Those notches just behind the front faces of the drawers are to keep them from sliding open as the trailer bounces and vibrates while going down the road. Especially on the drivers side due to the down hill slope of the road crown. They hold the drawers closed.

The door knobs are about 1/2 to 1 inch un even out of level. Is that intentional? The asymmetry just goes ‘spoinga boing’ to my eyeballs. The interior of this unit is definitely starting to show some very distinctive personality. Can’t wait to see the cushions installed.

I guess options have value, but with ALL that electric, they chose a gas stove ? Seems like this guy (your customer) is an engineer, need 110, 30 A, 12, 220 or 221, whatever it takes. Why 30A, what is taking that power ? AC ? Electric heat ? -- IDK, seems very complicated but I am sure it makes sense. I do like the like fixtures too !

I am a bit concerned about your circuit routing and planning, but I don’t know your end game so theirs that. Seeing the front and rear window cutouts, soon the side windows to show up. That big trailer is shaping up and filling up fast. Looks like the final details are going to be some time gobblers.

Rob, been following you for a long time. I was surprised that you mounted the shelves with the wavy side up. I figured that you would match the front. I love the light over the kitchen. I am a little surprised at how much electric you put on the frig circuit.

Dang it, I missed ya! I’m still working on my 68 Shasta Loflyte. 2 years in now lol. Figuring out the floor plan is a bit hard with no specs online other than studying pictures on Pinterest. I figured out the front dinette and now pulling my hair out over the goucho bed. It’s ok though.. I’m learning a ton ! Love you channnel soo much!

There any chance the oven is removable without a full disassembly of the kitchen area? Like, where /how are they held down into the camper lol. I Have a 61 shasta and id like to pull the stove and make sure its safe before reinstalling & using.

That roomy insides is filling up and getting crowded fast! The mix of amber and the darker stain is looking good. I am really curious how you’re going to hide or minimize those two panel seams behind the kitchen counter.

I have a Comet that is almost identical to this one. There are only a few things that are slightly different in the stock version of the one in this video and mine. You do amazing work! Absolutely beautiful!

Hey Rob! Getting close to finishing our complete rebuild(all the way down to the frame) ‘68 sportsman gaucho. We wouldn’t have been able to do it without your videos!! We are trying to restore the window shown in this video at 3:30 (front long window). We have taken apart and restored all of the other window but this one is completely different than the others. What kind of trim did you use to keep the glass in place other than the glassers tape of course??? Thank you in advance!!

Rob, what is up with that one piece of wood sitting on top of piece screwed into the wall, others are in line on that frame near the curb side wheel well?

The cardboard in that door is best replaced with a chunk of closed cell foam insulation. They do that on current entry doors on new trailers.
