Thanks Laura for teaching all of us non-farmers just how amazing the technology is today. Keep the videos coming…you have very loyal fans out here who love sharing your journey with you and Grant!!
Thanks For The Video Laura!! Appreciate You Taking The Time Out Of Your Day To Record Video!! Good To Hear From You !!
Keep Smiling On!!
😅👍👊❤️
The microphones have been a huge improvement in your vlogs this year.
I am more and more amazed at how much they are fine tuning the whole process of crop production. Having accurate GPS mapping is huge with bringing the cost of farming under control.
That's a heck of a machine to be sure. As an aside, I pulled soil samples from my 4800 sq.ft. yard last spring, sent 'em off for analysis and got a 'custom' report back advising what my soil needed and where, as well. Obviously a much smaller scale here but, for a brief moment, I felt like a kindred spirit when Laura had those charts in hand and was explaining the results of her soil tests.
Thanks for sharing the adventure with us!!
C ya on the next video!
👍🐺🧙♂️🤙
Thanks for sharing your life with us!
Sweet machine!
Great video, thank you for using the handheld microphone, very easy to hear and understand you!!
Excellent instruction. You’re a natural teacher.
That’s too cool that they can work their way back from Colorado to Nebraska wow!
Thanks for teaching! Sure beats videos of a camera set up just to watch folks work and make comments which city folk don’t understand.
Awesome thank u so much looks like fun I could c u and Grant or Gage running that love u guys ❤
Lady you are one fine educator! Thank you.
That is something I’d like to see….much bigger than what I’ve seen here in SE Iowa!
Thanks teacher, Laura.
It makes sense hiring somebody to do it. A waste of money buying it to use only once a year.
Stay safe team, love from Mike. ❤
thats a lot of john deer tractor! nice looking nails laura that some colors ya got there, grant is lookin bright and chipper!-planting time is not to far away, which means tractor and field videos ! yupeee! david from arkansas
Very interesting thx 4 sharing
Hey. Way back when 😁 All we had was a 5 ton dump truck with a spreader. gotta love tech .Great video thanks
Hey Girl you should be prepared for a long wet spring which we always have with mild winters. Not sure how to do that but good luck with it.
GREAT AUDIO! WX LOOKS GREAT..
That is pretty awesome machine very interesting info thanks for your great videos laura keep up the great work with brant😊
Good morning Sunshine!! What a beautiful day you had there! Very interesting video today Laura. I leaned quite a bit and appreciate you taking me along for the walk around and ride along. Have a great week ahead! Larry, Central Valley, Ca.
Always love watching these videos! Keep up the great work! God Bless!
Another part of the operation to get the fields ready for planting season.
I'm not a farmer, but I started watching a few farming families on UA-cam and now I'm hooked. I'm ready for the growing season to get going. 👍👏😊
As a farmer I think Laura does an amazing job also the Millennium farmer does a good job also.
They do a great job of explaining things to the non farmer also for a UK/Scottish farmer it's really interesting to see how things are done over the pond, especially with crops we can't or don't grow.
Greetings from Scotland 🏴
I'm sure you are an inspiration to the young farmers. You do an outstanding job covering all the aspects of your farm. Keep up the good work with your videos & subjects looking forward to your next one.
First time I have Ever seen a machine like this, defenitely we do not have those in Spain. Amazing. Congrants for your videos!
Laura is an American sweetheart!
Very interesting ,thank you very much for all this information.
Thanks for sharing, Laura
That machine was great. I always wondered about soil testing on larger fields like you and Grant farm on. The variable application is an innovation that I'd never heard of before.
Thanks for taking us along Laura. This was truly different but fascinating and bigggg. LOL. Stay healthy and eagerly awaiting a new planting season.
I worked in a plant for 21 years that made DAP and GTSP fertilizers. ( DAP =Diammonium Ammonia Phosphate) ( GTSP= Granulated Triple Super Phosphate) I think your using one of those probably the GTSP But I just made it Didn't use. it. It was quite the operation this brings back a lot of memory's.
