I really enjoyed Tim's Reservations! It's also reassuring that Kirby is into his new home. I bet if we did something like that for our cats, they would show zero interest! Nice to see it all coming together now, can't wait to see next weeks progress!
I love the color! It will add such a cozy and sophisticated vibe to the space! Shoutout to the Akuabas in the window and Tim taking over the show for a bit :)
That center section will definitely need support like on the sides if you're planning on putting anything on there. Just under its own weight you can see it sag. Even if you put something light on it it'll creep (sag further) over time.
I can relate with you having to skim coat walls to get them smoother/flatter. Saw dust and wood glue is a tried and true method; well done. 25% off paint is a good deal. Good job sanding Tim 👍. That was a good decision to go ahead and paint the side walls. Both of you are very brave priming and painting that last little bit on the cabinet without a drop cloth covering your area rug. I like your choice of a bold color. Future skills worth learning are scribing wood to fit the wall, and rolling straight up and down when painting the wall (re-watch the footage of yourself painting the wall; you were all over the place). That wall would have only taken you about 3 minutes if you roll straight up and down while working left to right. When you are in a tight spot with your back against furniture (or painting a hallway) and you are trying to roll a wall, switch to a shorter 2 foot paint pole. As always I find the both of you very entertaining. Keep up the good work and thanks for sharing.
🤔 that’s so weird. I’ve had another person comment that too, but when I go in and edit and when I watch it on UA-cam it sounds fine. I wonder if it’s an issue with certain devices? Something must be wrong. I’m investigating this.

Hahah the cats are definitely harder to please. Tim is about to take over this show if I’m not careful!
quickly becomming one of my favorite youtube channels! always good to see you two.
That’s so sweet of you. Thank you for your support!
Tim is fn hilarious. I truly enjoy these videos!

True true! We ended up putting a beam across the top so it’s supported all the way around
The color looks pretty intense. I trust your vision though. Excited for the next episodes!
Thank you! It’s very bold but I’m so excited to tie it into the rest of the space :)

Thank you very much for sharing! I’ll have to look up scribing wood.
Hopefully the volume gets better

Its like a christmas tree puked on your wall. xD BTW you should edge band your plywood so you don't see the plywood layers.
Edge banding 👍
Hahahah! It totally is. I didn’t even think of edge banding it. Forgot that that existed. Thanks for the reminder!
