Isn't there some data written onto the chip to tell it that this cartridge had been used to print 500 pages and so it will not work? Because I just did everything except prime ( but my cartridge leaves the color when tissue is placed so it does need suction for now) but the printer keeps throwing error that it hasn't been placed correctly and if the error repeats replace cartridge..

Try uninstalling and reinstalling your printer, your problem is you must have shared info with hp.

Not possible to override but it’s a small price to pay for very very cheap printing.
