- Back in Birmingham we witness more scenes of workings at Snow Hill Station including a warship on freight traffic before moving to the southern approach to New Street Station from a view point no longer there. Work is seen taking place prior to electrification and a Pullman service is seen on the Snow Hill line from the same vantage point.
Excellent film again ❤
Many thanks
Love the Warships. Used to seem them regularly on the Waterloo to Exeter service back in the late 60's early 70's
Brings back great memories. Regards, John
Another gem!

Great footage, some of those Diesels look older than they are.
Another cracking little gem there John thank you
Glad you enjoyed it

Glad you enjoyed it
Awesome 👍
Thank you! Cheers!
Seeing a Western with Pullman stock reminds me of the crash at Dorridge involving Western Queen. I remember it being on tv news, but didnt see the sctual incident. I think I was seven at the time, (1963?). It was an awful shock around the village. I did see the aftermath of the other accident, the Birkenhead night freight, spilled all over the place.
Nice old Video!
Thanks
I wonder how many of those Vauxhalls had rusted out by time the train got to where it was going!
