wow, our video reaches NZ thank you for watching and the positive comments, make us even more excited to upload videos we are also working on datsun 240z, do you have many cars in your place?
From time to time we see various classics on the road, a pretty broad selection to observe. Classic car shows are not too uncommon here. I’m from Auckland (north island) but have spend two years on the south Island. They are found all over the country. Haven’t seen a nice beetle yet, but pretty sure they are around. I don’t own a classic but love them. E.g. Napier (in Hawkes Bay) has a once a year Art Deco fest with many owners of classics popping in but understand it’s been cancelled for this year). Regards.
Imagine the increase in productivity if the shop had a sand (media) blaster, a shop-vac, and an air compressor with a couple tools. It's staggering to think about what we take for granted just in our own garages.
Agree with most of the comments on safety, but setting that aside, these guys did a beautiful job with minimal tools and not the greatest work environment. Whether you like the color or not, the quality of the paint job is striking.
many comments about safety because they compare with workshop conditions in Europe or the United States they are paid $100/hour, so it's very easy to buy all workshop and security tools, hopefully we in Indonesia can be paid the same as these countries
Ok, this car has wide 5 wheels, a king pin front and a swing axle transmission. These all indicate an early Type 1. Then, you show the engine and low and behold, it is a dual port. WOW, what a fun car! Where are you folks? ... Thailand maybe?
¿También estás restaurando este VW? Espero que todo vaya bien. Un coche muy popular en todo el mundo, quizás más que cualquier otro coche clásico. Gracias por mirar y comentar, ¿de dónde eres? ¿Hay muchos VW allí?
Intrigued why you used the middle parts of Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture at the beginning .... But having restored a 1956 Beetle to show condition I was really impressed by this project. 👍👍

ah we used pine green i think, closest to what we wanted. we applied to gray primer then cleared. car was originally savannah beige then the previous owner in pa painted it that light blue. it caught fire on him, went up the channels n burned out the interior. still some rust coming through from the burn barrell metal haha.

Just hire 6 guys and give them $6 a day and they are super happy.....Here in the US. Everyone wants minimum wage of $15 an hour and in a big city that is not enough to live. because of such greed in real estate ownership
This car was hit in front. You can tell because the wheel arch above the front beam driver side is crunched. I compared it to mine. Nice work but it could have been pulled and dollied.
