It also hurts to see his physical decline. Vocals on this are still there, but I’ve seen a few vids where they definitely weren’t. At the top of his game, Weiland had it all, looks, vocals, writing, style, and swagger to burn! Those big beautiful baby blues burning thru a camera lens like Superman! Those same eyes that turned blank, and vacant, a tragedy. By 2015 he was already a ghost, a shadow of his former sexy self. He even wrote about it before that change, “I’m half the man I used to be”. And so it was. I watch the early videos, to remember him like he was then. At that time, for me, I had found my perfect man, everything I wanted and a couple extras thrown in! Beautiful fucked up man, I still love you from afar, my cursed Prince. Sleep Well.
I miss his creative genius. He did look terribly sad in the last year. There is a article written By Randy Rocket on Metal Den. I was shocked when I read it because I kept saying all along I believe he was taken out like the rest of the great Grunge area singers we lost. He is a perfect candidate to just write off as an overdose but there was more things going on around him. Its worth the read and of course is left as speculation but I find it great that someone else had the same very thoughts I have.
First time hearing this song was live, before the album came out. I liked it right away, Scott was on that night, it actually sounded better than whats on the album
He still sounded amazing. Just so strange to see him sitting still and not slithering like a snake as usual. So sad. Makes me as sad watching this as it does watching AIC on MTV unplugged!! 😔
Wish we could go back to the 90's when there was real music,& art. Not the bullshit the meee meee meee generation think is music. With it's 148 beats per minute,& loop track, of the same line of computerized voice. Nobody actually playing any instrument, only a keyboard with sounds programed into it,& maybe some record loop,&scratching. Not the same AT ALL!! Gen. X er's at least we had honor of enjoying the last of the Great Ones! Thank you STP, Raidiohead,Nirvana,GnR, & people like Tom Petty,Jack white,{genius} We had alot of great tunes,Beck,R. H. Chillipeppers, Athough Beck kinda lost it,anyways too many to name, but gotta mention Cranberries,Smashing Pumpkins, &can't forget Radiohead!! oh!,guess I said them.

He sadly reminds me Layne Staley in the AIC Unplugged...
Second time in 24 hours I've seen that comparison made of Scott's last few months and Layne at Unplugged. Totally accurate. Scary/sad to see.

Why you gotta say this generation there are tons of us that listen to real music
Guitars sounds like T.Rex Glam Rock
Scott listened to Marc Bolan. I myself am a Bolan fan.
İs there another performance at this studio?
