I’ll definitely be reading about this and hopefully applying so that I can further my education. Thanks for sharing, my friend ☺️
are they going to give us money while working in their faculties 2 years?
i'm not sure if i qualify since i have no prior healthcare experience or worked with underserved populations before in any job or internship. the two year commitment could be rough if the facilities are in such desperate need of nurses and it's not a safe environment, and one might feel stuck there until the commitment ends. but it sounds amazing to not have to deal with crushing student debt for many years. i'll be looking into it though and sending to those i know are going into nursing school soon. thanks for the info!
The service obligation is 1 year for every year of financial support you receive.
Loved the remix 😆. I will definitely look into it. I’ve heard of it before, I guess I’ll have to find a way to volunteer or do an internship to be able to qualify
Lol that's my favorite part 😂 there are a lot of qualifications but it's such an awesome program!
are they going to give us money while working in their faculties 2 years?
Do they have a pre licensure program or do you already have to have an RN?
Community college is still the best and cheapest for nursing school
I recommend CC to so many people. No point in getting all the debt from a 4yr college or just paying that much if you do6nt need loans.
@@Katherine_Ann TBH
@@Katherine_Ann does community college slow the process of getting a degree, i dont get why so many people choose other universities if cc is this good. there has to be a catch?
@@soiarers838 I think a lot has to do with the superficial stigma of community college. Our society values the names of schools so much, when in reality, it really doesn't matter where you went to school once you're in your career, as a nurse. I'm sure there can be multiple factors, like choosing a university that doesn't accept community college credits, etc. Just my thoughts!
@@Katherine_Ann true! but doesn't cc only give you your associates in nursing? wouldn't you still have to go back for the bachelors eventually?
Thank you if you use the stethoscope which organs are you listening to? Hertz lungs or the belly?
Hello Katherine I am a registered nurse working at a clinic have been struggling to get a job abroad because they need at least 1 year experience hospital experience, I recently started to apply for clinic jobs, thank you so much for broadening view on looking for a job, much appreciated
When will they do the 2022 2023 school year?
Hi Katherine! I’m
New to your page. May the Lord bless all your hard work and career. I too am in for nursing but I was misdirected and ended up getting an aS in science of health science because the nursing program at my CC was full for soooonlong. Now I’m
Looking for an ABSN program. Wish I had more guidance n advice on what to do. 😢.
Hey, Nancy! Thank you for watching! I'd love to help with any questions that you have!
@@Katherine_Ann Thankyou so much for ya help. That’s an answer to prayer honestly. I am stressed out. I graduated with an Associate of Science in Medical science because my CC didn’t have slots for the nursing program. Anyhow I got a 73.3 on my teas exam. I live in NJ and I did get accepted into Thomas Edison State university hopefully for Sept cohort. But it’s an hour n half drive one way.
And program is gonna cost close to 40k. Which is a lot. Idk how I will be able to pay, but I know God will provide somehow.
I also have an option to do an LPN program in another school in April which is 12 months. It’s closer to home ..
I am a single mother of a 4 year old girl. And I need to be close to her incase anything ever happens .. I am tired of being in school I am in my 30”s. I did hair coloring for 10 years. When I had my daughter I decided I wanted nursing as a profession. Idk wat to do. I feel as if I wanna be done with school. Which route is easier? Idk. But as a mom, I have to work. So I wanted to finish school as quickly as I can so I can work already…. Any advice I would appreciate. Thanks so much! Your awesome!
@@nancyrozewicz1458 Oh wow, Nancy that's a long drive and I think there's better options for you. I always like to steer people away from debt, maybe you could look into working for a hospital as a PCA/CNA and they could help cover tuition and maybe you could find a nights or weekends program at a college closer to you. I'm sure that would be incredibly challenging with a four year old, but if you're sending her to kindergarten soon, maybe that would make it easier. It's a tough situation, ultimately you just have to weigh the pros and cons for what works best for you. Let me know what you decide, I'd love to hear it.
what state do you wish to go to nursing school? Are you willing to go to LPN program then transfer to LPN TO RN program?
@@lynebynd-wd5zz hi. I never got Accspted to TESU. Then the community college wants me to redo my chemistry class and won’t be able to start till 9/2024. Which sucks. I just am so overwhelmed. I have a 4.0
gPA and all. I’m in the state of NJ. Any recommendations?
