Difficult to express the joy of sitting down to watch another wonderful watercolor Wednesday. The music, the humor and the painting is top notch. Can't wait for the next one! 😀
Putting in the detail ,at the end of my paintings , I always thought it as my reward for a job well done, (wither the job was well done or not.).....🤣......This was so joyful to watch.....Thank you and your hard working wife for sharing once again!
I like the way how you paint, moreover your explanation is easy to understand for me . I am 75 years old and painting since several years. I fam lucky to meet your in this video. Thank you paul!
Thank you for mentioning the amount of time the painting required. It helps the viewer understand their time commitment rather than thinking the painting is possible in 30 minutes… love your videos!
Paul, you're a real friend to have on Wednesday or any day. May God bless you and Margot for all your kindness. This painting takes me where I want to be. You also make that cucumber sandwich look delicious! 👌
Maybe years from now and lots of practice, I will be able to paint like this. I love your painting style and the way you teach. Ever since i started watching you, my paintings have improved some. Thank you Paul.
What a beautiful painting. The last addition of a little pastel to bring the plant forward was such a great tip. You are a great inspiration. Thank you!
Hello, I’m French and I love watching your videos . Thanks a lot. I’m not so good but nevertheless my English is better now😊 We can really improve our watercolour work with your advice . And listen to you is always a pleasant moment
The best bit, that really brought it all to life? The lemon pastel on the bush in the middle, it made it really pop. Fab. I have that palette, and it was really useful to see you use it, your mixes etc.
Thanks again Paul for another winner. If my wife likes it, which she does in this case, you know you've done well. She's the best critic of my efforts as she has no fear telling me when I've gone astray. I assume Margot is the same.
LOL, I do so appreciate your humor. Thanks for the tips and also you read my mind as I was thinking how is he doing that directional splatting & then you showed us. Thanks again for another lovely video.
Ummm! Think I’ll go and visit this garden🤔. Thanks for yet another tutorial full of info. Many of us amateurs would have baulked at this photo because of the green but your explanations again give us the knowledge and confidence to have a go.thank you Pau.
Wow! That is the most beautiful English garden! I am excited to make some time and give this a try! I learn something new with every video you do. This time one of the things I learned is that you can eat a cucumber sandwich in less than 5 seconds 😳😂🤣. Also about putting the masking fluid on top of the dry paint for the flowers 🌺, among other thing’s! Thank you Paul
Thanks Paul for your great tuition. Today I've been to my garden, where there is still snow. What a surprise to see your painting tonight - a colorful garden with ruins. I will paint with you and dream that my garden will be like yours. Nadezda, Saint Petersburg
So I’m a little behind on the tutorials, as you can see, but I LOVED seeing your palate as you painted this garden scene. I often get lost on the consistency of the paints and it was perfectly clear in this tutorial because we can see your palette. Thank you so much for showing it and I hope you put your palette in view for future paintings.
Lovely study, can hear the crunch on the gravelly path and were you to brush your legs on some of those plants you'd need to scratch! Great texturing! Thankyou! XXX
Hahaha, that was a BIG bite of cucumber sandwich. I love me some hot tea - I often call myself a "tea-a-holic," lol! I love this painting - the contrast you have in it is just so striking. ❤️
Loved the lesson.Never thought of putting the flowers in first, great idea. The techniques will help me in a painting I'm about to start. It was, as always, informative and delightfully laid back.
This is lovely. I learnt many tips from just this one video and even took notes. Looking forward to watching more. The cup of tea and cucumber sandwich made me laugh so much.
My first one is definitely not frame-worthy - but I'm so glad I tried this. Making green landscapes is so hard to do and even this clumsy first attempt looks livlier, more 3-D and real. Thanks for this. I'll do it again, maybe a couple of times, to get the hang of it. Whoopee!
I started this painting with the "Fear Factor" present in my thoughts and about a third of the time into the tutorial I felt that I should give up. Then Paul's pep talk appeared and I followed the advice and carried on. The result was not as good as I would have liked but it was not "bad" either. Overall I achieved most of the objectives of the exercise and my wife said "it is lovely " . So thanks for the pep talk , it worked.
Love the practice for enhancing and exaggerating the original. I have taken so many photos in our woods but they are so one dimensional in summer. This encouraged me to dig them out and get creative. Will finish the stone arch tomorrow. Thanks for another fun lesson and a great afternoon. 😉
Love your videos and your humor in the video. You’re the go-to-guy when it comes to technique and learning watercolor. I really like you provide the percentage of mixing colors and what colors you use on the areas of the painting. Pleas do one on a rainy day in the city. Thanks!
Thank you for sharing your amazing talent with us .I love that you give us the how but also why we do something. Like the opposite corners clear. Thank you.
Thanks to your great tutorials, Paul, I have painted over a hundred paintings in the past two years. Some of them are actually frame-able...actually a lot of them. I have 94 of them on my walls and use the walls of my garage for the overflow. You are such a blessing. Greensboro NC
I discovered your tutorials recently and I learn a lot! I have been painting for many years, but too detailed. So I admire your loose painting style! This garden painting is beautiful, I love the subject, I visited various gardens in Kent and Sussex in the past and painted some of them!
I love your spontaneity and looseness. Your work is gorgeous. I am very detailed and am trying to become looser in my work. Your videos help tremendously.
Gosh! So much to love about this painting. The stone walls, your use of ultramarine blue thru out…your comment about adding music while u paint ( i like Dire Straits greatest hits - keeps it moving along😆. The use of white gouache at end like the icing on the cake - stunning…Great project for showing many different shades of green. Ill b trying this one definitely. Getting ready for a local community art show of 55+ yr old artists here in California next week. There are a half dozen artists in class that follow you. Thank you Paul 4 continuing to inspire us.
Difficult to express the joy of sitting down to watch another wonderful watercolor Wednesday. The music, the humor and the painting is top notch. Can't wait for the next one! 😀

