Hi, I'm your new subscriber. My living expenses were 1200 pounds. Its excluded everything. I were in East Ham, London (Zone 3) I had few friends of mine they had monthly expenses of approx of 900 pounds.
Nice breakdown of the expenses. I have just 2 questions 1. How much do you save per month on average as CT1? 2. Can you make a video on House/Flat and the local area?
Foundation year doctors post their pension being cut earn around 2000-2400£. If you don’t want to have pensions being put aside then add 200-300£ more to that. That’s the junior most role in the system hence junior doctor. I can not be commenting on my savings. Let’s put it this way, being a core trainee in London I do save enough and have a comfortable lifestyle. Maybe because I don’t have kids and nobody is dependant on me.
That’s a good video which help me out because my next plan is visit to London thank u for this I will support you and I will increased your subscribers do this thing and helps the people God bless you
Thanks for your information to everyone. My children was born there and working at the moment. Tuff life high expenditure. Very expensive city after Tokyo.

You need to keep in mind these expenses are so high because I am living in London. Also, my salary is higher than a FY2 as I am a CT1. Thirdly, I split the bills of rent etc as I live with my husband. If you are single then obviously your rent will be much less. And if you choose to not live in London then rent goes way below 600£ a month depending on the location. I hope this is reassuring.
I know this is a very personal question but I was curious. FY-2, CT-1 get paid around 2-3k pounds/month and your expenses add up to the same each month. Then how do you manage?

2086 pounds, means approx 2lac INR. Do you really spend that much money in a month? Is it that much expensive to live in london. If yes then How much do you earn per month?

It varies person to person and with what kind of lifestyle you have. Accommodations vary from zone to zone. I can not be generalising the cost of living. This is just how much I spend. Also, welcome to my channel. ☺️
Sorry, I don’t feel comfortable discussing how much I save. Also, junior doctor’s pay varies based on which position you are in. And yes costs are lower in smaller towns. London is expensive.
