, Life during Wartime by the talking heads, 25 or 6 to 4 by Chicago and finally City of Tiny Lights by Frank Zappa w/ Adrian Belew on vocals
@@brianvernon249 interesting.
Also check out DJ Cummerbund. He and Bill have been my favorites for a long time.
@@lrn15782 Sorry, but DJ Cummerbund is like a toddler compared to Bill.
I'm so glad, that I've found this gem of a channel called Bill McClintock.
Phil Anselmo is my favourite R&B soul singer ever
Don't forget, the Funk aspect of the song. Noone can deny dem bass lines!
It's another reminder: Don't mess with Phil.
R&B/Metal
Don't mess with Phil! 😂
Pantera fans now must acknowledge the existence of Teena Marie, and vice versa!
I had no idea who Teena Marie was, before seeing this video... and I STILL have no idea who she was...lol
I'm one of those weirdos who already loved both! Ha ha
@@ShonnDayleelovergirl 1984
@@1incuthetame too haha!
She was hot but didn't care for her music and style of music. I'm square, baby I don't care.
I lost all of my shit when I saw Phil slapping crowd's hands at the beat. Fucking genius.
oh my god I also noticed that absolutely *perfect* touch
Also noticed. Exquisite craftsmanship.
Not lost on me either LOL!!!
Same!

I was raised by musicians. This brings me more joy than you can imagine.
Wow. You earn our sincere respect, sir!
I was lucky. There was no barriers or music restrictions growing up. So i had access to a vast library of music before the internet. It confused me when ppl only listened to 1 kind of music and were disrespectful to a different genre. Gangsa rap, heavy metal, stevie wonder, jazz, i lostened to it all and my family that loved it went into great depth about what made it great @madkhaliqfarhan
I was raised by musicians too, my brother is a musician as well. It's wonderful that such different musical genres, but of such a high level, are compared and mixed. This is what music does: it unites. Bill is doing a huge job of promoting musical culture with his videos and I find it really fantastic! He has a huge musical culture and great talent✨
We don't need AI as a substitute for our creativity. We need more creative people like Bill!
3:01 - Love the moment where Phil is slapping hands in sync to the "square, square" line.
It's so good
Special guest appearance by Adrian Smith & Dave Murray of Iron Maiden.
They are just the better soul-lead-guitarists, you must admit.
ua-cam.com/video/mi8D0Bsq6SA/v-deo.htmlsi=6E7htD_c6X3lLC--&t=164 and B. vox
The on-beat High Fives are the icing on the cake. 😂😂
Agreed ❤
I was just going to say the same thing😂
Not to mention the moshing and diving - so carefree and effervescent
TOTALLY AGREE is the sneakpeak
3:01
Love how UA-cam suggestions categorizes this as "pop rock." 😂
52 years on this Earth, and I never thought I'd witness Pantera speaking "Square Biz!" What a time to be alive!
If the biz is square than the earth is flat. We're talking square biz on flat earth :P
We're takin' over this disco!
Make that Disco Inferno takeover, and you have a deal, good sir. 🤣
We're taking over this DANCE FLOOR!
I've commented it before, but my favorite part of a McClintock masterpiece is seeing who will be in the mashup that was not hinted at in the title.
YESSSSSSSSSSSSS
I keep hoping Spinal Tap will pop up just to be contrary.
@@BillPeschel now I want a Spinal Tap/Monkees mashup
I believe that it was Dave Murray and Adrian Smith from Iron Maiden.
Dimebag Darrell and EVH guest solos are sick ! 😄💯🔥
Aw, so glad to see Teena Maria getting attention. Died too young and so underrated.
Bill doesn't worry about quantity only quality.
let's tie this all together. Cowboys From Hell was the first album where someone was nice enough to put my name in the liner notes.
And... I worked for Teena.
That's fantastic, sincerely.
Man, I can’t call this a mashup. It’s beyond that. It’s an adroit musical masterwork, and Bill McClintock got it done!
I survived a pulmonary embolism last November so when I wake up in the morning I consider it a good day, when I wake up and see a new gem from Bill McClintock in my notifications I call it a great day! When that gem has the amazing Lady T in it (Pantera is pretty cool too) I call it an Awesome day!!!! Thank you!
I get a kick every time it switches from the Metal crowd to the Disco crowd.
Yep, and and anselmo throwing himself to the crowd is the cherry on the top xD Like, who would resist to do it when this song is played? xD
Teena Marie's one wish for years was to have a mosh pit at her shows. Props to Bill for making that come true!
2:34 Dave Murray can solo over anything and instantly improve it.
It's all the same crowd: moshing in the front, mellow grooving in the back
Another triumph & the American Bandstand clips are genius 🤣
More groups need to collaborate like this. I could see a full mashed-up festival.
I nominate Maynard's "Diary of a Lovesong".
the funk is strong with Phil
Finally I can headbang and shake my hips at the same time!
