  • Here is my plant haul from Succulents Depot. I include a one week update of the sedum at the end since it looked the messiest.
Overall, the prices were great but the condition of some plants were not optimal. After contacting customer support about one of the plants, they offered a credit of half the cost, which I felt was appropriate.
    Thanks for watching!

Thank you for this video. I was thinking of ordering from them because they had the orange river string of hearts but after seeing this video, I’m going to skip and stick to my usual Mountaincrest Gardens. The quality of these plants do not look good at all, and they clearly didn’t ship well either. Thank you for your honesty and showing everything in the unboxing.

Glad it was helpful! They definitely are the cheapest but I also prefer Mountain Crest for online orders - I just look for the sales! 😊

Thanks for the insight. I don't think I'll be ordering from Succulent Depot. After ordering from Mountain Crest Garden, it's pretty hard to beat their price/quality point. Their shipping is superb! Come on? Depot couldn't ship them in little 2" pots???

Glad it was helpful! Yeah, I've had some other bare root shipments from other companies but they have been packaged more carefully. I agree with your point about MCG!

Hi, do you have a greenhouse? Here is raining a lot here day, and I have lost some of them!

Sorry to hear - I've lost a few to rain too, usually little ones in pots that were too big. I don't have a greenhouse, but I have a screened-in patio where I keep most of my potted succulents so they can't get too much rain. All the ones in the ground here seem to do well too but I usually don't move them to the ground until they get pretty big.

Hi! Three came bare root and the rest came potted in soil. I actually usually prefer them to be bare root because they can be packaged more carefully but this order was a little messy. Another company (Leaf & Clay) packages them bare root and I haven’t had any damage issues.

Hello! Thank you for the feedback! I just updated the subtitles so that should help. I didn't realize that I hadn't saved them!
