Games glaringly missing in action here for me are Dragon Quest XI S, Nier: Automata, Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin, Emio: The Smiling Man and Valkyria Chronicles 4. Also Fire Emblem: Three Houses, Luigi's Mansion 3, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, Tunic, Ori and the Will of the Wisps, Little Nightmares, Deponia Collection, Black Bird, The Wonderful 101 Remastered, and Unicorn Overlord.
For me, the games I would have on the list would be (not ordered): Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, Celeste, DKC Tropical Freeze, Luigi's Mansion 3, Kirby and the Forgotten Land, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury, Mario Odyssey, Hades and Persona 5 Royal
I'm here for the enthusiasm, as an enthusiast. There's no way this can line up with my favorites. I haven't watched this yet but I'm not expecting Doom, Quake, Quake 2, Dusk, MvC2 or that lot, Streets of Rage 4, etc etc. A list of exclusives would be easier, lol.
Sonic Mania The Messenger The list that was given is already solid but Mania is my most played Switch game, it's insane the replayability, music, and fun it is. The Messenger is so freaking good. Rounding it up with Metroid Dread made me happy. But having Pokemon on the list and not absolute bangers like Tunic, Ori, Lost Crown, NieR, Blasphemous, Assassin's Creed, Dave the Diver, etc. ist just diabolical. Pokemon games are objectively bad.
Fun list to see, i personaly did not enjoy metroid dread all that much, i'm not a 100% sure why, i really like the metroid series, hell i have the first NES game since i was a kid. I felt most of the areas were just kinda the same, all sci-fi areas, compared to something like Hollow knight, while yeah its all in a cave system, regions felt different. You have some great top personal choice, fun vid.
Personally, I would take off indie games like Animal Well and Celeste because they’re not really Switch games, but cheap games you can play on your Switch, if you know the difference. That would make room for actual Switch games that deserve to be here: Luigi’s Mansion 3, Super Mario Maker 2, Three Houses, and so on. Also, Breath of the Wild/Tears should really be one entry.
Oh damn, I own all but one: I'm missing the Jamboree. And four are still in the backlog, including big ones like Persona 5 and The Witcher. But as I only bought my Switch in 2020, it seems like I am addicted yes 😅 I would include Prince of Persia TLC and throw out Mario RPG. Maybe also include Fire Emblem Three Houses instead of The Witcher as a port on Switch. And I am missing Octopath Traveller 2 my beloved ❤
Bayonetta 2, 3 & Origins Astral chain Diablo 3 Monster boy and the cursed kingdom Blasphemous Paper mario origami king Mario e luigi brothership Zelda links awakening Dragon quest 11 Nier automata

there are some great games missing Kirby and the Fogotten Land Luigi's Mansion 3 Quake 2 remaster Marvel vs Capcom Fighting Game Collection Maro and Luigi Brotherhood Mario vs Donkey Kong Princess Peach Show Time
I dont think any if these games are bad, but the poor state of the industry (devs and the surrounding industry) that only three or four if these games are not remakes, sequels, ir remasters. And from my count, they are all indie titles: (Hollow Knight, Balatro, Animal Well, Celeste, etc.) Video games i guess are rarely an innovative form, they are iterative, but if you have been into video games for the long haul, there is very little here that isnt some retread of tropes established in the 1980s.
Fair list, but if I were to add one more, it would be Shin Megami Tensei V Vengeance. I love the original release and I've got two endings for it. However, Atlus definitely raised the bar with Vengeance. Not only it has two stories, with each having its own endings, the battle system is also enhanced. We can also interact with recruited demons in a base, which is a very welcome addition. It's just a fantastic game. ^^

I felt most of the areas were just kinda the same, all sci-fi areas, compared to something like Hollow knight, while yeah its all in a cave system, regions felt different.
You have some great top personal choice, fun vid.
Wonder what the list would be if it was all switch games... without all the ports.
I wanted so badly for MP superstars ans jamboree to just be dlc for Super. Imagine a Mario Party with that amount of content
Ah, Dead Cell, the game that outed someone for plagiarism.😇
I was literally just trying out bowser's fury and it's awesome, just as good as mario odyssey
Your videos are always so heartfelt and profound! Thank you for your creativity and ability to touch the deepest strings of my soul!🎬🍊🙄
Bayonetta 2, 3 & Origins
Astral chain
Diablo 3
Monster boy and the cursed kingdom
Blasphemous
Paper mario origami king
Mario e luigi brothership
Zelda links awakening
Dragon quest 11
Nier automata
Yo dawg I heard you like outtakes so we put some outtakes in your outtakes
Prince of Persia The Lost Crown could have easily made it to the list. ❤🎉
Kirby & The Forgotten Land & Luigis Mansion 3 have to be included. Obvious misses, otherwise a good list.
I might be the only one who didn’t like Paper Mario TTYD. I loved the N64 original. I loved the various other Switch remakes. I just found TTYD to be painfully repetitive and dull.
My top 10 games on the Switch
1 Diablo 3
2 Dark Souls
3 Dragons Dogma
4 Witcher 3
5 Dying Light
6 Monster Hunter Stories 2
7 Metro Exodus
8 Doom 2016
9 Quake 1&2
10 Skyrim
there are some great games missing
Kirby and the Fogotten Land
Luigi's Mansion 3
Quake 2 remaster
Marvel vs Capcom Fighting Game Collection
Maro and Luigi Brotherhood
Mario vs Donkey Kong
Princess Peach Show Time
I dont think any if these games are bad, but the poor state of the industry (devs and the surrounding industry) that only three or four if these games are not remakes, sequels, ir remasters. And from my count, they are all indie titles: (Hollow Knight, Balatro, Animal Well, Celeste, etc.)
Video games i guess are rarely an innovative form, they are iterative, but if you have been into video games for the long haul, there is very little here that isnt some retread of tropes established in the 1980s.
And yet we still have other amazing games left out
Astral Chain
Dragon Question XI
Bayonetta 2, 3 and origins
Xenoblade 1 and 2
Kirby and the forgotten land
Super Mario Maker 2
Mario and rabbit games
No mans Sky
The dragon ball games
Nier Automata
Untitled Goose Game
Luigis Mansion 3 etc
Let me know some others I missed
@Nintendo Life Legend of Zelda Echoes of Wisdom probably has one of the best stories in the Series besides Skyward Sword in my opinion
Fire emblem: three houses?
Fire emblem engage?
Dragon quest 11s?
