I just found your channel. I'm an Afro Cuban/ Puerto Rican from New York. I fled the racism in the US 12 years ago, going to university in Rome. I've been in Rome for those 12 years and I have to say I'm exhausted, the West makes me feel so empty. I'm tired of feeling like people are "tolerating" my brown presence. I am glad that you found some peace in Ghana. You mention that you're Afro Cuban, Cuba is a very special place for me. I am originally from Nigeria, the Yoruba region to be precise and I was in Cuba 2 years ago. It was a transformative experience. I visited the Yoruba museum in Old Habana and visited a Maroon/Cimarron village in Mantanzas province and actually learned a lot of Yoruba history over there. I have since learned of famous Yoruba Cubans such as Carlota la Negra of the Triunvirato plantation slave rebellion and Prieto the slave turned soldier in the Lucumi war. I mention this because once settled in Africa you may be interested in looking into some of the common traditions between Cuba and Yoruba in West Africa (Nigeria and Benin republic) , particularly the orishas, lucumi and Santeria. A lot AfroCubans were Yoruba because of the collapse of the Oyo empire back in West Africa and many of them actually did manage to return to West Africa. Omg so many people are moving to Africa. Being from the Caribbean, when I moved to the US I couldn’t believe the clear disparity between Blacks and Whites here. It’s like 2 different countries, cultures, music, food even Christian music here are separated by race. At least I have another country that I call home
I am from Eri and you are talking exactly what my plan after my study is done because everything is tasteless in here. I am still searching what I should do in Africa but I will contact you when I am ready to leave this hell. I understand why you decided to do that because I grew up in Eritrea 🇪🇷 and now I know that life is not all about money even though it’s essential to buy something. I am so proud of you my sister and I wish you the best life and great success in your plan.

God of Africa and our ancestors will help and support you to achieve your goals as you are coming back to the continent of the future. I'm really happy for you, your actions will inspire many to think of going back home. God bless you!
As a Kenyan in the US for two years now I can truly relate. I have seen both sides and The States is fast paced, there is money and opportunities. In Africa the opportunities are to be created there is full of love, kindness and comfort. A little kindness goes a long way. In the States life is expensive causing people to have to think about themselves. Not withstanding the social issues like racism which make one always nervous, you can never just relax. I only knew that I am black when I landed in the US. In Africa we are all black, all human, all equal and human dignity is upheld.
Africa is good place to do business but the biggest problem is corruption and bureaucracy generally very difficult to achieve your goals good luck my sister
Dr. Harnet you are an amazing and proud African woman! This feeling and decision is hard but rewarding. NOTHING IS MORE THAN LIVING FOR YOUR PURPOSE! I wish you a blessed and sucessful African Developement because now it is only about you it is already about the whole continent -AFRICA
I can't wait to be back home in Ghana so I can finally contribute my share. My business launches this year creating jobs in Ghana and the US. My heart is filled with joy seeing this, we who were sent away as kids will return as adults ready to lead the way. Your positive spirit is magnificent 😊
futureshocked so very true! Its a very individualized society. Here you feel part of a tribe, a clan, a nation. Here i have a name and are a person, in the west you are a number, or outnumbered...
I am so happy that you are making this move. What a blessing. I repatriated to Ghana 32 years ago with my Kingman, Nana Okofo and it was the best decision of our lives, turning 50 at the time. A tremendous sacrifice and It wasn't easy as my book "Returning Home Ain't Easy But It Sure Is A Blessing" speaks to. It does my heart and spirit so good as I see the numbers of us that are returning home to Mother Africa. I wish you the very best of everything my Seestah as you embrace and bring your love and talent home. May our collective ancestors remain with you always, guiding and protecting you, keeping you from hurt, harm or danger. Much Love and respect, Mama IMAHKÜS (One Africa)
Wow. I can’t believe you said all that. I have been feeling exactly like you as a British Born Pakistani. I think our forefathers are calling us back home.
I agree with you Dr Harnet I am from Eritrea myself and have been yearning to go back to mama Africa and do some business there for sometime now. Everytime I visit Africa I have that spiritual connection; the sense of belonging and the energy and potential of the place makes my mind wonder about the possibilities. I am also thinking about what can be done and the possibility of changing lives whilst changing your own. Keep doing the right things I have subscribed to your channel.
Dr Harnett, you such an inspiration. That's exactly how I feel. I have 2 degrees in construction. My wife and and I are working on a project in that field in Uganda.
I can't wait to move. I been over the West years ago. I would love to find a place that is a balance between West and East. Ready to get deeper, have balance, and create. Wish you nothing but the best!
Wow! Its good to know that I am not alone in this thoughts and plans of moving back to my lovely mother land Africa. I plan to pack it up from Europe after 31 years and head back home. Thank you Dr Hanet for inspiring me. I might move quicker than I originally planed.