Disco Metal, the new genre of submetal that is sweeping the world.
#StevieT
How and why does this sound so damn perfect? No lie, the bass line is killin'.
It's been 5 years since the Bill Withers Pantera masterpiece which was how I discovered the Magician Mr. McClintock. And he has never disappointed, but this one is next level. A New Level so to speak. All Hail Bill.
When was "Don't Mess with Phil" released?
@@vadimastprojects8770 4 years ago, I reckon Bill is a fan of Phil and Co.
I like how the solo doesn't feel out of place at all.
When this popped up my mind simultaneously thought "click NOW!!!" and "I honestly have no idea how this will play out"....then I remembered - It's Bill McClintock. Sit back and enjoy.
I love how the crowd's having such a blast! Reminds of Bill's comments section.
I'm just going to thank Bill for getting Teena Marie's "Square Biz" back into the public's ears.
She was so ahead of the game. To me, that song sounds like late 1980's / early 1990's R&B. The arrangement, the sound of the horns, it's just on the edge of new jack swing.
But it's 1981.
So goddamn ahead. She was an amazing vocalist, musician and writer. It boggles my mind that Madonna could get so popular with not near a 1/3rd of the talent, when Teena Marie was around. They picked the wrong horse (not to compare women to horses. don't judge me.)
100% agree!!!!! Lady T was amazing. I’m a huge Teena and Pantera fan, so this video was perfect for me!
Really? Sounds like a typical disco to me. But I could be wrong.
And Madonna is just sexier, that's all. Well, she was, 40 years ago.
@@vadimastprojects8770 Really. ;)
@@DrTomoculus yeh to me it sounds more early 80's funk/disco
The video is so clearly 1981 that it's hard to hear it any other way.
I love how, just to prove his brilliance, Bill adds a third (Iron Maiden in this case) to the mix!
Saw Pantera live back in 91 in London. It would have been a very different gig if they’d done this version 🤣🤣🤣🔥🔥🔥🔥
Amazing! Remember who played with them? I bet they were incredible then. I saw them in 94 on the Far Beyond Driven tour in Wolverhampton supported by Downset. It was fantastic!
@@RitchieRosson I also saw them summer '94. Sepultura opened up. All the seating was ripped out of the venue by the end.
@@RitchieRosson I really can’t remember who was supporting. It was at the legendary Marquee Club. They came on stage and Phil just said “there’s only one rule - this stage is yours so fuckin’ use it!” Then the moment Dimebag’s plectrum hit his E string the pit in front of the stage turned into a blur of bodies. Phil was pouring beer into people’s mouths in between pulling people up on stage to dive off. I was up there more times than I can count, one of them I gave Dimebag a tentative pat on the shoulder! If you check the link below at around the 38 second mark you’ll see a blond lad in a pale blue denim jacket get in shot then jump off the stage. That was a 17 year old me 🤘

well some people were saying that something strange was going to happen....and it did!!
You got me already at the beginning, when she says "everybody get up!" and the guy jumps in the crowd 😂
Wow, I never imagined Cowboys From Hell could be a party anthem! Well done PanTeena!
I wish Teena was alive to hear this! Somehow I believe this is exactly what Rick James was looking for! " Born to Funk and Roll in the big time"
Very nice ! I see your 'PANTEENA'' and raise you a 'QUEEN-TERA' 🤟😮🔥 👏
Oh Hell Yeah !!!
Lady Tera
Bill’s work is philosophically profound. It’s as if he has opened a wormhole and given us all a glimpse into some kind of glorious, utopian future.
One concert ticket is $400-500 apiece. Bill, you're saving the world... one online free concert at a time. Thanks 😊
what ? which concerts do you go to ?
man that new Pantera line up realy caught the groove!
I’d love to be a fly on the wall in his office and just watch McClintock work his magic.
Just when I think these videos have peaked and couldn't get any tighter, a new one comes along like this...
Totally agree
The mashing artistry is untouchable. I'd really like to see/hear Phil Anselmo comment on this. I hope he sees it like I'm told Robert Plant appreciates Dread Zeppelin =)
This is the SH**! I get the feelings that music USED to give me back in the day, but also the new twist with the genre mix. This is freaking revitalizing! Modern music is all but dead to me, but McClintok's stuff always gives me something to look forward to
So true
Brilliant special guests Dave and Adrian
Babe wake up, Bill McClintock uploaded
Nothing like groovin’ to Pantera.
I love that I know Tina Marie and Pantera, but NOT what songs were mashed. Puts me in my place as a self-proclaimed music lover. Thanks, Bill!
Man I wish Dime and Vinny were alive to hear this! This is just too damn great!!
You fucking Legend Bill!!!
I’m pretty sure I just came, shit, pissed, threw up, laughed, and cried at the same time. Bill the mashup shaman.
