This video was worth it just for the info about how hard the water is at the LTVAs.
Main reason for the lack of people is, no Canadians, I think they make up about a third of the crowd. We hope everything will be back to normal next fall. So far we have had about 3 feet of snow in the north Okanagan in British Columbia. First time we wintered at home in over 25 years.
Hey! We are on Vancouver Island, wanna go to back to USA. Did a big 33 state trip 2019, a full loop😍, but were facinated with Arizona, would like the experience of Quartsite. What is the ettiquite of camping there, how far apart do you roll up on someone? Is there a BC group or anything like that?🤷♀️
John, I never realized how much Canadian plates headed south on I-15 was a ritual signifying the Fall season, until this past year. In Eastern Idaho, the majority of the plates passing through are from Alberta, although we sometimes see BC and Saskatchewan. Yes, it dawned on me that a whole lot of Canadians are feeling the full brunt of Winter for the first time in years, even decades. Hopefully, this year will find Covid in the rear view mirror and we can welcome our Canadian friends once again. Cheers!
Howdy Russ. I’m here. Stop in for a cup of coffee; except I’m using that LTVA water. Saturday, I’ve got to go over there to dump my tanks. I did break down and put in portable solar Tuesday.

Wait a second, I didn’t hear the number of Boondockers in Quartzsite! Did I miss it watching it twice?
Happy New Year....another great video! We also prefer the peace and quiet of Plomosa Rd, less people and much quieter. Q is nice to visit but not our idea of a place we'd like to spend our winter we've opted for Foothills in Yuma where one can rent a private lot with full hookups in a residential area and have access to both the desert and the mountains for sxs riding and still close enough to Q to visit. Not my idea of fun waiting in line to dump or get water!
Way back in the 60's, in the boy scouts, we camped under the stars in desert outside of Las Vegas. Amazing view!!

I spent a couple weeks down there in 2013 , 15 miles from the pavement on BLM land . I found about two dollars worth of gold but what an experience ! Moved out west a couple years later and life was never as good on the east coast

I don’t even recognize Q anymore. My grandparents used to winter there in the 70s and 80s. They had an airstream and stayed at Desert Sunset trailer park. Grandpa was the shop foreman at the rock shop. Ham and Doris Mickel. I would visit from March AFB.
