if you watch the DCS combat simulation of the Moskva Battlecruiser by the Grim Reapers YT Channel, it shows that the Moskva's Grumble Missiles (long range AA) and Gecko Missiles (intermediate range AA) would not fire at all if the ship was experiencing 30 meter swells, its not even an occular visibility issue (despite the heavy rain, radar was unaffected) but the radar just physically could not see past the 30 meter waves ahead of it, the radar's signals were literally being deflected by the water. and since the neptune missiles used to attack the ship were sea skimming missiles capable of flying just 50 meters above sea level, the moskva could not accurately lock-on to the 2 missiles especially beyond the curvature of the earth (8 kilometers), in the DCS simulation only the AK-630 CIWS of the Moskva was able to destroy 1 missile at a shocking 2km while the 2nd missile was able to score a direct hit at the magazine of the Grumble Missile Silos.

Hi, love watching builds, what glue do you use for the etched parts, plastic to etched snd etched to etched ?
Ca glue
Exelente trabalho! Os meus respeitos, Mestre! Saudações
Great modelling skills 👍
Beautiful! Awesome job!
Moskova: oh your approaching me instead of avoiding my radar
Neptune missile: I can sink the shit out of you without getting hit by your AA
if you watch the DCS combat simulation of the Moskva Battlecruiser by the Grim Reapers YT Channel, it shows that the Moskva's Grumble Missiles (long range AA) and Gecko Missiles (intermediate range AA) would not fire at all if the ship was experiencing 30 meter swells, its not even an occular visibility issue (despite the heavy rain, radar was unaffected) but the radar just physically could not see past the 30 meter waves ahead of it, the radar's signals were literally being deflected by the water.
and since the neptune missiles used to attack the ship were sea skimming missiles capable of flying just 50 meters above sea level, the moskva could not accurately lock-on to the 2 missiles especially beyond the curvature of the earth (8 kilometers), in the DCS simulation only the AK-630 CIWS of the Moskva was able to destroy 1 missile at a shocking 2km while the 2nd missile was able to score a direct hit at the magazine of the Grumble Missile Silos.
I`ll bet, this Trumpeter Kit will be sold out pretty soon. I`m tempted,to build such an Diorama too. :-))
If you can't find it, buy the Varyag kit! I did, Trumpeter includes the decals for her sister ships including Moskva and also includes parts for the Moskva's top radar. As far as I can tell there aren't any other noticable differences.
Looks good! 👍
Awesome job! Thank you for the video
Really well done!! Will you make an Admiral Makarov damage diorama also? =)
Do you have makarov photos?
@@ivanromanchenko459 at moment only a few are avaiable, and they need confirmation, some can be fake intended to be sold to newspapers' authors... st.ilfattoquotidiano.it/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/06/Admiral-Makarov-690x362.jpg I guess more and more detailed will be released soon, like for Moskva, it required some days to have them.

Incredible job and you got the stormy seas it sunk so life like; picture perfect. I envy your talents in being able to make something look so realistic. Very well done indeed and *Thank You* for sharing this. 👍👍👍👍
Entertainingly, the weather when the Moskva sank was actually extremely good, with very low wave action. One of the more hilarious gaslighting claims out of Moscow is the one about the weather.
It was clearly a display of superior Russian naval technology: the surface vessel transformed into a submarine!
Amazing work! I like to see PE parts on a model but I hate to built it. Not patient enough...

Great success, comrades. Moskva has officially been promoted to submarine.
Man, you could say is it to soon but you have to love the irony that a nation with no navy that I know of took out the flagship of a country with one of the largest , that aside, great build.
Sinking a flagship without a functioning Navy.
That's seamanship, Mr Pullings, my God that's seamanship.
Nice. Where is the storm? :)
If model like this was on sale, I would instantly buy it.
For added realism, do some drilling and add an incense burner.
Lite that thing up and watch it smoke!

This is sooo epic

Very skillful! A work of art, very well done.
for the overall picture , we need a diorama with a Sagaidachny.

Also I may say this was a beautiful diorama
What adhesive do you use for assembly?
So It sunk after taking so little damage? Poor russian cruiser design then... :D
Haha yeah, Russian ships are famously trash.
Next model: Frigate Admiral Makarov xD
Bloody brilliant!
Wonderful to watch a true artist in action