Very refreshing listening to you and your journeying in life toward Africa. Keep the good work going as others also coming right behind you to work for humanity and the benefits in that can be way more fulfilling as you had said.
Very true Dr. Harnet in what you are saying, I would like to start a business there in either landscaping or farming - I feel like I am wasting my time here in Australia.
@@user-mq6qv6bi2g They tried that, all the farms were stripped and there was nobody left who knew how all the machines worked. On the plus side, all the original African invented mud/stick technology was fine, so there's that...

I agree with your intuition about being invisible in the West and not mattering. When I was in Ghana, I was amongst thousands of people who didn't know me, but never felt "invisible." I felt connected. There was a spirit that I find lacking in the West. Maybe it is because I was amongst my ancestors; the first modern humans on the planet.

Africa is a continent with 54 different and unique countries as a Liberian from The Republic OF Liberia it’s good to hear and see our brothers and sisters from the diaspora moving and visiting the continent 🇱🇷🥳🥳🥳🥳
Just a quick question: When will be people stop speaking about Africa as though it's a town or an island? Why is it "I'm going to Africa", "I was in Africa"? Why is it so difficult to name specific countries? Why do people speak about Africa and Africans as though we are monolithic and just one group? There are African countries that are absolutely wonderful and then there are some that are absolutely awful. Please be specific. People are not the same all over. We as Africans are not all equally welcoming, equally friendly or equally gentle. Let's be honest: people in African countries often care who you are when you sound or look different. We don't ALL love each other to bits. We're like any other continent. Please don't tell people fantastical things.
I think some people don't want to put all their business out there about specifics, but yeah, you're right, a lot of folks do talk like that about going to Africa. Not very many people just say Asia or Europe unless they made multiple stops
@@diouranke Imagine speaking about the continent with some of the most cultural and historical diversity in the world as a group that can be lumped together. I don't get it. This nonsense of making it sound like we as all Africans are dying to embrace everybody must also stop. Hospitality and welcoming may be tradition for a lot of Africans, but there is a limit and not all cultures are this way- especially in this day and age. People also need to understand that Africans have been through a lot and we don't all have the time to hug and entertain whoever shows up. It's an unnecessary pressure we do not need.
Thank you so much for sharing your heart!!! You've graciously put in words exactly what I've been explaining to my family in the US for over a year now. I'm moving to Ghana. " When I am in Africa, I expand" and " In the West I feel invisible because I am expendable". These two lines really hit home for me. Despite everything that I am grateful for living in the West, I have felt those two sentences deep inside for quite sometimes. Thanks for sharing.

Could this move to Africa have something to do with the pending war and natives needing so called African American strength it's military? The need for the West wanting to test vaccines out there will cause world leaders to promote private sector (UN troops) presence out there. I am thinking about the timeliness of this message...
@Joe Al Brother, you have to peel back the layers. Africa has wealth that the world has never seen but with their compromised government, they've allowed the UN to impoverish them. So what you have are untapped resources but a poor and impoverished people in it's space. World leaders want to exterminate these people and catapult these resources for Armageddon. All nations will need to jock for these resources to survive or be annihilated. When I was out there, Russia and China were already out there exploiting Africa. Sadly, this lady in this video and our distant brothers are out there to rip us off once we go out that way. Long story short brother, you are right. I wanted to explain the kind of fish you are smelling. Blessings, Ezekiel

