15 years ago my boss bought a few bottles of wine and gave them out at a holiday party. He gave everyone the same bottle but mistakenly gave me a 1987 Opus One. I went home and drank it with my wife and thought...”damn, this is good”! Didn’t find out till that following Monday he mistakenly gave me the wrong bottle. He was a generous guy but not that the generous.
"This wine is purple in color"
Good to know, useful video!
Each single drop of these wine worths more than my life and my soul combined.
I know a guy who will give you all 10 of these bottles for your soul. You maybe underestimating value of your soul. Intrested?
Topic suggestion " how to pronounce"
...and "how to spell", too. But it was a nice viticultural/wine appreciation promenade, in any case.
I'm French and her pronunciation was spot on. Cheval Blanc, Lafite, Romanée-Conti, she used the correct way to say those names
I'm enjoying a bottle of Chateau Lafite 85 right now with my bowl of Cheeze-its !
just a Dr Pepper please
I have a case of 1873 vintage Dr. Pepper owned by count Dracula. It is a rare collector's item. Can sell it to you at like 250 000 dollars a 33 cl can.
Poor waiter. 😅😫😭
I cant afford to watch this video
"Hell, I don't read it, I drink it."
- Redd Foxx
Luckily the most expensive ain't the best! 😂🤣
Ahh.. Was waiting for this one..
For me the most expensive wine is when I have it I get good sleep and fresh morning.
Damn, imagine being a waiter and accidently shatter a wine bottle worth 220 k geez
im just enjoying this video plus this is very interesting
Pls upload about most expensive perfumes
Alux how are yall, hope yall are doing will. Yall should do a video on the most expensive coffee in the world.
Fantastic job my friend I like the video thanks for your
number 1: 6 pack budweiser from 1799 owned by napoleon.
No way! Napoleon drank only Miller Lite. I have a case of it, handsigned by N. Bonapart with a pink marker!
Guys can you please do more videos about the most expensive watches and brands !!! They are the best !!!!!
Most of these information are not correct at all. Maybe you should not relays on web sites, talk to some professional people
I agree with you. Ten years ago, Cheval Blanc 1947 on Latour D’ Argent was in the Wine list for €10,000
I also agree. You can find a screaming eagle cabernet Sauvignon in the shop Crump Richmond fine wines in London for 12315 €
Probably the most expensive wine in the world is '' Aurum Red'', there's been a bottle sold on 300.000€+
That dude straining a wine at the beginning will never pass a sommelier decanting/serving exam
SteelWarrior115 you get better decanting service at a hipster laidback wine bar in SoHo
Its been 3 years and i still can’t get over her intoxicating voice..
Awesome list!
And I feel cool after spending $15 for a bottle of sparkling wine ...
SaudiGangStar In most cases it’s probably true but not necessarily. You can find very tasty wines for way less, like even $10. Depends on the brand and the kind.
@@SaudiGangStar That is absolutely NOT true by any means. The price of wine once you get to a certain point has absolutely nothing to do with the quality - its to do with how rare the vintage is, the process of making it (how many people are employed, is it by hand or machine), and where the wine generally is from.
@@MegaHariboboy May you please give me some suggestions.. am a fan of fruity less sweetness red wine.
Good video , creative and very informative , interesting topic
Nice vid! Wines are great, but I prefer a nice premium cigar....
most expensive books
This is a great video really expensive wine.
What is the piece of music played at the beginning of the video? It reminds me of home, but I can't think of the name.
It was Malcom Forbes that bought the 1787 Chateau lafite that was allegedly owned by Thomas Jefferson. The Jeffersonian museum believes that he never owned the wines and some of the wines that were found in the same cache were deemed to be fake.
Yup those are the Rodenstock fake bottles. The engraving was made with an electric cutter, which naturally did not exist in 1787.
Bill Koch owns the 4 fakes in the video and the 1787 Lafite was a fake Rodenstock too. The 1787 Margaux that got smashed might very well have been a fake too but could have been real.
The best wine is: Dingač, from the Pelješac peninsula in Croatia, the price $ 15 per bottle.
I was wondering why petrus not include.
#4. Imagine beings rich you could throw a party for the wine you bought
I definitely buy some to drink and some to save. My current favorite is Opus One.
FINNALY YOU DID ANITHER MOST EXPENSIVE VIDEO
Ten Things You Didn't Know About Ralph Lauren Purple Label.
Ive had bottles of LeFeit and Screaming Eagle but they were anticlimactic as hell..I was left standing there wondering "I spent how much on blah?"
Most probably screaming eagle is the worst tasting one on this list. The story behind is also so weak...
Well done!
I love red wine. And i know good wine too. white wine included too.
Did I see an ice cube being dropped into a glass of wine in the intro?!
I'm the Smartest Man Eu for the last 100 years. Can you handle it
Parents will never let me drink but still watching.🤣
K.R.A.M Synth because you’re underage. Wait until you’re 21 and they’ll let you
Me:wow that’s a lot of money for wine
Billionaire:laughs in rich
Good video!
7:30 sorry for the waiter 😥
That's insane, I may drink wine occasionally. To go with what i eat. But if I had the money. I would never spend that amount of money.
@@victor-gn4jg you don't have to be intelligent to be surrounded by money all your life
I read a whole book about 1787 Lafite lol pretty interesting. Called the billionaire’s vinegar.
