After taking in 900 animals this month, NoCo Humane needs help

The intake at the NoCo Humane animal shelter is a 63% increase compared to this time last year. FOX31's Gabby Easterwood visited the shelter where long lines and many adoptable pets awaited her.

This is sad. Both for the animals and the people. This is a very strong data point on how the economy is doing right now. People don't give up their pets unless they are in real financial dire straights. We're probably in a recession right now.