Looking good moving on got to keep the big wheels going🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸😎😎😎🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
What an amazing piece of equipment that is, and your description of what it does and how it works gives us a really great look at the whole process.
I can't wait for your next video, keep up your wonderful smile!
So fun to meet an early spring sunny day! So much hope and promise is provided by beautiful weather.
Our Laura ought to be a movie star. She is such a natural!
❤❤❤
DAP super.
I put on AB lime and DAP mix over 600ha that I own. Maize 🌽🌽 came off last week for baleage😊
Greetings from Arkansas USA. 🇺🇸 It's nice to hear from you. I should qualify my statement about not being a farmer. I was raised in a large farming family family in the far northeast of Iowa. Every member of the family from my grandpa to uncles, aunts, and cousins either worked on the farm, or a business associated with or in support of farmers. Grandpa owned a Massey Harris and Oliver tractor and implement store. One uncle ran the local grain elevator, another one had a welding shop, and welding service truck. My dad owned an electric motor sales and service business. We were on the go all the time. Dad sold the business and we moved to Arkansas in 1972. I became a nurse, and now I'm retired.
There's a couple other UA-cam channels you should look at. Larson Farms, and Welker Farms. You'll enjoy them.😊
Laura and Grant great video thank you for sharing and your time can't wait for next video thank you
Super excited for #planting24. Looking forward to watching it live. Binge watched 2022 and 2023 while at work. Made night shifts go faster.
Thank you Laura for a great educational video. A lot of people like myself that aren't farmer's just how much goes into farming before planting right through harvesting. So anyone who thinks farming is easy I ask you to watch a few of Laura's videos that will change your mind. ❤
70 years ago we did a similar thing but a little slower.
It was clean the barn of manure and spread it on the field where the crops were poorest.
Today not everyone has manure for their field but those that do handle it with equipment closer to this machine than the 60 bushel machine I used. The farms in my area back then were about 100 acres, a far cry from what is today.
Beautiful Nebraska & beautiful farmers. Great moment watching your day Laura & Grant. Thanks 👋
What an education we get from you. Talk that Talk and Walk that Walk!
about the same temperature my side of the pond. forget any of those beautiful blue skies though ☁😶🌫🌧
My neighbor, who farms our ground, spreads with a modified IH dump truck with oversized, floatation tires!
Again, thanks for doing what is so great about your You Tube site - showing with an intelligent narrative another very good instructional video about what goes on during the year on a midwestern, corn & soybean farm. I have actually "shared" many times on my Facebook, news-feed your posts because I use these to show and explain what is happening and the operation of the equipment on your, as well as my, farm. I am in an intensive, crop-growing area of the mid-west like you (400 miles to the southeast of your operation); and I am , sometimes, surprised how unaware family and friends in the area are about how corn & soybeans are currently raised. Holding that microphone that way makes you look like a television, reporter - very professional.
At 2:55 you said 'applicating' instead of applying. 😂 I love that new word and will start using it.
It's amazing that they're replacing the tires every year! I'm just thinking of the cost. I know Colorado is ""right next door "", but I bet that's some ride home spreading different fields all the way. That's absolutely the best way to get coverage. Having a independent business handle it. Spring is a fickle season. It's 60 here in Amishland middle of PA and by tomorrow it won't get out of the 30's. High wind warning for tonight until 7:AM tomorrow. Nice video. God bless you all and safe travels on your journey
Thanks for showing this to everyone, your father has talked about how the fertilizer is varied throughout the field...
I love playing firm sim twenty two , and i've used these on the game before they are quite expensive but a necessary tool
Didn’t know JD made floaters. Thanks for the info, interesting.
Super wie du immer erfahrener in der Landwirtschaft bist!!Deine Eltern sind sicher sehr stolz !!!Liebe Grüße aus Deutschland ❤
greetings from mexico laurita
I swear that tractor driver looks like he could be grants brother with a beard! Love the video. I learn something every time I watch your channel.