Is it available in 2023? Amazing program and what an opportunity to help the under privileged community
Something to look into, Wendy! Definitely an incentive to enter such a critical field.
What's the age limit?
Do they offer for ABSN? Thanks
Thanks, for the information.pls what are schools for nursing scholarships ?
Ny different schools have them, you would have to look into each individual school you like 😊
I was going to say something smart and nursery, but I think I'm just going to complement you on your beauty. You, lady, are a super hottie!
I’m applying this month and I wanted to know are you guaranteed being approved because I really need this??
Hey Sandy, ypu are not guaranteed
Any other good ones?
Is this program available for South Africans living in South Africa i.e. long distance study? I dont mind mandetory service afterwords
I would contact the board for thay question!
I have a question. I have bachelors in Biology (3.0) & Masters in Healthcare administration (3.9). Want to do ABSN, what grants or scholarship do you suggest me applying for.
Wow, I'm sure you'll do well in a BSN program! That's a good question, I definitely did not take advantage of scholarships like I should have. One of the best paths I think you could take is work for a healthcare institution that will pay for all or part of your tuition. Not only will you potentially have free tuition, but you likely will have a guaranteed place of employment afterwards! Just a thought, good luck to you!
@@Katherine_Ann I’m currently working as a credentialing specialist with Atlantic health. I’m very curious on the options they have
@@CrownedKev Very nice! If they're a large institution I would imagine they would have some type of tuition assistance. Let me know how it goes!
Apply for med school.
Thank you for you're support i want to information for you i am Bsc psychiatric mental health nurse i work in 4 years in Ethiopia government health center by my professional i came after 3 month in American Maryland want work my professional and how to become mental health nurse in American it is difficult for African Bsc degree Holder ?
Hi Minilik, thank you for your comment. I would recommend doing your research to see if your degree would be recognized in order to be licensed as a registered nurse in America.
I live and in Nigeria Africa am I qualified to apply.. will I be accepted.
Hi Amijta, thanks for the question. I don't know for certain, but you could always look into it!
Do they offer admissions to international transfer student
I don't know if they would, something to look into!
Do you have any resources for BSN to PhD programs?
I do not, I'm sorry!
Video starts at 2:05, Nurse Corp Scholarship program
are they going to give us money while working in their faculties 2 years?
Hi Solarers, thanks for your comment. If I'm understanding your question correctly, yes they would be paying you to work there. The benefit the facility would be receiving is having your employment retained for (hopefully) two years.
Hi. Is this program available for South Africans?
I am not sure! I don't have a lot of knowledge on foreign nursing
Can you use this for LVN program?
Hi Kristine, great question. I don't believe so. It appears that it is only for RNs, NPs and potentially even DNPs.
Will this be applicable for someone looking for a career change?
does this apply to possible f1 students?
I don't know about that, Sandrene. It wouldn't hurt for you to look into it!
Hello nurse Katherine,i want to enroll to this course. How will i go about it?
Hi Elizabeth, this is not a course.
@@Katherine_Ann -thank you so much .
Hey there , Can international students use this scholarship?
Hey Sarah, I'm not sure but you could look into it!
Am asking the same
So if I don’t have a degree at all I can’t do this 😢
This is if you want to become a nurse :)
Is this a full ride for a nurse practitioner?
Depending on scholarships or where you work you could potentially get a full ride for a NP!
Is this only for Maryland residents/schools?
NOPE! It's for any nurse in the US!
I believe the same company also has a loan forgiveness program!
How awesome, that's great to know!
Is this program still available?
2023 just closed, but I would assume it will be open again in 2024!
hello! im in 12th grade applying for nursing colleges, will i have to apply next year when i start college or can i apply now
Hey Candii, thank you for your comment! That depends on the program you are looking at. Make sure you're doing your research for the college you want to attend. Do you have one in mind?
Hi, new with you here. Is this stillavailable now?
Hi Funmi, thanks for watching! As far as I am aware, it is!
I looked but it says is closed
@@Katherine_AnnHi. I was hoping you could give me your opinion on taking you TEAS or Hesi tests if you haven't finished your general education classes, yet? Ive been offered to begin taking my general education classes at my local college, then, br eligible to apply for their Nursing Program. But another college told me if I pass their TEAS entry test I will be automatically accepted into their nursing program.
I'm very conflicted on which route I should go on. This is all very new to me.
I want to learn nursing.don't u teach it?
