My DVC Home Resort!!!!

Stayed in a Resort Studio back in April this year, our first stay at our Home Resort. Absolutely loved our stay, assuring us, of our correct choice of DVC purchase. The only downside was that we were in a groundfloor room, 9138, which unknown to us overlooks the smoking area so we were unable to sit out on the 'balcony/patio'. We felt so at home, enjoyed every second!!

Oh no! That sounds like it wouldn't be a positive experience at all! Sorry you ended up having to deal with that, BUT really glad to hear that you feel good about your DVC Purchase!
I would have asked for another room. Would not want to smell the smoke!!
The Deluxe Studios over in the stand-alone DVC building at Grand Floridian is a nicer room and a nicer space. All are extremely nice, however.
I love the GF! I have stayed in the regular resort view and we have a keurig with lots of K cups, I don’t understand why the small coffeemaker. Overall, I love it! The view is spectacular!

My main complaint with the resort studios is the lack of the kitchenette. But they are beautiful rooms, tastefully done.

Will be staying here in January fir a wedding. I am DVC first time to get the resort I always wanted to stay at. It is a resort room, which is not a true DVC room. We like a toaster and a frig for leftover can not do that in a cooler. I notice in the video there was a steamer and no iron, which I will need for this stay.
This is a Resort Studio, which is a DVC Room, but does not have the same amenities of a Deluxe Studio. . . . to include an iron & ironing board. It's also not available upon request for this room according to the DVC Amenities list.

The standard room rate for around the time we stayed would have been roughly $872 before taxes and fees. Being that this was DVC it was a total of 28 points.
