I bought a kit off Amazon. However, the Scotty frame has a lip around the edges that holds it in tight.

Have you ever fabricated the window bits? I have one that is missing the separate panes and have a heck of a time finding a replacement window or the aluminum to possibly make my own.
A lot of the parts are available at Vintage Trailer Supply. A sheet metal shop probably has the metal you are looking for to fabricate.
