Update: They decided to remove the Free Camera from the update, after you get destroyed. Good thing IMO!

The update rolled out in NA and all I can say is:
The perk efficiency is a SCAM from wargaming!
There is no way to retrain your crew for a new tank with 100% perk efficiency without paying in gold!
In the old system, you lost 10% crew efficiency for retraining for credits, but you kept your perks, and then you could reset the perks for credits to gain 100% crew efficiency losing a fair percentage of efficiency in the current trained perk.
Now you lose 40% of ALL the perks if you retrain for credits, and there is no way to reach 100% without paying 200 gold for crew member (you cannot even use books or free exp WTF!), or being forced to play several games in a shit crew to acumulate the required exp to reach 100%.
Good luck going up in a light tank tech tree retraining your crew for credits only to be forced to play a light tank in a upper tier with only 60% of your cammo and view range perks.
I am fucking done with this game!
New Tour of Duty is complete mega shit. Rest of the items are good in general.
For all of you with old retired crew in barracks with more than 1 perk. Before the patch goes live. Reset your perks using the 80% selection. Then keep retraining the crew members in various tanks using the free 80%/60% option until you reduce the perks to 1 perk with less than 100%. This will allow you to convert those 100s of crew that have sat in your barracks for years into books. Otherwise, the only crews you will get books for will be those members that were hardly ever used. Yes, you will sacrifice a lot of xp those well trained members earned, but the xp books traded for them, albeit for a loss, will serve you far better than a crew member rotting in the barracks with his 5 perks and hasn’t been in a tank since he was replaced by a zero perk crew member long ago.
interesting point thx, i was here to find some advidce/trick like this one. I have to think about but probably i will go for it with crews betwin 1 and 2 perks
It came now in my mind that there is the possibility WG makes a test and maybe in the future they will expand this chance above 1 perk. So maybe is better to dont waste too much.
And other thing: it should be possible to do it even after the release of the patch right? Even if u can do it only one time...should be enough to wait to do it till when u decide and use yor trick imho

@@mishkinita7814 actually I just realized you need to do it before patch because there will be no way to reduce your xp and perks after patch due to there no longer being a 60%/80% training option to use to shrink down to just under 1 full perk of xp.
i don't care any more.
i've been playing so long that nothing they bring out interests me that much.
i just know they'll manage to fuck something up and spend an age trying to repair it, if they ever do.

I have been playing since November 2013... I feel you right there. I just want maps that arent a reskin of the same thing... city/impassable area, with a bit of open space either side....

I have an huge question why they keep destroy maps for snipeer tanks and tanks with no armor? and why they kill casual clans? by nerfing tour of duty and make it more complicated to obtain resources?
Games must be a fast brawl, WG decided. No time for strategy anymore

I like the crew changes. I'm not a fan of nerfing the sconq but rest of the tank changes I like. Map changes are decent. Screw onslaught 🤣. And I think the polish tds will be fun until you get prokorovka or mali, then you are pretty useless cus low alpha at range. All in all this SHOULD be a good update, let's see if it can come without bugs. Also I made a huge screwup. At the start of this year I already cleaned my barracks up manually cus I was running out of room 😭. So this conversion thing for me is next to useless 😭
I mean it is getting extremely annoying to face against SConq. Like there’s more to other tanks than just sticking with “good” or remotely “OP” tanks. Which I am for the nerf to the SConq.
@@killertruth186 I dont find it annoying at all. I actually have no problems fighting sconqs even when hull down. Sounds to me like skill issue with people thinking sconq is op.

wow wg nerfing tech tree tanks, how about wg stops the bs and fix the game for once, the major issues in this game, mm, maps, prem ammo, nerfing tech tree tanks becuase players play them. And wg buffs tanks that nobody playes because wg developers are just dumb, how about wg buffs, all the collectors tanks 62 a , amx 30 and 30bs. also 113.
wg developers just need to cut all prem ammo damage 50% for once then the no skilled players that spam full prem ammo will see that they are trash at the game
try other games this game is more dead and unbalanced like grand fantasy in its last days
OK, I get that crews are converted to 100% from the get go. Fine, no issue there. The Barracks Clean Up stinks to high heaven. I may not be a math major, but the math doesn't add up on the conversion given the percentage of the 1st skill/perk. NOW, you have the 1st perk/skill percentage.
I have 4 USA crew members showing the 1st skill at 83% which will be converted to 4-1st level training booklets = 20K x 4 = 100K. It damn well takes more XP than 20K to train up to 83%, if I am wrong, I went physical proof of of the actual break out of the percentages per xp required. I just feel WG is ripping us off with this whole percentage conversion to training booklets.
Not being able to turn the postmortem completely off is driving me nuts, something this crappy and annoying should have an off button.
The free camera after death is not going to happen. You have wrong information there.

Put all crew with more than 1 perk/skill in any tank ,,doesnt have to meet qualifications just park tjem ,then go through all rental and lower toer tanks nation by nation,all crew member with less than the first perk in barracks ,,,EZ i have 591 to exchange for tje books 😂😂😂
will this crew conversion affect also affect the recruits? the ones we haven't recruited yet for any tank
First they deleted top of the tree, now they are deleting clan reserves, good days for f2p players are over.
Still nothing to make me want to come back to the game, oh well.

That killcam is great. But it would be better if there was a quick view from front whilst playing, just to show how you look where you are
Because it's Russian, I wonder if the new siege tank will become a laser pointer with MORE dpm unlike the KPZ which has dpm go down the shitter for a meh increase in accuracy and aim time 😂