I understand why you decided to do that because I grew up in Eritrea 🇪🇷 and now I know that life is not all about money even though it’s essential to buy something. I am so proud of you my sister and I wish you the best life and great success in your plan.
I'm Eritrean too but I was born here in the west yet I totally understand you lmao. The western culture is so cold and individualistic and just brutal
Water flows freely from my eyes hearing and listening to you my sister. God of Africa and our ancestors will help and support you to achieve your goals as you are coming back to the continent of the future. I'm really happy for you, your actions will inspire many to think of going back home. God bless you!
Many Blessings to you Dr Harmet🙏🏾❤️ I’ll be moving to Africa next year and I’m excited and filled with so much joy!
"You're so replaceable in the West" YESSSSSSSSSSSSS
futureshocked so very true! Its a very individualized society. Here you feel part of a tribe, a clan, a nation. Here i have a name and are a person, in the west you are a number, or outnumbered...
That hit me hard
Lol in Africa too. But row the boat to Africa...go ahead. Lol ..
Katharina K. But far less, thats the point.
@@ParamariboCloser well...Thts western world. One can't have all ok. But in Africa? For vacation. But ?? No thks...
Dr. Harnet, congrats on moving. I can't wait to follow.
Welcome my daughter. You are not alone with that spirit. May God empower His Angels to guide you through. Be blessed.
Take me with you!!!!🏃🏾♀️🏃🏾♀️🏃🏾♀️🏃🏾♀️🏃🏾♀️🏃🏾♀️
This woman really knows what she is talking about.
Am in Ireland and this video came at the right time. Thanks. Am yearning to go back to Afrika.
Yes Dr. Harnet , mama Africa is calling us and those who here the call will be truly blessed . Our young need you're truth and guidance . I will definitely be tuning in tomorrow to hear your words of wisdom . Ps safe journey sister 💕
Africa need you more than ever , go invest, teach, creat , contributing... much love and good lucky
Very refreshing listening to you and your journeying in life toward Africa.
Keep the good work going as others also coming right behind you to work for humanity and the benefits in that can be way more fulfilling as you had said.
Hi dr hanet,

I see you sister. Its good to spend our time and energy where it matters most. All the best.
I really wish you a good journey, and a lot of hopes on prosperity, progress, happiness and love for your next destination.👍👍👍
Very true Dr. Harnet in what you are saying, I would like to start a business there in either landscaping or farming - I feel like I am wasting my time here in Australia.
I can feel the spirit. And i'm moving very soon too. I appreciate the message.
This is amazing, I hope one day every black person will move back to Africa
So you be saying that South Indians, Indonesians, Micronesians, Solomon Islanders, Australian Aborginese all should go to Africa ???
@debrebal4 I also support the Idea " Every white man return to Europe "
@@user-mq6qv6bi2g They tried that, all the farms were stripped and there was nobody left who knew how all the machines worked. On the plus side, all the original African invented mud/stick technology was fine, so there's that...
@@user-mq6qv6bi2g If they want to, but they are not "going back" are they, they were never there in the first place. It's mainly the ones in my country that should be the first to go back, I'll be sorry to see them go but it is necessary
I just found your channel and I LOVE your channel. I am Canadian and my husband is Nigerian. I have felt as though Africa was calling me since I was 17 years old. I finally went to Nigeria in 2019. And it was the best decision, and such an awakening moment for me. This is the way I feel, thank you for your reassurances.🙏🏿
May God help you all achieve your dreams. It is so heartwarming to read that alot of you want to go back. With God's Will, i'll follow your footsteps someday. Make Africa great again!
Pretty African Lady... and I'm loving the mentality! 😎❤
20 years in America but now I have a dream I just want to spend more time back home thanks so much sister for the video
Africa is home , more blessings ,welcome ,i pray that you'll achieve all dreams and has already started
Good luck, I am proud you are from Eritrea.
Well done Dr. I’m envious, I lived and traveled in Africa for 28 years, been in New Zealand now for 10 , but miss the vibrancy of Africa and her people! Wishing you all of the very best, will look out for you if I get to Kenya again! 🤗
thank you for sharing i am from Ethiopian i will see you
I love Africa, I'm so blessed to call it my home.
I like that Dr Harnet he its time for a new chapter 💯 all the best in Africa 💯👍✈️✈️
I love your determination of going back to Africa.congratulations from Somalia
Africa is a continent with 54 different and unique countries as a Liberian from The Republic OF Liberia it’s good to hear and see our brothers and sisters from the diaspora moving and visiting the continent 🇱🇷🥳🥳🥳🥳
Congratualations. We are also exploring properties in Africa.
I agree. 52 sovereign nations, let’s not lump them all together!
You are absolutely right. I'm sick and tired of hearing these folks refere Africa as a country.
I can't help but wonder the same thing, it's such a large continent.
Less is more! We all need simplicity to enjoy this journey of life! Welcome home!
Thank you so much for sharing your heart!!! You've graciously put in words exactly what I've been explaining to my family in the US for over a year now. I'm moving to Ghana. Ive had literal dreams that God is pointing me there and the doors of Blessings and Purpose are opened; just waiting for me to walk through. I'm not afraid, Africa is where my story of life beganed.
You're so replaceable in the west, that's very true.

