I wore a dress on my 16th birthday bc we were going to my aunt's wedding and my brother straight up looked at me and went "You look horrible in that dress" and he was being 100% serious too. I cried because of a 12 year old that morning lol. . .he's 14 now and he still feels the need to comment on my outfit choices despite the fact that he can't even match his clothes. He's always like "Fancy dresses don't suit you. You look a lot better in casual outfits. ok I'm not going to lie, the title was a bit misleading in a way but man...what an amazing mother. when I heard she was sick I felt so awful, like my heart ached for her. she truly wanted to be there for her daughter. to experience this moment while she could. she didnt know if she was able to do it because of her condition but I am so glad she did. She is so kind and she was so overwhelmed with joy to see her in the perfect dress. I hope she is getting better. Any mother who truly cares for thier daughter is the best mother. my mother isn't there for me..but my grandmother is and she is the closest mother I'll ever have.

After aaaalllll those years of nagging that I needed to dress differently, do my hair differently, etc., Mama finally came around when she saw who I'd chosen. She wound up telling everyone that I waited until I met a man who would treat me as well as Daddy always treated her. And she was right. That's exactly what I did, and it was the smartest thing I ever did in my life. Now, after 27 years of marriage (I'm flippin' *old*), my stomach still turns a double back-flip when my sweetie smiles at me a certain way.

My mother in law is in the hospital and only has a few hours to a few days left because she has stage 4 cancer and her tumours have grown too big. Unfortunately she won’t be able to attend mine and my partners wedding so seeing this mum be able to make it to the dress try on is beautiful and heart warming, it brought me to tears. Don’t take your family for granted guys, you may have your ups and downs but love and appreciate anyone you have in your life (provided they didn’t do anything like abuse you or anything like that)

I’m also getting married on Lake Michigan, in 2022! This woman and her entire family are so genuinely sweet and supportive. I especially love when her little brother speaks up, to say she looks good. I have two younger brothers and there’s usually a lot of joking and sh*t talking but to hear a genuine compliment is so sweet!

This has to be one of my fave appointments of this whole series... I lost my 33 year old to cancer a few months ago... so I know that mother daughter bond... I had tears of joy that the mom was able to go with her amazing daughter to this event. It made me miss my mom so much. The bond that these two share was just incredible. My mom and I had a special bond as well. Unfortunately she passed away just as our bond was at its strongest. Girls hold your mom alittle tighter and tell her how much you love her and respect her. Once she's gone....she is gone forever❤❤
I honestly never understood the thing with families loving the dress after they put a veil on the bride but now I actually understand. Even tho she looked absolutely gorgeous in that dress I will say that the veil made it so much more perfect. She's beautiful 💜

The mother was just simply super excited to see her daughter in a dress. And i absolutely loved her every reaction for her daughter 's dress and it was so satisfying that both got their wish. Love that.
This is probably one of the most pure families and it’s so sweet and refreshing. To see a full family and especially a mother be nothing but excited and supportive is exactly what we need. I wish them so much health and happiness!! 💞

The title made me think I was going to hate the mother, but she and her family were absolutely lovely! She never stole the show - she was there for her daughter every step of the way, and was so sweet and supportive. Even when it came to the dress, she was happy to see her daughter in this specific style but accepting and understanding of the fact that it wasn't the one. I nearly cried; their relationship is lovely! Know this was posted a while ago, but I hope she and her family can enjoy a long, happy life together. ♥

“Sick mom steals the show”. Really? She was the most supportive mom I’ve ever seen on this show! She would have loved any dress her daughter chose. She didn’t steal her daughter’s spotlight, and judging by how she was, she would never want to steal her daughter’s joy.
She stole the show by being so supportive where a lot of mothers are so absolutely narcissistic

I had tears of joy that the mom was able to go with her amazing daughter to this event. It made me miss my mom so much. The bond that these two share was just incredible. My mom and I had a special bond as well. Unfortunately she passed away just as our bond was at its strongest. Girls hold your mom alittle tighter and tell her how much you love her and respect her. Once she's gone....she is gone forever❤❤

I honestly never understood the thing with families loving the dress after they put a veil on the bride but now I actually understand. Even tho she looked absolutely gorgeous in that dress I will say that the veil made it so much more perfect. She's beautiful 💜
