    Maternity Leave Information - www.bma.org.uk/pay-and-contra...
    All employees have a right to take 52 weeks maternity leave under the statutory scheme. To qualify for SMP you need to be an employee with 26 weeks continuous service with your employer running into the 15th week before the expected week of childbirth. If you do not qualify for statutory maternity pay you may qualify for maternity allowance which can be claimed from JobcentrePlus.
    Gov.uk provides more details on eligibility for statutory maternity pay and maternity allowance, and how to claim maternity allowance.

    Heyy Dr. Monisha, I wish for your speedy back to All normal Recovery...
    I too had COVID back in May first half, 2021. I still havent got my Smell back. yeahh, its depressing sometimes, maybe most of times. But i jus dont think about it. I wish i could get back my smell, as i was a great foodie, and sensitive to smells and used to cook too, so Yeahh i miss my smell sense.
    Can you suggest me something which can be done, beside all those conventional things of Smell training etc.. I havent consulted Neurologist yet though. I was just waiting for 20 weeks to get over just in case i would get it by then. but it didnt happen so. I am going to consult ENT soon too.

    Heyy. Hope you are doing fine. I just wanted to know about post graduate college courses like MD in UK as an IMG. Should they be done? And if yes, when is the right time to do them?

    How they decide what branch we get?
    Based on plab scores?

      Nope. You apply for core training/speciality training in the speciality you want to pursue.

    Hello ma'am. I'm MBBS graduate from India. I finished my internship in October 2021. I've joined as a lecturer in Department of Anatomy. Will working as a lecturer be in my favour or will it be of no use? Also is it compulsory to be working in a clinical field before appearing for PLAB?

    • @drmonishamishra
      @drmonishamishra  2 роки тому

      1. Any kind of experience is good to add to your CV. You could add that as teaching experience.
      2. I wasn’t working before applying for PLAB, if that helps.

    Hello I am a final year student and a lot is going on about UNIVERSITY EXAMS, INTERNSHIP, EXTERNSHIP, NEET, PLAB, EPIC, etc. Much is clear because of your earlier videos on PLAB AND EPIC, thank you so much for that Doctor.
    I just have one query:
    If someone pursuing MBBS in Maharashtra takes externship in Delhi because of language issues, will that create any problem with GMC registration process
    kindly advice if possible

    • @drmonishamishra
      @drmonishamishra  2 роки тому +1

      It shouldn’t. As long as you have MBBS degree and internship completion. It should be alright.
