Great tour! Very impressed with these much needed renovations, particularly the Mary Poppins classy touches throughout, the fresh color palate, and markedly improved functionality of the room overall. Hopefully this bodes well for the rest of the renos at the Floridian.
The best deal is the standard studio at 124 points, almost twice the price for a one bedroom which is beautiful but costly.. straight cash prices crazy 800-1150 a night. I can rent them for 18-20 a point but my cost and annual maintenance is 10-11 a point. As far as NC it may be a better price renting on the market but not sure yet
Hello fantastic video well done. Does the villas at grand Floridian still get the same percs as the grand Floridian eg extra magic hours? Many thanks in advance.
As always, a great room tour! Quick question for you.. when you stayed there, how was the noise in comparison with other studios at WDW? Have heard mixed reviews.. really hate to hear someone above/beside me using the restroom… Appreciate any enlightening feedback.
We are owners at GF and are so excited for this. We’re adults and the pull down Murphy mattresses are just too thin for our backs (but I know it’s so much better than the sofa beds). We often stay at OKW because of the beds, but the fact that we have this option now is so much better. I think I might add on another contract for GF soon!
When you book a "Resort Studio" at the Villas at the Grand Floridian it will be one of the rooms in this building. They have a few different view options to choose from. :)
We’ve used it for milk before and never had a problem. Disney says the coolers are only meant for keeping drinks cool, but we’ve used it for leftovers, milk, etc and never had an issue with anything we’ve stored in them.
While we prefer the building location of the Resort Studios, the Deluxe Studios win for us because of the split bathroom layout, and the Murphy bed which gives us much more floor space in the room (as we don't need the 2nd bed). Check out the refurbished Deluxe Studio here: ua-cam.com/video/he2S9opltAg/v-deo.html
@@HereWithTheEars Thanks so much! I actually booked the Resort Studio before I saw your response. But we do need the second bed so maybe its a better choice for us. And if the location is better that's great too. Thank you!
if i want a studio in the main VGF building that has the covered walkway to the main building, would i want the deluxe studio? are these resort studios the Big Pine Key rooms?
Weird question: are the doors into the resort rooms made of wood or metal? I’m headed down for marathon weekend and I’d like to decorate my door but was wondering if magnets would work or if I should plan on bringing tape. Thank you in advance!!
They’re made of wood so magnets wouldn’t work. Keep in mind it is technically against Disney policy to decorate your door at Disney World. (Not on the ships but at the resorts). We’ve never heard of them saying anything to guests about taking decorations down, but it is possible since there is a rule against it. Just wanted to let you know 😊
I’m not sure because we went to the park the night we stayed here. Generally the Magic Kingdom resorts do pump the music in on the TVs, but I can’t verify it for these rooms specifically.
DVC is Disney’s timeshare. There are villas at Grand Floridian included in DVC. The best way to understand it more would be to watch our explanation of it as it’s not a one sentence answer 😊 DVC Explained - What is Disney Vacation Club? - DVC 101 ua-cam.com/video/mQg8Lql-Vh8/v-deo.html
Hi Robert and Alyssa - beautiful tour. We are staying in one of the DVC studios with a lake view at GF during Christmas week…can’t wait ! David, Sophie and Olivia 🇬🇧🛩😎🌴🎡🏰🇺🇸🎇
@@HereWithTheEars No refrigerator, no kitchenette sink, No table to eat in the room, no ironing board or iron, and who needs a second bed - the VGF caters to couples. The word studio means it should have a kitchenette and table.
There is a small table in the room. Having two real beds is nice for me and my adult daughter who always comes to visit me here. I like having a real bed and not a pull out or pull down bed. The room is laid out better than OKW, with a nicer tv.
The room at Grand feels bigger which is nice and puts you near Magic Kingdom, but Riviera has better food options and is a Skyliner away from 2 parks. We personally prefer Riviera so we’d choose there over Grand, but they’re both good options 😊
great video. thanks for pointing out the detail i tend to over look these things. my kids will be excited.

We were surprised at how much we liked these rooms! Definitely agree: hoping this is a good sign for the rest of the resort remodels. 😊
@@HereWithTheEars Thank you ❤ for these tours! Super super helpful! Can you please tell me what room number this specific video is?
Been DYING to see your tour for this room. Thank you!!
You’re welcome! We were finally able to book a stay! 😃

Great walk thru. Those don't look like queen sized beds to me. Wow.
good to know it has a steamer for the clothes - thanks nice video
Glad it was helpful!
Great video! Love the style and theming of these rooms and the colour palette is great . Thx for a great tour 😊
They did such a great job with these! We were surprised at how much we liked them 😃
Absolutely love the Mary Poppins subtle details!
We do too. They did such a wonderful job adding them throughout while still making it all elegant and classy 💕

You give the best room tours, thank you!
Thanks so much! 😃
Thanks so much for the tour! We will be there in September! I’m so excited we’ve not stayed at GF before
These new rooms look beautiful! Have a magical stay ✨

We’re so happy Disney is adding more options like this at the resorts 😊
What a beautiful room! Can't wait to stay here in the future. Are these the same amount of points as the deluxe studio rooms?
All of the details are so pretty! How do you ensure you get one of these rooms versus a different building?
When you book a "Resort Studio" at the Villas at the Grand Floridian it will be one of the rooms in this building. They have a few different view options to choose from. :)
Oh the door is for an adjoining room. I get it.
Great studio room tour. Thank you!!
You’re welcome!
Great video! Do you know if those fridges/cooler can store milk? Just afraid it would spoil milk!
We’ve used it for milk before and never had a problem. Disney says the coolers are only meant for keeping drinks cool, but we’ve used it for leftovers, milk, etc and never had an issue with anything we’ve stored in them.

Resort studios are in Big Pine Key, yes. If you want the covered walkway, you would need to book a deluxe studio.

OMG It's gorgeous !!
We love the new design 💕
Does this room have enough space for a pack and play/crib? Seems tight
I think it could fit one, but it will definitely be in the way. You’d want to fold it up each morning to be able to move around better.
Do you know if you can access Disney+ on the new smart tvs in the room?!
No you can’t. They do have a few movies on demand or you Chrome cast from your device.
Does the night stand have the usb/power plug on both sides or just one?
Both sides
Dang I was busy and missed the premier
We’ll have another one tomorrow! Hopefully you can catch it then 😃
Is there no toaster ??
Does anyone know if the TPV get the fireworks music pumped in?
I’m not sure because we went to the park the night we stayed here. Generally the Magic Kingdom resorts do pump the music in on the TVs, but I can’t verify it for these rooms specifically.
@Here With The Ears seen a posting in social media and they said no.
What I'd DVC as opposed to the Grand Flo ?

Do they have single bed option for this
No

That will be so nice! We hope you have an amazing trip! ❤️❤️❤️
How much is it to rent points in that?
It completely depends on the time of year you go as it changes. It also depends on where you rent points from as everyone charges their own fees.
Sorry - it is a resort room not a studio. Made me pass on VGF and take a chance on Poly resale
The only true difference is there’s no pull-down bed which is great for anyone who’s had to sleep on the pullouts in other studios 😊
