As an African American I really really hope I will not be overly emotional when I do go but it’s hard not to think of all that was taken from us. I’m sure after the initial visits I’ll eventually get past the emotions and just enjoy my African self.🙏🏾

@kwazue look up the meaning of Lazy. It is not learning any nonsense language. English is the general language in Ghana and some other African Countries. I can't even imagine me learning any language at age 40 plus. People will learn at their own pace

I’m sure that if you were in any given African country on a Tuesday you would get stared at too, so that makes some Afrikans equal to some Westerners. Finally if you’ve never seen a westerner smile on a Wednesday or carry other than mugs you really must be lining in another planet. In any case all you have done is prove my first point... and if you hold such an exaggerated mindset then I’m not sure why you think you are better than anyone else.

Yes..there’s visa upon arrival. I had to do the same from the US to Accra . It is better not to ship at all. Make all purchases when you arrive.
Speaking the language, I think, should be mandatory, at least enough to communicate.
