"Dad never cries, I dont understand what is going on. "
"Well, it might be about the money." 😂
Classic sister
I laughed when she said that!
My goodness! To look THAT stunning in a dress and then have Dad thanking you for letting him be a part of it all....how can you get any better than that?! You have such a lovely family!
Dad: "Dammit!"😂😂😂
I laughed
I preferred the first dress, but the important thing is that she loved the dress she chose and felt beautiful in it.
Me too. The neckline was stunning, the simple a line was beautiful for her figure, and the little bows on the back were just enough for interest. But the last one was ok too. Frankly I think that she could have picked any one of them. But the one she picked was over her budget 🤔.
💯 I liked the first better. The bow and the 3rd dress looked a bit tacky.
It looked like my dream dress from 1990. Still totally in love with the style.
I mean it was not worth the money at all. Its a very simple vogue pattern dress for that money you would want handmade lace and wild pearls or gold thréad or something. Its just a ridiculous price for what it is.
I loved the 2nd dress❤
That 8200 dress is gorgeous on her but yeah that price tag is too much.
As someone who sews (not that I would want to attempt a wedding dress) I am sort of surprised by the cost of this dress. I would think it would be more in the $4,000 range. It is not difficult construction.
@@penelope5500 it might be because of material.
You're also paying for the designer label in that dress. Reem Acra is a high fashion label. But I'm also guessing a big part of the cost is the material.
@@agentsculder2451No, the labor is the highest cost along with the brand name.
I don't think that fabric is of much quality, at least it can wrinkle easily@@jeswainston
First is best. It flattered her and the contrast in style between the dress and her tats made the tats stand out beautifully.
The tattoos are awful, they'd make any dress look cheap and nasty.
@@Su-ri5obCouldn't agree more. What on Earth possessed her to spend money on such cheap and crappy 'art'?
The first dress was beautiful, but not necessarily on her. She had no shape in the dress being on the smaller busted side. Maybe if she had worn a little enhancement in the bust line it would’ve fit her better.
Dad said he felt that $6000 was his top price. I think it is unfair of a child to expect her dad to pay more than what the father felt was his top price. The bride should have paid the $2000 difference. It is a dress that is only worn once. This bride will need to learn to live within her means. Marriages fall apart when couples do not live within their means. Parents need to teach their children fiscal responsibility. They will be happier learning to live within their means. Study hard, learn to work hard and not spend money on frivolous things. Simple things can be fun too!
Yes. She could have paid for it herself if she hadn't destroyed her skin and her lymph system with truly ugly cheap tattoos.
Nice looking Family
Do you think money was most important to her father at that time? He cried when he saw his daughter in her wedding dress. Believe me, in this life, not only money is important.
@@AleCrs888 Yes, but daughters should not take advantage of their parents' emotion. I know how hard my parents have always worked and I would never allow myself to ask them for further sacrifices... it's called respect...
@@Tally-visionher tattoos are cute af
Yes, the bejeweled bows were pretty and unique, but the bustline just looked droopy and unstructured. IMO, the first dress looked much classier and fitted her better. For the price tag, maybe they could have bought the first dress and had a seamstress add a bedazzled bow?
I totally agree. The first one looked the best on her, and she came in thinking that she wanted a dress without bling. I don't think she needed it.
Or a sparkly veil.
These are sample sizes and will be altered
I loved the first dress! She looked like Snow White!
That bow was just childish. The first dreess was perfect, but it is just me.
I love this family. They are genuine and full of love.
Beautiful bride with a beautiful family. I think the 1st dress looked the best on her, but all 3 are lovely on her.
Her dress look so simple but elegant and touch of sweetheart vibes .
Her Dad is amazing…seeing him emotional….tears!!!!
He was so funny!
I loved the first dress! It was classic and elegant.
All 3 dresses were sensational! Nice to see simple, clean lines. Very sophisticated looks.
FINALLY a bride with my taste!! These dresses are gorgeous.
same here!!
Not my taste as I like it more fancy. These were too plain yet so expensive.
Right! Seems like always the same boring style every episode. I personally couldn't pull this dress off but it's gotta be one of my favorites! So pretty!