I love that you're a professional, but not afraid to be silly ("this decorative... thingy")
I really enjoyed this week's ruined garden thanks paul
My, my,my - how more wonderful can you get. Thanks for being there...
Thank you too!
Putting in the detail ,at the end of my paintings , I always thought it as my reward for a job well done, (wither the job was well done or not.).....🤣......This was so joyful to watch.....Thank you and your hard working wife for sharing once again!
Well said! - thanks!

Glad it was helpful!
Joyful and calming 22 minutes. Thank you❗️
Can I just come take a walk in your paintings? Beautiful, as always!
I appreciate you telling how long it takes to complete your paintings.
Paul, you're a real friend to have on Wednesday or any day. May God bless you and Margot for all your kindness. This painting takes me where I want to be. You also make that cucumber sandwich look delicious! 👌
Thank you so much 😀 - it was tasty but only lasted 5 seconds!
Possibly my favorite so far. Just lovely.
I'll watch this video more than once, thank you
One word: FABULOUS 🤗
Maybe years from now and lots of practice, I will be able to paint like this. I love your painting style and the way you teach. Ever since i started watching you, my paintings have improved some. Thank you Paul.

Thank you so much 😀
Hi from Russia. Thank you for your calm videos during this turbulent time.
You're welcome 😊
Very nice, indeed! The patchwork of varied greens works so much better with plants than it did in my mother-in-law’s living room. 🍀🐲🤢
Another wow a joy to watch the garden come a live

exquisite display of imagination, and a kind of loose painting.

You can do it!
Excellent! Thank you Paul and Margo 2:59
Your splattering always looks so precise. Mine ends up all over the place as my computer screen, keyboard, desk, phone, and cat can attest to.
You,sir, are a genius… and a very generous one too. Many thanks
You are very welcome

This is a really beautiful painting. I love the top left hand corner.
