Go as big as you can with a tunnel, that is the comment I endorse and use with an addition. Go as big as you can plus 6ft...Steve...😁👍

Actually got mine from Premier poly tunnels a family run business who were great to deal with.
2 off us(ladies) put it up the week before xmas and finished it on xmas day about 7yrs ago, we even celebrated by sitting in it having a drink and sandwiches because it was so cosy.

Great tips Tony, I bought mine last year after watching your videos, best thing I’ve done! Even now on a cold wet January day I can pop down and potter around in it! Cheers 👍

I needed this video a couple of years ago 😆 lol. We have a cheap “blow away” polytunnel and this weekend we’ll be modifying it and strengthening it because the zip in the door has broken amongst other things.

Great advice Tony. I was glad that I paid extra for thicker hoops and a better grade of plastic when I bought mine last March. I should have ordered crop bars and all the extras at initial purchase as I live in northern Ireland and shipping is £35. But we learn as we go on. Great video as usual x

Really interesting video! We've inherited a (quite elderly!) polytunnel when we bought this place, so I'm working on renovating it. Last year, to save time I grew my tomatoes and cucumbers in tubs, but this year I'm going to create some beds. Cool to see how you've laid yours out 👍

Poly Tunnels are awesome! I totally agree what you said "You only get what you pay for" Cheap poly tunnels are ok for the first few months but the cost of keep replacing the covers when the wind breaks the zips etc works out just as much as an expensive one. Definitely do what Tony said people and shop around and get the best quality that you can afford.

I’m going to take my time with the next one and get it perfect 😁

your area has to be taken into consideration, tony. vandals can make a polytunnel expensive. i'm lucky now living in a bungalow with a reasonable garden. i now possess a 3m x 3m polytunnel and i'm happy with the size. i'm keeping my allotment on. this gives me 2 options for growing. i have the go ahead for a plot share. the lucky bugger who jumps in with me has the benefit of a greenhouse on the plot for their own use. lucky bugger. ( i can't get into it any more ).......................brian
