I like how the bride had a big budget, but the consultant still disregarded the budget with the first dress. "It's only a little over budget" $3,800 is not a little.
Seriously Lisa??? They say with pride and joy that they have such a big budget thanks to their parents, so you can see it's a big deal for them, and you ask if it can be higher???? HOW RUDE.
If the bride had chosen that first dress… The mother should have said to Lisa, “ Great job! Now please sell me THIS dress (that you’ve encouraged my daughter to fall in love with), at the budget that “initially” advised that I could afford!” They MUST work on commission! 🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️
Lisa was more interested in upselling and her commission than she was about finding something within the bride's budget that she (the bride) would love. Lisa's face when it came out that mom shopped coupons! That one line alone let Lisa know she F'd up & mom was no fool. 😂
Are you kidding me? A budget of $10,000 (holy ___!) and the consultant pulls a dress that is nearly 40% ($3,800) above that! And Kleinfeld's carries ~1,700 gowns, likely 1,650 of which are under $10,000. SHAME on her!
I wonder if in the conversation she had with the consultant previously the bride was thinking she was paying for the dress and said there was some room for something she loved. The bride did say that her parents surprised her recently that they were paying for the dress. And Lisa looked uncomfortable in front of the Mom when the bride was showing the dress.
Um, there are more than 50 dresses that are more than 10k lol. I want to say at least 500 are more than 10k. You’re forgetting that a lot of of Pnina dresses are more than 10k.
Kenzie and Justin got married April 8th 2023 and she added the sleeve to her dress. Their son was page boy/ groomsman. I'm guessing he's about 8 or 9 and she has a 4 month old son now too.
Why would you say that? “I went right to the limit.” Whether they have money or not. You shouldn’t go past or right too unless they don’t have much options. That $4,000 dress is stunning!
This bride and her family are what it should be like while dress shopping. Supportive, happy and not nitpicking everything. Lisa, girl! Never go over their budget! The $4000 dress looked 100% better than the overpriced one.
How utterly disrespectful to start with a dress $3,000+ over budget for the first dress. And then to next show one at 40% of the maximum budget that everyone swooned over. I watch this show when my brain needs a rest but this one was not restful
Kenzie, you look beautiful in that wedding gown and really it’s like two dresses in one you can take that overlay skirt off for your reception and be able to move around. You are absolutely one beautiful young woman. 🥰🐾
I think if you go to Klinefeild, use reverse phsycology! Tell them low budget and work your way up! Everytime they ask whats the budget, they go stright to that amount and skip all the dresses that could also be contenders that are lower.
I don't think it's all that shocking that they would go over the budget. That's how they're trained. They want to make as much money as possible. What I find shocking is how much money people are willing to pay for a dress they'll only wear once. I know it's for a special day, but it's just so excessive.
As helpful and nice as the consultants are they pull out expensive dresses to make the sell and hope the bride falls in love with it. I believe they make a commission on it, the more expensive the better
My words exactly...Diane was a disappointment going above budget (commission driven). Certainly, professionally, knows to gather dresses starting @ 6k-7k give the cost of Alterations & Veil. If you want to really/ sincerely please bride & whoever is paying for the dress .The 2nd dress looked stunning & meet her expectations. Loved the support & fun attitudes.
Why the consultant showed her a dress out of her budget as the first dress 😂 I mean they are rich but there’s a budget though. It feels greedy of them. But oh well…the client is rich so you do you I guess.
I don’t think they are rich. Upper middle class. If my daughter was getting married, I would give her an amount of between $5,000 and $7,500. We aren’t rich. Just comfortable.
Love both dresses! I think Murad is my fav wedding dress designer! I especially love the second one! I had something customised like that but I didn't like the fabric so I ditched it for another dress which I also liked but her second dress is what I had pictured 😢😢😢 glad she got to wear it though. She looked so happy!
If the gown was $4,000 plus over a $10,000. You need to respect that. Generally speaking brides in that price range don’t need to worry about $$$. I saw a bride’s mother say that money is not discussed in public. The show was named $50,000 for a wedding gown. It was filmed in England. It showed a few episodes from the gown to the reception. I really enjoyed the show. They have clients world wide. From Europe to the Middle East. One girl had 2 gowns made. It really shows you how 1/4 of the world lives.
How do you compare anything to Zuhair Murah. He is one of the masters of couture fashion. He makes so many of the Lebanese brides you see on you tube. But, I think it would have been a stretch for the parents. So, this is better. But,, no one compares to Murah.
Why everyone is talking about the budget, I mean weeding is once a life time ,so we put everything on it , n moreover she is in that budget because she can afford it, she look gorgeous and so happy, let us just be happy for her ❤
Lets remember that these sales consultants work on commission and sometimes in order to meet clients expectations you have to pick something outside of the budget..it's on the bride what she chooses to spend..in this case she was fortunate to find something under budget that she was happy with and she was a vision ❤
The bride wasn’t convinced she didn’t like it. She didn’t like it at all. She said she did, but she didn’t. She doesn’t know what she wants. But that’s not the dress. None of those dresses they put her in was the dress dress.
I have watched SYTTD from the very beginning of the series. The #1 rule was always that brides shouldn’t try on dresses over their budgets! Yet what does this consultant do but pull a dress ‘a little’ over the extremely generous $10,000 budget. Sure, almost $4000 over is just a little over the budget😂
I like how the bride had a big budget, but the consultant still disregarded the budget with the first dress. "It's only a little over budget" $3,800 is not a little.
Yes, a little is like $200 or $300 not $3,800. These consultants are very greedy.
@@TrinhNguyen-sh4fjher budget was $10k and the dress was $13,800 2:27
Lisa ( consultant) can be a little pushy at times. Just my opinion
@@hannahiamkui1826I know which is why I said over is like 2 or 3 hundred at most but they bought out a dress $3800 over the budget.
Es una vergüenza que con semejante presupuesto vayan aún más lejos😢
Consultant: I pulled things over budget because “I don’t wanna rob you. . .” Interesting choice of words!
😂
Seriously Lisa??? They say with pride and joy that they have such a big budget thanks to their parents, so you can see it's a big deal for them, and you ask if it can be higher???? HOW RUDE.

The bride's mom looked gorgeous! I couldn't take my eyes off of her. Her style is so classy!
Same she is gorgeous!!
This bride seems to have a very pleasant and vibrant personality. She is gorgeous.
I just must say, I LOVE her mother's hair!!
Yes!! I thought the same thing!
I love the consultant's, "oh shi-" moment when she realized she tried to go over budget on a coupon clipper.
That part!

I'd rather put $10,000 towards my home than spend it on a dress
I don’t think money is an object for them.
If these people are spending that much on a dress they better already have a home
That's yours
People who spend $10,000 and over don’t have a budget. That’s why never spend what is a stretch for you or your parents.
My entire wedding cost 10,000. It's just crazy to spend 1000s on dress for a few hours wear. I don't care how rich you are. It's just s waste
SYTTD needs to RESPECT their client’s budgets!!
She looked stunning in the dress she chose, and it was way under budget!

Okay, I guess I do want a wedding, just something small and intimate. Nothing expensive, like the entire thing shouldn’t cost more than $10k