Hello there 👋,how are you doing today!God bless you!!!❤️
Oh cmon Laura! At the end of your great little video you didn't say BYE like you always do! I feel deprived. The cute way you say BYE is iconic
Yep
I love the "good morning!" to open the videos with the iconic Laura Farms hair flip!😂😂😂
I used to drive a Terra gator dry machine. Started with booms and went back to spin spreader. Tried out a case with the booms behind the cab, lt weird with them there. And a Loral. The Loral went the fastest down the road. But ended up with Terra gator
2/28/24 - What a wonderful service by the CO- OP ! Hope you have a very profitable year in 2024 ! Good luck From Charleston,SC
At least you don't have to float a loan for a machine like this. Thanks for letting us ride along.
Be among the first to experience cruising elevated thank you Laura farms.
Super engin muni d’une technologie exceptionnelle. Bravo Laura de présenter un matériel aussi élaboré. 👍👏😘🚜🇫🇷
WOW.....!!!!! GOOD JOB.....!!!!!
Thanks so much for Laura and my brother, God bless you.
Very interesting! Thanks For Sharing! Love Your Videos! Keep Up The Good Work!!!
Hi Laura. Looks pretty cool. Papa showed us your channel with this implement so we came and subscribed. 😊🐻👍
All the hi tech equipment is so amazing now days Laura.
I was wondering how you and Grant could afford the big equipment. Coop farming is wonderful. (Former Nebraska boy living in Florida)
They afford it because their parents got them into the business.
Good morning Laura Farms fom Thailand
wind swept and interesting, love the hair Laura 🤗
That's amazing technology to be able to fertilize in just the right places. Love to learn something new. Always great videos. Thanks Laura!
That was awesome!!
your wwireless mikes were perfect. no wind noise, and even with grant 50 feet away, he was on mike perfectly!
Well done. Great audio and interesting content. What kind of fertilizer or supplements are you using to add to sulphur and phosphorus?
Appreciate the content...always makes my day!
So cool, y’all make the best videos on UA-cam. Thanks!
Waaauuu - extremely nice to see new expensive LARGE machinery 🙂
Wow, cool technology
Very Cool equipment
Nice machine . You got to go for a ride and you took us along . The operator had a nice red beard . I have gray beard . Nice blue nails . Thanks .
Nice to see the use of technology to prevent over fertilization or just doing a blanket of fertilzer over the whole field.
So cool Laura and Grant. Keep it up!
Thank you for the education. I am interested in seeing if this has a positive impact on yields and year over year.
Way cool Laura.
So interesting!
ENJOYED WATCHING THE VIDEO LAURA AND GRANT 😊
Thank you Laura!
Cool ride! I’m jealous. I never got to joy ride in the fun stuff, lol.
Ya'll rock!😊
Out here in Oregon, they are called swamp buggies!. Ha!
I never would have guessed there would be so much variation in soil condition. Is it because of the way the rain water pools? Would a completely flat surface be more uniform?
Great show very well done
I LOVE your little furry microphones! I think I'll start my own UA-cam channel just so I can have one! I'll name mine "Tribble."
Impressive machine.... technology is really helping big farming operations today. thanks for sharing... do they bill you by the acre and application???
AgChem Terragators used to have the market but since Deere began to build sprayers and dry spreaders, they pretty much have the market now.
Can’t wait to see you at the Off Road Games
Interesting and informative thanks
It sure is amazing what technology has brought to Agriculture. Maps from soil sampling analysis fit right into computer to apply fertilizer at different rates depending on where the requirements were high or low. I knew of some reports from combines could tell you where your fields were weedy and required spraying in spring. Are you not starting to worry about drought this upcoming growing season as you haven't had much snow cover to build your water table up in the soil?
thanks for sharing
Nice. Very nice and educating
Yeah Pepper! I bet she is hungry because she is so vocal.