@@TrinhNguyen-sh4fj agreed. They were just.....there. Nothing to look special, just...meh.
this is because of him
All three dresses were beautiful on her. She wouldn't have made the wrong decision no matter which one she chose.
true
It’s hard to understand why such a plain dress costs more than $8,000 to begin with. She could’ve gotten something similar for less than half the price elsewhere.
I agree and my friend had a very plain dress that was only $100 and it was very nice.
True, but your paying for the designer and also the store, if she had gone to a smaller less recognised shop and brought one that wasn't by a higher designer then it would have been a fraction of the price (some of the less noticeable designers do amazing dresses at a fraction of the cost)
Because people will pay. They literally sell rubbish bags for 800 dollars to idiots with money. All those dresses were maybe 800 dollars worth of fabric and labour.
I hope it comes with her makeup done by Angelina Jolie. 😂
The photo shows it on a runway 😮
I wish I had a sweetheart dad like that, he loves her so much!
The dress was definitely made for her!!! ❤️
I never did have the wedding dress or dream wedding. What hurts the most is my precious beloved father never had his day of walking me down the aisle.
Sorry Dad.
Seeing this beautiful bride and such a loving kind father brought feelings that I never acknowledged deep within me. How lucky and blessed she is. Wishing you and your future husband every happiness in your life together ❤️
Love and blessings to you all xxx
I am the only daughter but my dad passed early so my uncle or one of my older brothers has to walk me down the aisle when I marry.
Best appointment ever. What an all-round beautiful family ❤
I loved all the dresses but the last one was one of my favorite dresses. She had the perfect shape for it
I loved the first dress! Definite Jackie Kennedy vibes, but the bride chose the perfect dress for her.
I remember this bride, she choose one of the most beautiful dresses I have seen.
If you pick something more than the budget given then the bride needs to pay the difference
I totally agree. She looks like she's old enough to have a career, so there should be no reason why she can't chip in to pay for something that only she is going to wear. Once.
Great idea and practical. It did not look better for $3,000. More
I agree and if the bride really wants something and it is too expensive, then she needs to chip in.
Yes! Thats what my daughter did. We had a budget and her dress was over. No stress involved in dress shopping because we had this discussion and budget was set.
Yes, that is how it should be. Sad to see that she didn't even offer to pay the difference.
ok I have a new favorite dress!!! It is STUNNING and timeless and omg the bride is adorable!! Her face when she said her fiance's name 😍🥰😍
This is sooo cute. The bride is just radiating with happiness! She lights up the room. 🥺🤍
I love her Sister’s reaction jumping up and down with joy and excitement, that is priceless! ❤
What a nice family.its nice to not see alot of drama.
This was a lovely episode. The whole.famiky loving her, dad accepting that WOW price tag, and just how happy she was. 🥰
$2,200 more for that silly bow?! Just put a silver bow on one of the other less expensive dresses. Geeeez!
If she was smart and good with money she wouldn't have all those cheap and gross tattoos.
@@Tally-visionwhat is your deal with her tattoos, youre on like every comment i see, it was her choice to get them and its not up to you whether you like her decision or not.
What does her choice of tattoos have anything to do with how good she is with money? @Tally-vision
@@lynnemargaret1112 fr, and its not like theyre related to her or even know her personally so its not their place to judge her choices
@@Tally-visionI personally don’t like tattoos too but each to their own. Tattoos are not cheap.
finally one with some sense of fashon and taste. First dress was really classy
Gosh, she looks like Snow White in this dress. I am expecting that other dress to look bomb on her, because this one made all her lovely features really stand out.
but the arms...
This felt like a perfect example of strong-arming. Dad said he didn't want to go above a specific price and was hesitant at that. Then the bride convinces the consultants to put her in a dress over $2K above that. This should not be cheered over by us watching. It's manipulation at its finest.
I kind of agree. She loved both of the other ones too. There is no reason to go over just to get the bling when she came in knowing that she didn't need it.
@@catladyfromky4142exactly - like what is stopping them from going to a fabric store and making their own bling? so stupid
@@catladyfromky4142well it didn’t help that her sister and dad weren’t too thrilled with the earlier choices. Frankly, I don’t care for any of them, but if I had to choose one, I’d pick the 2nd one.
@@QuirkyGirl10Honestly, they could’ve just added a blinged bow to the second dress and it would’ve been just fine. However, manipulation works best when it’s allowed.