I'm young and feel like going to Africa, this video bought hope
young man, your comment touched me! You're on the right path - come up with a plan, quick, save and come back! Many of us stayed 20-30years in the West because "life happens"...you're young, you've energy, pick your trade, skill master it and save a few thousand and don't look back - not even for the most beautiful girl 🤣 she follows you here!
Thank you for your intent of coming to Africa. And i wish to be part of your trainings but one day it will surely come to pass. God bless you and us all, mother Africa.
This is so nice to hear Dr. Harnet ... I know you will expand even more now. Africa is gaining a "gem " Please will you be engaging your viewers with vidoes and guidance to do business we still need your asistance to get to know Africa!!
I really admire your courage and determination to help Africa by going to live there and show the way to those who might want to follow the same path.
Good for you. Well done. I had the same ideas like you. But could not make up my mind. Whether it was the Caribbean or Africa. In the end I chose the Caribbean. Its been 1yr now, and am good. You go go for it, and enjoy....
God bless you doc...continent Africa needs you
Thanks for inspiring me Dr. Harnet. My plans to go back home is underway! God bless my move🙏🏿🙏🏿❤️
Damm I feel like I'm missing out I have to get my ship together
How wonderful, my dream was to be come a nurse and join the Peace Corps. and serve Africans but my life did not go that well. God bless Africa and you.💗💗
Dr. Harnet, you are such a great inspiration! A lot of the things you said...I was actually thinking those things right before you said it. I have never been to Africa, but I have such an interest in Africa. Thank you for what you do! I hope that I can come to Africa one day.
After I finish a certain chapter in my life, i will be headed there as well. There's freedom and rejuvenation in Africa. There are some things that are more important and meaningful that I cannot experience where I am.
Africa, it is our time! Dr. Harnet, do you have any advice on the hand craft industry in Africa and trade opportunities in other countries?
Try Gambia is a virgin land that needs to be tap in
Good luck sister. We all trying to do the same.
We are financially very strong to undertake any volume of business

Thank you for you good and nice words about mother land...
Thanks Dr. Harnet... California is home for me now and originally from Nigeria.
I love Africa because there is no racism in Africa.
Hello,I am in Kenya,Nairobi. You are most welcomed.I would really like to meet and share some business ideas with you when you arrive.THANKS
Great video! This is exactly how I feel. This is why I’m moving back. I’m considering Rwanda a lot, but not certain yet.
So happy for you Dr. Harnet!!
Good job and splendid decision. You have an incredible idea about mother Africa. I humbly respect your ice breaking adventures.
" When I am in Africa, I expand" and " In the West I feel invisible because I am expendable". These two lines really hit home for me. Despite everything that I am grateful for living in the West, I have felt those two sentences deep inside for quite sometimes. Thanks for sharing.
I moved from Africa to the UK 20 yrs ago and its the best thing I've ever done, we all have different circumstances.
Welcome to the motherland. And thank you for the challenge to reflect on what really matters in life.
wow i think il be ready soon too i am kenyan but lived in the US for 14 years
You are beautiful just like your heart... Africans are always grateful and amazing people, welcome home and invest in Africa the blessed land of resources
Death is a blessing to call you back to what really matters only that we never know when it'll knock. I loved this video
LOVE you sister. May Allah bless your journey and only open up doors of success for you. I've been following your videos for at least 4 years and even purchased a course of yours 😊 Happy to see you make the move. And look, at the time of this posting you have 157K views! WOW!! Nice to see. Hope to meet with you when I visit Rwanda one of these days. May you always be blessed 🙏
Africa is rising!
