Moving to London for my first job in early 2024, thank you for this ! ❤ Also, back in 2020 when I was an intern , you were the first person who inspired me to take up practice as a doctor in the UK ! ❤
when i visited london-- taxi airport to hotel was 100 pounds (Rs 8000 then), One city bus journey GBP 2.50 (Rs 200 then), one taxi local ride (GBP 22) (Rs 1760).. cheapest meal was from mcDonald.
Thank you for this amazing video. Currently I am considering London for foundation year but I have questions in my mind, especially about the neighborhoods for accommodation. Which areas would you recommend for a first year junior doctor, regarding safety, environment and costs as well? Thanks a lot again Dr. Monisha, you are amazing. I have been following you for a long time and you inspired me a lot with your videos❤
was some very personal info but like you said I would have loved to find out what others make because it makes clear your vision. Thank you again. About staying in London it's all about passion. I grew up in India reading Enid Blyton, Sherlock Holmes, Agatha Christie. So..... I've been trying to look at properties in westminister area or anywhere north of the Thames but all north of 4 million GBP.
Thank you for such an informative video. It will be helpful for me if you answer my question. After completing a royal college degree like MRCEM and then entering into national training program in UK ,will i be paid enough to bear my all basic costs and also save some money if i plan to stay in expensive places like London?
Hello dr Monisha, you must be earning through UA-cam too right? For a normal doctor there to pay for expenses might be more than you because you can pay through UA-cam money as well? It would have been more helpful if you included that too because not every nhs doctor is a UA-camr as well, however thankyou for the video it was very informative 💕
Hey I'm planning to do a bachelor's in uk and I'm doing bsc computer science, but the thing is im taking an education loan so after graduation what are the chances of me getting a job so that i can start paying back the loan
As much knowledge as i have it is not a good idea to go for graduation in uk.. you cannot pay fees by working 20 hours.. as much as i have heard or watched… you can try and search but i don’t think study for 3 years will be worth it and the loan amount will add up. Lastly when you have a break in bachelor’s degree then you have a chance to work full time if then you can work your ass off and save some of it then it might be possible but please try and search everywhere.. dont go on my word or anyone else’s strictly.
@@Anirudh7755 well, I'm planning to take education loan so that i can pay later, i mean after graduation when i get a full time job, so i think I'll have to pay by X amount money emi per month, so my plan is to focus on my studies and not paying off my loans, I'll worry about loans after i graduate and i can pay that later. Thanks for your response ❤️
@@nightowl3x yeah that can happen buddy… interest wont be there until your study is completed and when it is done then you can pay the loan amount. Sounds like a solid plan..go for it mate. 🙌🏻
@@Anirudh7755 Wo ! Who told you that ? From the moment you take out the loan, interest continues to accrue. You can wait until you start earning to start paying however.
It is a very subjective question. Everybody’s timeline is different. Few people receive a job offer within a month of GMC registration and some struggle for months-years.
Hello thanks for making great content. I have booked plab 1 recently. But there is a concern. I got sick during my internship in my home country. I did medicine and allied for 6 months, then got sick and took 5 months break. After that, i did 6 months surgery and allied. I have all the medical reports with me. Will gmc grant me full registration in this case? I need ur opinion Regards

I don't understand why people are being soo harsh...it feels like you are pretty mindful about your expenses.
So inshort your answer to compensate cost of living in London is to get married ASAP 😭

Monisha youre glowing...just saying. great video thank you for being so honest!!!
Liked the video even before it began ❤❤ also, love what you’re wearing 😍😍😍
Thank you 😍☺️
In another video you mentioned you earn around 4K as take home salery. So 1200 expenditures months saves around 3K per month. So pretty good 👍🏻
There are taxes as well 😢😢
Great elaboration you did⚡

Monisha, you can consider switching your Apple ID location to India and then pay for Apple One for INR 365 per month for family ;)

Maturity when u know every single thing about money in UA-cam is directly proportional to money 😅😅
mr. mature is back
Ma'am You have good speech & u r beautiful too...why u don't start vlogging....!
So many facilities no its dont matter the cost . ❤London ✌
Monisha , dunno if its good or bad,but maybe youre indirectly increasing competition for IMGs in the UK 😅
Please do a video on locums 🥺🥺.. thanks in advance
I have a doubt like what if I start there as FY 1....like will i earn anything to even pay my own rents in UK or I have to be dependent on parents
so basically its 2400 single person expense unmarried ...better everyone get married to working man before shifting london.
Or a woman? Getting married to a working woman before shifting to london right? Or are you gay? That's understandable then
When you are single and setting up in a city ..there is something called room sharing /room mates

I don’t earn via UA-cam. I’m an IMG, on a tier2 visa. So, I can’t have another source of income. ☺️
@@drmonishamishra what about the "investment" portion from the salary breakdown? Won't that be considered extra income as well?

What area of London?

Is the rent monthly or annually?
The video is about my monthly expenses.
LOL
It is annually
It’s monthly rent like I’ve mentioned above.
Maam can you tell me how much time does it take to get first job in uk as a doctor
If you are an MBBS graduate in 2023 and not booked plab 1 , it will take a minimum of 2 years to get a job.

You think uk ppl will know neet ug, drops etc?
TWO YR DROP FOR NEET UG ! SO FOR NEET PG, IT WILL BE 3 YR DROP. SO BETTER GO TO UK ,AFTER MBBS IN INDIA, AND PREPARE FOR PLAB DURING MBBS
