Glad you made it home, Russ! Yes, the fires and smoke in the northwest was awful for a few days, then the rains came and, for the most part, cleared it out of the Willamette Valley. I thoroughly enjoyed "tagging along" with you on your 2020 virtual vacation. A number of the roads you traveled and places you saw are parts of the country I have visited in the past few years. It was fun to go back and "revisit" those places via your videos. I'm looking forward to hearing about some your upcoming travel plans. Stay safe and as you always say "talk soon!!"

It feels odd to say welcome back, I spent two weeks in QZ in 2017. Back in 1969 I did seven months at Ft. Huachuca right after an 18 month stay in Vietnam. Every weekend we could get a pass, couple of buddies and I went somewhere new. We put 14,000 miles on my old Rambler in four months.Arizona is a fascinating place. I love it almost as much as Washington. Drive careful Russ, and stay safe. Maybe we can have coffee in a couple of years in the desert at QZ.

Great video tour! Thank you! I lived in Phoenix for 32 years but moved to WA in 1979. I have passed Quartzsite so many times, I can't count and I know RVers live there in the winter. I was thinking about coming down this year. I have an RV in the little town of Randle WA between Mt. Rainier and Mt. St. Helens. It is gorgeous here in the summer but the winter is wet and gloomy and I want to get outside this winter to walk. I'll do Christmas here with my family then maybe head out the 1st of January. Thanks for showing me how Quartzsite looks now. It has grown up a lot since I was there last.

We camped in Quartzsite for a couple of weeks in November 2015. We come down 95 from Parker dam and I remember my wife pointing out the Quartzsite city limits sign, so I slowed down thinking we would be in town in a couple of minutes, but drove another 9 or 10 miles before we got there.

What a glorious trip that was virtually. Thank you Russ for taking us along. You are keeping us sane in some sweet way...hands across the borders....We are glad to see you safe and sound back in Quartsite. That smoke was terrible up here for a while, it is settling down now. It is so good to see Quartsite with you today. For some reason we both felt a sigh of relief when you got back home. What worry warts eh? You take care our friend, and keep us updated. Say hi to Rane for us at the Chamber of Commerce. Keep on rolling Russ, and please take care of yourself. We are watching like an Eagle...as we don't want anything to happen to our friends. Oh yes. on you-tube, watch this show about the virus: Loose Women; virologist Dr. Li - Meng Yan claims covid 19 virus lab "cover up" made her flee China. So you all be really careful down there. Make sure and stay distant until we find out that sequence for sure. Montagnier still stands by his sequences of HIV and Malaria so be careful....Big Wave Russ. Thinking of you all down in Quartsite with care and friendship...Keep keeping us sane....LOLBy the way our numbers are going up fast right now....We just passed a 150,000 cases, and really for our small population not good. We are only 39 million people. So our numbers are high. I will speak later to you Russ. Keep safe, stay distanced, and we are thinking of you all...Carolyn and Colin Hogarth Osoyoos BC Canada.

Aren't the K and B yellow tanks where that little coffee drive through you use every now and then is located? Couldn't see the setup and was wondering if it was gone.

It's strange you can't find any of those large cacti in Blythe which is just across the river.

Great to see you made it back, that was some trip! Do you have anything planned for the Autumn/Winter, maybe Nevada?

Really enjoyed your summer trip videos, getting bored with Quartzsite, small town not much to do, I think this year we going to explore other options around Arizona. Have no desire to attend another RTR, been twice that was enough and really haven't heard much from Bob Wells, so maybe no RTR this year.....

Hi Russ. If you have room in your fall and winter schedule could you do some videos on the southeast and the eastern areas of Az. From tombstone up through the White mountains and the towns around the Rim area.

I would have stayed away till the temp. dropped. I live in Glendale Az and it sucks. Can't wait to leave and go to higher ground, lower temp. and a very small town permanently.
