@@Buraz93 Well KIMB was remixed because that's what it really needed. Rust in peace was also remixed in 2004 but it sounds shitty compared to the original, the only remarkable remasters are 2011's remaster of peace sells and 2004's of SFSGSW
As an audiophile, I’m glad to see someone else that gets it. This is usually the sad truth most of the time for remasters.

This box set is long out of print. The second-hand asking price for this set brand new is astronomical, $1,500-$2,000. It would be nice to do a small run of re-issues so those of us that missed out on the first run can purchase one from the second run at MSRP.

Master of Puppets is my all time favorite Metallica album!! SO many fun memories listening to this album back in high school!! It sucks so much that my old CD player system and my dad's old Vinyl record player broke a long time ago cuz i would DEFINITELY bought this Day One!!!

From what I hear Justice is next. Then the rest of the albums. I believe they are doing them all.
A Metcub staffer posted they are doing a deluxed Garage Days......but a month or so later we received an e-mail looking for Justice footage for the upcoming Justice box set.
Maybe a combo of Garage and Justice?
Seeing that cassette in there really made me happy. A wonderful throwback to a childhood filled with METALLICA!
The box sets so far are cool, but I'll keep waiting for *that* one. You know, the one that truly deserves a remaster. Add a live CD of Seatle '89 and only then we have a deal.
You do realize remaster for AJFA won't bring bass to the hearing? xD It's REMASTER not REMIX. Don't expect any bass in the future.
Ok, let me re-phrase then. We have a deal when they release a REMIX of Justice.
Since the whole point of these kind of remasters or remixes or whatever is to make it sound better, I don't see any reason to give out more than 200€ for something that sounds just slightly better without tackling the thing that upset people the most about Justice, especially for the price they're asking for. The high price is reasonable is the previous box sets. The albums sound good as they came out already. Better sound and a plethora of extras are enough to make the cut. Justice and St. Anger are different beasts. Lack of bass and wierd snares won't make it.
But then again, it's my opinion. I'm not criticizing whoever bought them, just giving my two cents about it.
TheSoulExplorer I'm in my 40's and actually remember this album coming out in '89 and going out to the record store to buy my CD for like $30bux. I honestly can't remember when the "no bass" thing became an issue, because it wasn't an issue back then. I actually love the sound of the album. Cranked on a proper set of speakers? I think it sounds awesome. It's a snapshot of the time. I'd still prefer to listen to a mix like this than how they mix and master the current albums. James' voice is SO loud on new recordings and they're overly compressed in my opinion.
Then your wish will become reality, as they are set to release Justice remastered, with the live in Seattle '89 (plus some more I guess)

i'm in no way a metallica fan but this is amazing. i love how they are not re seeling the albums but adding incredible collectibles sorrounding the history of it. a real piece of document is designed and collected in here.

Option 1: Buy this box set with a "remastered" version of the album plus books with photos and articles, then set it on a shelf to collect dust.
Option 2: Put the album's FLAC files into an equalizer, slightly shift some nobs and come out with the exact same "remastered" sound (since that is all they do anyway), go online, download the same images in the books and read the same articles all online for free.
Option 3: Buy the Box set $200 then wait a few months after it's released and sells out. Then sell it for about $350. :)
So far the best Box. I also love the cassette. I´m glad I still have a radio where I can play the cassette. Great and sad at the same time to hear Cliff´s last concert and last sound of his bass guitar. Cliff Burton R.I.P.