This is so good. It’s unbelievable how well suited Anselmo’s delivery is to this context.
SO DAMN GOOD HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Not familiar with either artist's catalogues, but Bill always finds a way to make the rockers groove (lyrically) to whatever the R&B beat is. This is one of his more fun mashups!
My younger brother would have got down to this Bill. He loved Pantera and loved to dance. Miss you and love you always Adriel.
There are things in me that are at odds with this mashup but I’m digging it.
"You treat your stepmother with respect Pantera"
- Butthead
This beer is warm, Pantera!
The vocals and horns play off of each other so well! Bravo, B. McC, another masterpiece.
That thumbnail though 😂
Mixing soul and funk with metal and rock. This needs its own genre
Hahahahahahahaha 🤣😂🤣😂
The timing mix was perfect!
Thank you again , Bill 👍
I discovered you at approximately 11:00 a.m. this morning. Its 9:14 p.m. and I've now listened to every single song that you have put together.... my productivity today was ZERO... but thanks!
The Rick James / RATM mashup is top tier
Love the Maiden cameo 🤟
Aggressively clapping 👏
00:29 Even Fez showed up for this mash-up.
This. Is. Amazeballs. Just when I think I've heard the peak of mashups Mr. McClintock finds another level.
Each time is like the first time watching one of Bill's videos. Impressed, surprised, and thoroughly entertained.
I love when you melt a funky disco music and a big hardcore singer.
The Undisputed King of the R&B/Rock mashups
This has no reason to work so well, but it does and it scares me.
Bill, you are a MAD GENIUS!!
4 minutes of pure brain madness
I wish you would do something by RUSH, my favorite band Bill. Thank you for sharing your incredible talent that always brings a smile to all of our faces!
The thing is, for mashups, songs have to have fairly generic features, such as 4/4 time and predictable structures (e.g. intro, verse, chorus, verse, chorus, solo, chorus, chorus). progressive bands like rush are known for unusual time signatures and progressions; good luck finding a match for "free will" or "subdivisions," you know?
@@peterg5383 I was thinking more like vital signs as a Mashup. I do see your point thanks for the info!
@@peterg5383i wish i could be so concise, trying to explain my lack of mash ideas :-P
@@peterg5383 ..parts of Roll the Bones might work

Rush and Tool??!!?? 🤔🤔🤔
Fantastic to watch another product of musical expertise from the reigning King of Mashups. Many thanks.
The guitar interlude at 1 min is fucking chefs kiss.
I love both artists, but never imagined how well they would go together. Thanks, Bill!
This is fucking awesome. Teena Marie's album 'Emerald City' was the sole and unexpected R&B entry in Chuck Eddy's book 'Stairway to Hell: The 500 Best Heavy Metal Albums in the Universe,' coming in at #9. Your mash-up here makes the case that it wasn't much of a stretch after all.
Rumor has it that this song is going to be the closing encore for the remainder of the current Pantera tour….YEAH BUDDY !!!!!😆🤘🎸🎶
They should play it on the big screen to warm the crowd up along with the mouth for war mash up!
funny you say that... Teena ended 90% of her shows with Square Biz
Mashup from HELL ! 😎 Beyond my imagination as always.
Head and shoulders above the rest. This man is a fuckin genius.
Dropping this at the next family get together an watch faces confused yet they can’t stop busting a move👍✌️
Belly laughs... hard to get them these days but every time I watch one of your mashups I can't stop f*cking laughing. Thanks!
Can't help but move to this badassery. Right on, Bill!
This is almost too much for me 😂. Disco Metal is life!
Very rarely do I hear Bill pitch shift a song to meet his needs, but this has been done very tastefully! Excellent job sir.
It never gets old! Bill has made a million of these, and they just get better and better!
If you can use "deliciously ridiculous" to describe anything, this is it.
Just when you think you know what the next mashup will be... truely unpredictable and loving it.
You are actually a genius
Dime riffing, dude in pink Izod jamming! Perfecto!!
This has no business being as good as it is. Mr. McClintock, you might be the king of mashups.
the (year appropriate) Bandstand footage is also chefs kiss. You outdid yourself on this one, Bill. Thank you
Disco metal, we need to make this a thing.
This is the usual mix of genius and insanity, great work. I hope Phil sees this and responds. I've seen him do so in the past on YT.
With this video and the last one with Judas Priest you’ve basically created a new genre of music called Disco Thrash where groovy dance hooks sit comfortably alongside shred guitar solos and everyone seems to be having the time of their lives on stage. One big, happy world of music making giving way to peace and happiness on earth forever and ever. Amen.
Finally, something to jazzercise to!
Not only is this another genius creation from the wizard, but that thumbnail photo. Phillip, no!? 😂
Okay, Dime's original riff fit in there like butter on bread. Genius my friend.
After 10s I am telling you already : Mother Fucking MASTER PIECE.
