You might be on to something... Like "hot ones" where the pain gets people out of their element... Getting a buzz will also. Fine tune this... Gold!
These glasses look more like Riedel Winewings to me, unless Zwiesel makes a similar glass. Either way, this link is definitely for the wrong glass.

I enjoyed this, but what would be truly brilliant would be if André didn't know the selection as well. Then they could really have a strong discussion and see how the host racks up to the guests.

André’s content is honestly what got me back to watching bon appétit after last years fiasco. He just doesn’t fail, he’s got the knowledge and the charisma for the camera. Love this format and the change of pace for the channel

Format suggestion: Rather than revealing them as you go, have it be blind to both Andre and the guest, they each guess a price for the wine (still at the 5 tiers) and lock it in. After a tasting and guessing all 5, they reveal each wine and score the number of dollars off for each guess. Low score 'wins'.

Drunk Ones is Hot Ones for celebrities that can't handle hot sauce :D
This is good in its own way but the output is vastly different. With Hot Ones, celebs are broken and vulnerable. Cold Ones is more similar to that than this if you're looking for an alcohol centric show and has the benefit of being funny as well.

It’s not about being able to pick out grapes or wines blind, but understanding what you enjoy and articulating that. Anyone can do it.

Love this collaboration and hopefully ongoing series with celebrities. Andre Mack is my favorite sommelier! His reviews and education make wine accessible and less intimidating to people who aren’t connoisseurs

As a homebrewer and a person who's worked in the wine industry, I've been waiting on this type of "Hot Ones"-style show! I love when people who aren't necessarily wine "experts" get to try wines with people that are familiar. It's super fun to me to try to get people to get creative with their wine tasting and what they can taste/smell - especially when they're not used to looking for things like blackberries, leather, French oak, and tobacco.
I would love if Andre had done more to coax notes out of Kevin before offering his input. I totally understand the sommelier urge to feed people a couple easy flavors to get them thinking, but then the format of the show meant the conversation moved on.

Impressed by Kevin’s guesses. He didn’t get the prices right but that’s virtually impossible. But he was in the general area on every wine and would’ve ranked them 1-5 pretty accurately.
André has been a great addition to Bon Appétit. I didn't think BA would survive after losing most of the last crew but I never miss Chris or André.

I was attending college and working as a server in Beverly Hills when I first learned about wine. The sommelier was a sterotype, pedantic, high-brow, and pompous. Had he been down-to-earth like Andre, I surely would've retained that knowledge.
Being pompous and fine wine is synonymous. Cheap wine, you can be whatever you want.

This is a new Hot Ones, people. This sommelier, who I'm sure has mentioned his name but I never pay attention lol, is ready for super stardom. This series will be what saves the BA UA-cam channel's life.
Sean Evans this host is not. This host needs to make less of this about him and him being a sommolier and him getting notes of pepper. You can also tell he doesn't write the questions. He doesn't have the genuine curiousity and interest in his guest that Sean does and it shows.

I'm gonna be honest, I never realized Kevin Hart was so passionate and committed to the craft of acting. It doesn't really come across when he's doing the wacky comedy roles, but the guy knows his stuff. I'll have to check out some of his dramas.
Once I saw Andre Mack I was all in. Please make this the hot ones of wine.

I love how 2/3 of the way through he just stopped trying to be funny and just became interested, receptive and still was just naturally funny. It was so interesting to watch that happen and then you were totally on Kevin's side when he made assumptions or tried to really communicate how he felt about the wines. Great way to host.

Would love this as a series with many celebrities... like hot ones but wine
I really like this concept and this episode. I would recommend lining up all 5 wines and having the participant rank them, and then see how well they did. That way they aren't just making a guess before tasting the better, or worse, wine.

Excited for this show! Stick to questions about wine. Kevin lit up when we spoke about wines. it seemed that the conversation moved more freely when both of you talked about wines, the history and the personal value of wines.
My favorite wine finding trick for Old World wines is to look at the artisans responsible for producing the most famous and expensive wines in their region and then find what wines they produce for their daily drinkers

I enjoyed this wine twist on Hot Ones. I do agree with some other people saying that it would probably be better if you had the guest taste all of them and then ranked them. Granted the need to take notes or somesuch so they don't forget might break the flow of the interview... but on the whole, I'd continue watching this series.

Gotta have Ed Sheeran on this. He collects wine bottles as a physical manifestation of memories. He shares the bottle with a special person or people and writes a brief description describing the setting of the occasion. Surely he knows his wine.
It's so great how suggestion works. I was sampling a craft beer with some friends and one of them said "anyone else taste Cheetos?". Everyone lifted their head up and glared like "you son of a b!tch!"
I have tasted strong doritos in a beer before and asked everyone around me to try and see if they tasted it too but no one was willing to or didn't want to agree with me, made me feel like I was a weirdo or something.
This was hysterical!!! And Andre is always fantastic to watch!!