My dad would never pay for a wedding dress for me but, if he did I would respect his price and if I wanted a dress that cost more I would pay for the rest of it myself.
I envy these women so much. All that love especially from their families.
Why people won't pay the difference above the sum the parents agreed to? They are adults who start their own family.
You might as well ask why they are not paying for their dress themselves at all.
If you can't pay for the whole package, don't have a fancy party.
You might as well ask why they are not paying for their dress themselves at all.
If you can't pay for the whole package, don't have a fancy party.
I'd be crying too if I were to pay $ 8.200 for a dress that is going to be worn for just a few hours. It's ridiculous.
but its GORGEOUS lol
A few hours, yes but arguably the most important day of a girl's life so if you are willing/able to afford it, why not?
@user-yx2do7mh8o and why is it the" most important day" of a girls life?
I think sister is going to have to wear it too at that price.
Seeing her fun personality, she'll probably find a way to wear it again.
What a lovely father, but I was partial to the first dress.
What a wonderful dad. I miss my dad so much.
Sending you hugs❤
@gooberbeans7972 thank you. For some reason this video hit me hard. You are appreciated.
@@sheryltaylor7181 totally understandable🤗
I wish I had a dad like that.
@@nate2759Me too as my dad was evil.
What a joyful soul Emily is! That first dress was stunning and the second dress was made for her personality to shine, but that third dress was perfection. Especially love the slow pan of her tattoos at the end, they all fit her personality perfectly.
Hope Emily and Logan had an amazing wedding, with dad crying as he walked her down the aisle
Her personality is vibrant enough to pull a simple wedding dress off. I love her personal style, especially her Olive Oyl shoes
My dad has been offering me lots of money as a gift to buy a new house, can't get myself to accept it. And some brides going over a set budget just for a one day dress. 🤔
To each its own. Everyone’s life doesn’t have to look the same.
If your Dad is offering you a gift and he can financially afford it, then accept it with grace and gratitude.
I love your independence, but accepting might make your dad so happy.
Buy the house. Unless there are lots of strings attached
@@LoriL010take the offer, best he sees you enjoy it now.
The dress she chose is stunning on her! The neckline flattered her small chest size, the strap placement was original and the poof was just perfect. Love it! She looked perfect!
Mine was a second hand dress cleaned and perfectly tailored to my body. My Mum bought it from a hospice charity then when I was done I donated it to a cancer charity. It made twice as much as Mum paid - result. AND I've been married for 36 years
Beautiful family moment. I love how they all were a part of this special moment. Such a loving, close family.
Just gorgeous! Fits her perfectly, classic elegance with a touch of sparkle. ✨
I love the sparkly bow.
This family is so special. Love them and how supportive and caring they are.
This gave me goosebumps. Such love in her family. ❤
I get that the dress is important to the wedding day, but $8200 for a dress that's going to be worn once for part of a day? I don't get it. Dad was put in an awkward position of not being able to say no. Brides - if your parent(s) are paying for the dress, be mindful and respectful of the price, knowing it's a gift from your parent(s) and don't take advantage of it.
The bride picked out 3 classy dresses. I love the glitzy bow on the one she chose!
She said "The second I got engaged, I have been counting down the days" and I thought the sentence was going to end with "to the wedding," but then she said "to go to Kleinfeld." 🙄
Lmao 😂
@@justcogitating She's an idiot.
I love her familyyyy ❤❤❤❤❤ such a caring and supportive of her . And know her very well ❤❤❤
What a wonderful DaD!❤
YES! He Is❤
The Dad is the best part of this episode. It must break his heart that she ruined her body with those ghastly cheap tattoos.
This was the most fun "Say Yes to the Dress" that I've ever seen. Such a quirky and amazing bride. And the family, the adorable father and brother, so great!!!
I have the exact same taste as this bride. She looked amazing. The first dress was probably my favorite. I love the simple elegance look, no tool, no bling, no lace.
Excellent. She’s breathtaking.
In an, "Oh, gag" sort of way.
That dress wouldve been so easy to duplicate with a much less expensive price. Maybe not with the blingy bow on front, but if shes carrying a bouquet, who would care.
Most people never care or pay attention to what the bride wears anyways.
What a wonderful and supportive family, she is so lucky!
Her chosen dress and that gorgeous veil was perfect!
There is so much love in this family. I never had that. What a wonderful family.
