TLDW & Confusions: - Before Hitting the "Conversion" Button --- (usable only once) - Move all non-essential crews to barracks - Move un-convertable/desired crews into premiums/ low tier empty vehicles - Barracks could be overflow with excessive crews (i thought it was a bug) - [Optional] you can convert all crews from vehicles you don't like/need to play into XP books - ["Newcomer Bonuses" - WG says it's for "New Players", it's for everyone] --- You can retrain and respecialize for free (100% gold discount) before finish 100% on 1st skill --- retrain and respecialize for 50% off with more than 1 skill - No more recruiting better crews if using credits or gold --- (75% for credits or 100% gold - 50% 1st skill for credits or 100% 1st skill for gold) --- [missed out on 'buying' 75% crews just for books - more effective to 2 or 3 man crew vehicles] - New Onslaught rental crews are 0% 1st skill - no conversion for XP - New Rental tanks'/ bond shop tanks' crews are... --- basic 100% no skills - no XP when converted - Make sure to check EACH AND EVERY crew to select new skills (everyone gets XP boosted) Edit: The free - 100% discount on retraining/re-specialization - will only last for ~10 crew members... afterwards, there will NOT be a discount
Thanks for the 2 videos, Sahm. But the rental crews are in fact usefull - you can increase their 1st crew level with only 1 free xp per crew member, their qualification level will become 0.05% of the 1st skill, but this is enough to give you one training booklet!
@@sahmlockhart I decided not to wait in case it was a bug about to be patched, so I did it before your reply. It did work! TY (and another streamer) for putting me onto this. I had 211 bunk spaces and was at 224 due to a couple rental crews going auto to Barracks. I sent all my other rental crews and stashed no-perk crews in tanks (I had bought most of the 1,2 and 3 tanks to use as bunkhouses) to the Barracks. I got an error message each time, but the action completed successfully anyway. It took me over 30 minutes but, when I finally pushed the button, I had well over 900 in the Barracks that were all successively converted. :-) :-)
As a 11 years+ veteran with tons of multiple-perk crews and someone who tends to maintain their barracks in a cleanly manner, I got jack all from this conversion feature :(
since it already dropped on NA i was retraining some crew members and the 100% gold discount lasted for around 10 crew members, then i got the normal 200
You mentioned in your last video they were going to remove rental tanks that have expired, is that correct ? You think the overflow bunks are to allow for and rental crews to go in may be? I remember years ago I had about 5 IS7 rental crews that put me over the limit, this may be the same ?

Did you push that Conversion button yet? If so, did it accept all those extra crew over the Barracks limit??

ah yes they also limited how many crew members you can recruit a day, i didnt count them tho
yup, i was retraining as well; the 100% discount lasted about 10 crew before you have to pay 200 gold each
That's weird..I am an old player and have been retraining for free for last 2 days, well beyond 10 crews??
damn if only this appeared in my recommended before i already hit the button lol
Whatever happened to a crew being able to command up to 3 tanks of the same line without penalty?
You can recruit a fresh 0% skill crew and buy crew books with credits or train them with free xp.
Sahm Lockhart, This video is fantastic! I liked it a lot!
