Love your newly purchased goats. Love your podcasts so very much. What a journey. I will feel you will be sharing your adventure with all of us on your site❤

I love them! 💗 For shears I would personally recommend the Oster A5 Turbo with 10 blade. Very affordable, and they work very well for shearing angora goats. They are also smaller and quieter so they can read more difficult areas and they are less likely to nick. Made shearing my girls Annalise and Sophia much easier. Mohair is my favorite fiber (though I love all fiber) and the goats are just so cute! ☺

Thank you! I had those in the past and had problems with them. I did order some different ones on Prime Day and I'm hoping they are what I need. I still have the Oster ones, but I can only make 1 pass on the animal and then they stop cutting, so I'm not sure what is wrong with them.

They are beautiful! I am glad they are friendly and have bonded with you. Goats can be very loyal and affectionate. Their favorite thing to do is NOT helping... You need a t-post camera mount! I wonder if that is a thing???? Thank you for sharing.

Thank you! They are both very sweet, especially the little one. Hubby has trail cams I could use.

You might want to look into FAMACHA scoring to better judge parasite load. I have had to do my own deep dive into parasite control with my sheep & goats this year.

Yes, I am familiar with FAMACHA and is what I use. Animals always create deep dives for us don't they! :)

They are so cute & have such lovely fiber. I can't wait to see what you do with it. I've always wanted angora goats so eager to see how do raise them.😁

The horns also keep the goats with hair regulate their body temperature. Goats are a herd animal. I will tell you from experience, three feel more like a herd then two. I hope you can get another one. They will be a lot happier.
