I have 2 switches. One I don’t use really anymore because it had a lot of issues. My second one (got it in 2019. It’s the second model) is really good and I love to use it. I considered the lite one but I didn’t like the idea of it not being able to dock, and the joy cons not coming off. I also like hd rumble. I understood that it was cheaper, but not what I wanted. My mom told me she won’t get me another one so I take extra care of my switch XD the joy cons sometimes are weird.
My parents preordered the yellow one for me for my birthday! I’ve always been the one with the “lite” versions of consoles (DS lite, 2ds) and they haven’t failed me yet, so I’m honestly really excited

I’m pretty selfish so this is the perfect system for me lol. I see I can play Mario kart, smash brothers ultimate, and saints row 3. Those are the only games that’ll make me happy and it’s affordable. Nintendo is going the right way.

I got the lite as my only switch because all I wanted out of it is the portability so this was perfect for me! I completely agree with you on Nintendo’s choice to make it stand alone with no dock for tv play

I would recommend the Switch Lite either to someone who doesn't have a lot of time to play games, someone who travels around a lot and likes to play video games on the go, or someone who already has a Switch and has a kid, but wants to get their kid their own Switch.
@@evehellod9776 there is now Switch Pro and nothings is planned for now. What was released short before the switch lite itself ? the updated Switch with a smaller "Die" etc. that draws less power so you can play alot longer on the go.
for me it’s just because it’s cheap and smaller, allthough ill agree it looks so much better than the full fat switch, it was a good upgrade from the vita for me.

What do you mean I'm playing Breath of the wild on my lite and it's amazing. I went with this because I didnt feel like spending the extra, and I also am saving for an Oculus. So yeah. Only other thing I bought with my light is the wireless controller, plus zelda's. So boom perfect. I couldn't be any happier with the graphics and performance. I don't need the extra stuff just zelda, doom, skyrim, etc. The normal console games. I bought the controller for shooters, other than that I just use the lite controls. When I buy skyrim, this will probably be like the 8th time buying it lol. Also there's cases with a kick stand on it. I was also very happy with the power a controller, no lag what so ever.

I have always played Nintendo, from the ds lite, dsi, and 3ds. I got a psp vita a few years ago and I love it but Nintendo will always be my favorite between Xbox or psp. I ordered a coral Nintendo lite and I can’t wait for it to get here!

Then either a set of joycon - 79.99 or a pro controller 59.99.. so in the end Nintendo would have made more money .. now yes you could buy pre owned and save some money.. but still. Still debating on ordering a Lite.. I may put in a preorder for the Pokemon on Gamestop.. but who knows.
I just got the switch lite today and tbh I’m very happy with my purchase. The lite was the best option for me because I’m still having to Xbox plugged into the tv and I have the PS4 hooked up into the living room tv and I wasn’t about to unplug either of those so the lite was the best option for me

The Switch Lite is a beautiful looking console and I even considered it for a little bit but I knew deep down that I wanted to regular Switch. I mean, the Lite would be perfect for the people with less money in mind. Most base PS4`s and Xbox Ones are 250-300 dollars if you look, so the Switch Lite can be a jumping point for people to enter the Switch Ecosystem without devoting that extra 100$ if you dont think you need it as a Console. Hopefully I can pitch in and help get a Switch Lite for my friend.
We have 4 switch lites (1 of each color) at my house because no one likes to share 😂 and we all prefer playing handheld anyway. I have the turquoise myself and I love it! That being said, I also bought the animal crossing switch and leave it docked all the time. I can't imagine playing handheld on the regular switch when my lite is so much better for handheld. I just ordered the switch lite & I can’t wait to get it. I want it just for me, so that works out well. And I can take it with me when leaving the house & still play while sitting in waiting rooms & now i will have something to play with. So for me YAY

I have a Nintendo switch lite I may just get the Nintendo switch because I do wish I could play it on the TV because that experience definitely would be way funner but I'd just have to figure out how I'd sell it and where I'd sell it at as well so I can get a Nintendo switch as well.

I got Super Mario Party for Christmas 2019 and I was disappointed to find out that it wasn't playable on the Switch Lite
You should investigate first before buying it and since the Wii era of Mario party you can only play with motion controls.
I mean, the Lite would be perfect for the people with less money in mind. Most base PS4`s and Xbox Ones are 250-300 dollars if you look, so the Switch Lite can be a jumping point for people to enter the Switch Ecosystem without devoting that extra 100$ if you dont think you need it as a Console. Hopefully I can pitch in and help get a Switch Lite for my friend.
We have 4 switch lites (1 of each color) at my house because no one likes to share 😂 and we all prefer playing handheld anyway. I have the turquoise myself and I love it! That being said, I also bought the animal crossing switch and leave it docked all the time. I can't imagine playing handheld on the regular switch when my lite is so much better for handheld. Like he said, options are good. Lol
I hope we can play zombies ate my neighbors on this soon. 🙏