I have collected wine on and off for sometime now and have started to collect again for investment purposes. My most expensive bottle is a 1999 Chateau Haut-Brion with a not too distant in price bottle of Ridge Mont Bello 1999. The others that I have are a bit farther down the price spectrum. But it is fun in finding the rare ones that are in my price range.
To own a vintage first growth Bordeaux…you are very lucky indeed. I would not be able to resist opening the Haut-Brion and drinking it in one sittinf
And here I am drinking cola thinking it's the "SCREAMING eagol cabinet sauerkraut 1992"
how about information on best/most expensive men fragrances
Watching the video while having a glass of a common red dry 🍷... I know some rich people buy these veery expensive wines for investment, reselling them later on for huge amounts of money... I can't help thinking, though, that if one enjoys a glass of a much cheaper wine, but with the RIGHT person (-s), then he/she feels as if drinking the best wine in the world... We've got one life to live. Money ( business) is important, no doubt about it, but those moments when we allow ourselves to have a good chat and a smile over a glass of wine, are far more important than all the 💰 in the world.
@@joelkremla2918 if that's all you have to say, people must have a blast toking to you.

Hey can you put a video on things which books. Don't teach an beginer enterpremeur
AirFrance serves Chāteau Margaux on their first class cabin, not sure if it’s the Balthazar tho
me : the most expensive wine I have drank is the wine made by my mom
It's really sad that you classify a wine by its price. A wine is a work, a wine is an art, a wine is the representation of the soul of the wine maker. Pricier doesn't mean better.
The average bottle of Chateau Petrus only costs around $3500 because it's made in such limited quantities. Domaine de la Romanée Conti is $15000 per bottle for new vintages because a very tiny number of bottles are produced each year, but there is massive demand from rich consumers. It doesn't mean they are 5 to 50 times better than a bottle of Chateau Margaux (Premier grand cru classé), they are just much more rare and harder to obtain.
If a wine tastes good, thats it.
No price can measure it. Wether it costs 10$ or 10.000$
Bite me
Wow I thought I'd see Petrus the wine looks I didn't but I still want to try the first wine it showed and petrus chuuya drinker those two expensive wine
I think you should write that 10 most expensive wines of chateau
The background music of this video is woww
Im pretty sure the waiter who bumped the table met a tragic fate together with the wine
Thanks for using my country music as a background in this video. Viva El cuatro Puertorriqueño!
Nice video
If I had and sell at least 5 bottles of these vines I will became a millionaire
I love wine ! I would drink and keep expensive wine as an investment . I want to go to a wine cellar.
Guy I know owns a wine and spirits store with his father
Went there for a wine bottle and he told me no wine is worth more than $40 but people sell it for much more
I would love to invest in the luxurious wines and I've a great taste in it. Once I become a billionaire then I'll definitely deal in fine tastes of wine, It gives me a sense of happiness and royalty when I see these wines🍷 In love with the Screaming Eagle Cabernet Sauvignon and Ampoule From Penfolds ❣️❤️👏🍷
Superb
Shocker Bordeaux and Burgundy dominate the list
Wines are fabulous
Screaming Eagle was sold for charitable purposes - it’s a lot of money for not much.
Thank you
I am sad that sangr'eal 1529 isnt on the list. Understandably it was the most prestigious wine available only for royal families during the time and was not sold to public. Would've love to have a taste of it but I'd still prefer est est or everluce. Oh well, I guess these relicts will never be produce again for us all.
Those wines contained of 24 k Gold 😂
WOW!!!! Its Grape Juice. lol
What about Chateau Petrus
9:32 a small note a Jeroboam is 6 X 750 ml. Your calculation is correct if you assume 36 glasses per jeroboam....but a Jeroboam is not a standard size bottle 750 ml. just an fyi.
Very appetising! That said, I'll stick To my Cuvée St-Pierre (8,50$cdn) for a while.
If I pay this much for a bottle of wine, I’m going to drink it. I’m sorry. Lol
Can anyone tell me is that ok to drink cheap wine i buy yesterday 10dollar
A glass of Stella Rosa please
more like, anyone who buys these wines are the ten worst people in the world
Anybody from new zealand(south auckland) whos friends would share a casket called country wine? 😂😂😂 that stuff made you ride the horsey all the way to the holding cells 😂
So if you open a penfold's ampoule, do you have to share the wine to the attendees?
Number 6 sounds 😋
Most of these wines will never be drunk. Uh, i'm so inspired now...
they're probably all past their prime by now and would taste like sadness after all the money spent lol
Have anyone noticed that amidst all the bottles of wines for sale in the store I can’t find at least one bottle of grape juice anywhere?!?!?!?
The cheapest bottle here is more expensive than my flat
wow, really beautiful but so expensive
Okay i’m boutta collect wines so my future grandchildren can become a billionaire
1.5 Lt 10Tl (2 dolar), 3 Lt 23Tl (5dolar)
I love a good Italian Chianti, Valpolicella, Ripasso or Amarone. $20 - 28.00 Canadian. Excellent wine. We will go all out once in a while and get a Brunello in the $60 range. They are all taste fantastic. Billionaires gotta spend their money on something I guess. My wife's boss took us to Vegas and of course he brought his own wine specially flown in from France. Meh, tasted OK. I did not jump up and down, he was shocked. It is all a game to the elites at all level. Buy, drink and enjoy what pleases you. They are just grapes!!!
Glad I kept my 2010 wine in my cupboard since my wife left me, still need centuries to be expensive tho
A list on "Most Expensive Wines" is to be measured on the price per glass, not the price of the entire bottle.
