To swim in the bottom of the pool, do you make your lungs empty of air??

No, you don't need to empty your lungs. You need to learn to hold your breath for long time.
If you see, at the end of the video, I am releasing all the air from my lungs before coming out of water.

I tried many times and i can not stay under water, the water pushes me up after few seconds always!
I tried to make my head inclined to the bottom when i dive to stay under water, but it does work at all!

      Hi @@mostafarah
There are steps to go underwater.
First you need to understand how breathing working while going underwater as swimming is all about management of breath
      You can follow below steps:
      1. Learn to breath till stomach (stomach should feel full of air), most of swimmers do shallow breathing (breathing till chest). This can be done out side of water as well. Breath in from mouth and breath out from nose.
      2. Then do breath in and out in 5 feet deep water (my height is 5 feet 10 inches) so 5 feet is good for doing breath in and out for me. This will be done in squat form. This should be normal breathing. Breath in should be quick and breath out should be longer. You can count number in your head, for breath in count till 3, and for breath out count till 6, later you can increase based on your capacity. Breath out will be inside water. Do this for at least 10 times
      3. Once you are able to do step 2, try to hold breath for some time when underwater in squat position, then slowly release the air bubble in water. Do this for at least 10 times
      4. Now you will understand that when your body has no air it will sink automatically, but for doing underwater you can't empty your lungs, you just need to release small portion of air slowly from you lungs in gaps. Like count till 3 and release some air, then again count till 3 and release some air...this process will help you understand what exactly is happening inside water. Initially do this only in 4-5 feet depth of pool.
      5. Also keep in mind that when you go deeper in water like below >10 feets pressure on your ears increased for that you need to release some air or equalize (google for: equalization in scuba diving)
      6. Navigating through underwater is easy, but initial preparation is needed
I am not a professional swimming trainer, but based on my more than 10+ years of swimming experience, I will make one video for you on how to swim underwater.
I hope this will be helpful to you.
