I'm currently waiting on a walk in poly greenhouse arriving and this is the first modification I'll be making straight away, as the zip up doors seem to be the weak spot on these. I've got lots of treated timber lying around so it's not going to cost me anything. Thanks for posting, it's good to get a heads up before starting a project. Best wishes from Northern Ireland 👍
100% mate the zips go then the wind can get in and take it away, it's always good if you can do it for free I collected that wood over a few weeks. And have you thought about putting a rain catchment system on too ?
Cheers mate, no I hadn't actually thought about the rain catchment. I'll definitely be giving it some thought. As my greenhouse will be sitting on flagstones I'll be mounting it on a timber Base frame as well as the door mod, then I can fix the bottom frame to the flags and hopefully this will prevent it from becoming a kite 😂 I'm looking forward to getting it up and running. 👍
@@therattyfire5468 I put a rain catchment on mine ( did a video on it ) I've got 4 water buts on there now and 3 are totally full and the 5th is filling up and that's only in about 5 weeks or so, definitely worth doing.
Ha you made that look like a walk in the park, not for me everything will go wrong. I will watch it again and again to make sure i get it correct i will do something like leaving the knife inside whilst everything is sealed.
Lol I messed up mate I meant to have the hole in the wooden plinth at the bottom facing down and didn't realise till after I had screwed the posts to it lol,
Y'know Tony, after you check your raw video clips and find a problem like no audio or a jet plane drowning out your voice, you can go back out and re record the bit. I do it all the time. !
Thank you. Tony & Teddy. 🐕👍
You are very welcome mate
You make it look so easy. Great job
Thank you, to be fair it is pretty straightforward