How much do you love this family? This is how a family should act in a bridal appt plus the Dad crying & saying that he didn't care how much the dress cost cuz it was perfect & made his daughter happy💜💜💜 the Dad!
The last bride was truly beautiful she seems so genuine and her family is everything. That dress is pure gold.
I remember seeing this episode years ago and it still lives rent free in my mind to this day. Happy too rewatch the episode again! Still think this is the best dress-to-bride match ever made in the history of SYTTD.
FINALLY an elegant dress that isn't a see-through, blinged-out, tacky Vegas disaster. So pretty.
I LOVED the first one on her!
The family is beautiful and (mostly) so so sweet! I was smiling throughout.
If I was shopping for dress I would want to go alone. I wouldn't want someone to tell me to pick a different dress just because THEY hate it. It's your wedding not theirs!
This was beautiful and Loved dad’s reaction
I loved the 2nd dress. It was so lovely on her.
This is a beautiful dress! And the bride is stunning in it. It’s like it was made for her. ❤
7:40 This bride is perfect in this oufit!
The first dress really is a great hit though. I love the style on her so so much.
One of the more beautiful and interesting dresses on this show. Just stunning in its simple lines and delicate embellishment. And the perfect bride for it.
This bride is adorable!
Not really.
She could have just added a damn bow!!
We all know they have dozens of them back there..... $$$$$
This is my ALLTIME FAVORITE DRESS I have EVER seen on this show!!!! Ghaaaaahhhh!!!
And it looks stunning on the bride!
LOVE IT! ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Sweetest family and the dress was PERFECT
The three dresses were beautiful. Although I believe she could have them done by a good seamstress for either a half or a third of the prices we saw.
That first dress was gorgeous
I liked the first dress, but it is not my dress! She loves it, the family loves it and dad is ok with the price and that is all that matters!
As soon as you see that dress it's like, "that's the dress." But for that amount of money maybe I would be looking for another, "that's the dress."
neckline on the first dress was gorgeous. very demure, like her mom said
Dad was so Sweet! "Thank you for letting me be a part of it." Keeper!
I actually think the first one was best. But the Acra one was a close second. The first one had a nice neckline, a simple silhouette, and the cute bows on the back. I think the neckline was superior to the square one she chose. But she still looked really beautiful.
I love these "plain" dresses that are more about structure and tailoring than frills and sequens. SO, so classy. The one she chose - as they said, it's perfect.
Such a cute girl and her parents are adorable too!!
Love the first dress!
Me too. It looked the best on her.
The first dress looked so lovely on her - such classic lines.
These simple dresses are stunning.... but why the high price tag on such simple styles? $8200?
I love what the brother said “ the tattoos are the bling” yesss it pops more ❤️
If you want an 8k dress, you pay for it or at least the difference. PATHETIC behaviour from the bride.
This is probably the best “Say Yes to the Dress” clip I’ve seen.
Yes, that’s a lot to pay for a dress but this family is a gem. I love how they all supported and loved her.
I want a dad like this guy. He obviously loves his daughter and wants her to be happy and doesn’t humiliate her. I borrowed $10 from my dad one day and had to pay it back the next. It’s always lovely to see girls who have a father who is so kind and loving wow, lucky lucky girl!
I don't like the 2nd dress. I also preferred the first over the second like the family.
The 2nd dress looked like she was wearing a tshirt.
She's beautiful
Too bad about the cheap tats
beautiful family with full of love
I think that first dress is utterly stunning on her. And her brother is right, Bling with that many tattoos, would be very busy. Detracting from that gorgeous, clean dress. I'm not finished yet, but it's hard to imagine her topping that one.
Edited: I still think the first dress. That neckline...so elegant. I'm a Reem Acra fan, but I think the first dress was so much more flattering.
Such great genes!!! Beautiful family ‼️❤️
I LOVED the first one on her! It was elegant with the vintage flair and showcased her instead of her showcasing a dress. For my taste that bling bow was too much! Her bold lip, how she wears her hair, the color of her hair (black), her tattoos are all BOLD. So the simplicity of the dress allowed her to shine through better. She still will be beautiful. It's not an ugly dress, her pick, but lol. Still a first dress fan.
6:14 demure💀
As a woman who has no parents since childhood, I cannot imagine pushing someone I love to spend more $$$ than they generously offered.
