I missed the days when there weren't as many people, nowadays it's like living in a city, almost. I'm mean, heck, Walmart always finds a way to be nearby. Sorry to be a crumungin, but I long for the days of solitude which was my reason to be out in the desert in the first place.
I passed through there last Friday and was stunned at how many campers were out there. Which made me glad I wasn't stopping, I kinda understand the attraction, but I boondock to get away from people, not be in a mini-metropolis.
Didn't you see all the wide-open spaces? If you go far enough out you can be 1/2 mile from your nearest neighbor. Then if you want some company you can go back into the areas where more people are. Where else can you find such solitude among so many people?
@@distilledfreedom1840 summer type weather. I’m there right now. Overnight temps are dropping to mid 20’s-30’s Fahrenheit this weekend. Summer north of the Arctic circle maybe. Not to mention that dust storm yesterday that coated everything in a quarter inch of dust and sand. Next winter I’m going further south. Prolly Mexico.
Numbers were way up from any of the previous years I've been coming here. La posa north looked a little light this year but most everywhere else was crowded. Hope everyone had a good time this winter.
High end rigs...You see it all. All types of rigs. Alot of unique styles. LTVA'S is a good choice. Truly there is a variety of choices for whatever you are looking for. Thank for taking us along Russ.
Thank you for another great video of camping in Quartzsite. Does not look too crowded and weather looks nice. Next on my list of places to stay. Take care and safe travels. Dave.
Hey Russ. Great video as usual. That horseshoe group of RV's was Next Exit's rally - Bob and Pearl's group. You'd like their web site. They're just regular folks.
Of all the videos you post on YT I must say the ones around Quartzsite are my favorite. This place seems to be magical. Thanks Russ. RVer TV is the greatest and so are you !
Great Video as always.....we took a ride thru Imperial Dam area and Senator's Wash long term....yikes packed like sardines....not for us for sure. If you come into Yuma, be sure and check out Dirty South BBQ on the outskirts on 95....awesome food, brisket is the best!
11:32 - the more i see those huge class A vehicles, the more I want a class C or C+ with NO slides. I want simple and easy, and everyone i speak to tells me those A level ones aren't that easy (i am told that you DO get used to them, and it helps if you are travelling as a couple...but i will be solo)
Good Videos, dont know if this is the one you mentioned shopping in Parker.. or going to Blythe .. i know Parker is closer but did you notice the extra sales tax in Parker??? at WalMart? its 15.2% !!! Havasu is 7.6% and Blythe 8.75% ... i wont buy anything in (retail) Parker... FYI
Heart surgery prevented us from being in Quartzsite this year but perhaps next year? Thanks Russ for RVer TV! I first noticed your rig in 2015 as I ventured back east from Reno, where I had picked up a new to me rig and ventured by Quartzsite to see what all the fuss was about. I have been a fan of RVer TV and Quartzsite ever since. Best wishes!
Thank you Russ, another great video exploring. I was wondering do you ever meet up with some of the people who come down? I mean, many of them must know about you.
Russ...thanks for the videos. I just finished a cargo trailer conversion and always thought about Quartzsite...after seeing this video, I'm confused why anyone would want to be in the middle of a desert being surrounded by blowing dust and traffic jams. I'm in Las Vegas...we've got some really nice getaway spots here.....don't tell your viewers!....lol
Your videos are SO great and informative !! You know your stuff and if you gave daily tours , you’d never have a minute to yourself !! Wow ! Awesome and enjoy every minute Thank you kindly Sir !! Your videos are the BEST … none can compare ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Heading back to the Owens Valley Calif. a month early this year it's still cold at night but the days are getting tolerable kind of what December was up here. Safe travels I'll still be watching.
Thanks for making this video. I was in Quartzsite last year in March trying to find the UA-camrs. I didn't know about the Dome Rock Mountain area. Guess I'll have to make another trip to check it out.
Thanks for the great drone video. By the way, I want to thank you for the drone video of Warrenton,Oregon. I lived there as a kid in an adult and seeing s. jetty and the Columbia river from the drone was amazing ! I have never seen it from the bird's eye view before ,thanks again
Warrenton is still more or less the same just with more year round traffic. Guess that can be said about everywhere. Costco a new Wamart and a Home Depot are combined into one area which makes it nice. Freddy's is still there but they enlarged it. So you can say its grown but not that bad. Oh well.
@@kingcraven8056 Yes I remember when that Fred Meyer was a big pasture and my grandparents house was right behind there. It has changed a little bit .Astoria still looks the same to me.

Hi Russ, really enjoy your videos. Hey when you head to Yuma, would it be possible for you to give us a tour of the American Girl Mine Road Dispersed camping area. Looks like a good spot to boondock. Thanks
Snow Apocalypse here in central Ohio Russ!! The Weather Guessers have been sayin 1-3 inches maybe 12-18 inches starting Thursday thru Friday.. .. time will tell!
Thanks Russ for documenting the areas each year. Looks more normal now. Your videos from a few years ago when the mountain of garbage piled up was concerning. I bet you are looking forward to a Road Trip soon except for the fuel prices!
Yeah, fuel is getting way too high to stay on the road. I'm parked in Houston for the time being. A ratty little park, but the rents cheap. Gas here is at $3.20 on average as of writing this, but it's still on the rise. Inflation is taking a bite out of travel plans too.

Also how warm is it Feb./March? That little buggy of yours looks fun and off road worthy! All of this video helps fill in the blanks for me. A visual with the names now!
I didn’t see the small fiberglass trailer groups: Casitas, Scamps, Bolers, Escape, Big Foot, etc. They usually camp together. Did you see them this year?
I have a 45 foot three axel diesel pusher motorcoach. Will I have any trouble accessing a good boondocking spot and where would you suggest parking this monster?
Silly Al's is my go-to place in the Summer, or when it's not crowded wall to wall. I'd love to hear about a new Pizza Joint. How about a review and are they going to try to stay open all Summer?
Same here, I need to check out the new pizza place. I've been living here 5 years now! I love the hot summers when it's a ghost town, the winter crowds are a pain 😂 but I do love it here. Silly Al's has good grub but another choice for pizza 🍕 sounds great!
Hello Russ, Thanks for your good Videos on Quartzite. Looking to purchase a Class B like yours and trialier my ATV. Any good deals that you know of out their?
A dollar a day for LTVA. Where else can you stay for that price and not have to move every 2 weeks? You can be far enough away from your nearest neighbor or be in a group. It's your choice. Or you can have both!
Hello I'm thinking about coming out there in about 4 or 5 days in my van and I've never been out towards courtside BLM. I'm full-time and wondering when the hottest or when it begins to be like 90° out there? I also want to park as far away from people as possible because I'm a musician and I have a guitar amp, where do you recommend? Thank you.
Everytime I hear Russ say "Check It Out"...makes me smile
