- For our keyboards, we not only prioritize performance but also ergonomics, ensuring our keyboards are comfortable and suitable for long gaming sessions. Our design philosophy revolves around three core principles: ''As low as possible, least amount of angle and having a front height lower than 30mm.''

Love these update vids!
Wooting is absolutely killing it. Also cool vibe in the vid
Good update.
Keep it up👍!
This is really awesome.
Looks nice!!
Can’t wait to order one man
i can't wait for this to order wanted a 80 one and now i get one in wooting loveing it! I got the 60he and wanting to add another one to the list
@wooting you guys are amazing . I got my module 60 he ocean color, it’s amazing . The best custom high performance keyboard at a reasonable price compared to the current market of custom and performance keyboard. Looking forward to the 80 HE.
what??? its very expensive not even close to reasonable but at least it performs like the price
@@frostgodx have you seen the steelseries apex pro mini custom price ?
@@SP-by4vb SS is out of touch to the extreme thats why i overlook this one
i just bought a 60 HE+ , do i cancel it for the upcoming 80 or just buy both ?
also what is better the steelseries apex pro mini custom or the wooting 60 he+?
im new to this so help is gladly appreciated @@SP-by4vb
New board looks awesome. Hoping the next board is a full-size.
Hey my comment was in the Video :D
Im stoked about the first images of the Zinc version :) Hopefully there'll be a white version as a lot of people want that :D
omg 0:49 that is you from the 2nd photo
wish it was a 75% with a knob or just a TKL
exactly
Whooping I’m getting the keyboard delivered today I’ll see how good it is and ur gonna keep growing faster and faster whooting.
the moment a reputable company makes a version that is EQUAL to wooting they are 100% dead. Nobody wants to wait fucking months its 2024, their supply chain sucks ass, the business choices are terrible its quite obvious they are floating by the one amazing product they have created if you dig any bit
@@frostgodx But the wooting keyboard is worth waiting for... Best keyboard ive had
@@kcornelis606 i dont disagree they make the best keyboard hards down but the fact remains the supply chain issues cosplaying the pandemic 2020 levels of failure are not something people will continually sign up for when an alternative thats competent exists.
@@frostgodxwell you have Drunkdeer which not only is cheaper but rn as good as wooting. You also have ATK which offers almost entire Wootility functionality (excluding analog input) and even outperforms 60HE in terms of RT delay
didnt realise it was that bad i live in belgium and i order something from wooting i get it in 3 days i got my keyboard in 1 week i guess i got lucky
@@frostgodx
i love the idea of having interchangeable feet instead of the flimsy pop up things a lot of other gaming keyboards have, i think this is also gonna be nice for longevity! on my current keyboard that i absolutely love, the feet are glued on and after 4 years of use the little rubber (?) strips have come loose and just fall of and having to glue them back on is just a hassle i dont like dealing with so the idea of just popping new feet in if the old ones wear out makes me happy :D
i know other people have commented about this before but i really dont understand how negative some people are being about the 80% thing. maybe im gonna out myself as a bit of a dummy here but what even is the difference? like 5 keys and maybe an inch and a half in overall size? perhaps someone can explain why they NEED a scroll lock button on their board but ive never used that in my life. ive wanted to try the 60he ever since the hype started but i didnt wanna give up having arrow and F keys, neither did i want to go back to a full size so the 80he looks VERY promising. im looking forward to future updates!
this company is wooting the asses of corsair, razer and steelseries and OMG im soo happy to see it
🔥🔥🔥
What is polling rate, and how does it exactly look like on a keyboard? And what polling rate do we feature in our own Wooting 80HE? Calder discusses it in this video.
With the strong focus on ergonomics, are there any plans for a low profile keyboard in the future? (Think apple or nuphy air height) also a bit unrelated but silent lekker switches would be a very cool and appreciated addition to current switch lineup!
Weekly update on the 80HE - love it
This looks amazing! Can't wait to get one. I like the way you guys handled the feet for the keyboard too.
I really love the case showed on that video!
Also, I prefer this type of feet, than the classic plastic thing we can find on every other keyboard. I really appreciate all the work done for these keyboards, I usually don't comment, but I don't really like the "negative" vibe on some comments, and I want to support the Wooting team! Yes, like 90% of people there I would have preferred a 75% or a TKL, a 80% wasn't the best choice, BUT it's not a disaster either, it suits me well too, I just hope I don't need a specific keycaps format.
im so tired of people saying "oooOOO i would have preferred a 75% or a TKL"🤓. let me give you a reality check, just because you wanted it doesn't mean they can just restart their whole production, just face it they're not going to do that for you. And what's the matter with 80%? its just 5 more keys. Wooting may like seeing feedbacks on what should have been done but everyone should now at this point this "75%" or "TKL" is annoying.
The case in this video is a Post Consumer Recycled ABS with a mixture of speckles. We're experimenting a lot and will cover where we're at in the next update.
Appreciate placing the comment.
@@Wooting is the 80He releasing in April of sooner?
A 0 degree option would be amazing. I like a totallly flat keyboard
Would be better to use the angle mechanism like logitech does, which has 2 different angles implemented into 1 mechanism which are easy to use.
I definitely would've preferred flip out feet over this tbh.
I would like the silicons on black.
A version without the LED strip PLEASE!
Anyone know about what the cost is going to be about?
will the 80HE be better than the 60HE?
Nice stuff re silicone feet. I think there are opportunities to have different colors so folks can customize their keyboard appearance
That side profile looks amazing.
does applying moderate-heavy pressure cause the the board to sink with the silicone feet?
nice
Question about the allow-zinc case. What other reason besides cost reduction do you have to choose that material? It is less durable, less strong (not that its needed) and it will alter sound profile depending on composition and finish. This also most lilkely means it might be not CNCed and it will be made after a mold which is not bad if the QC is on point but hey lets see what happens
Please can you make a aluminium case for the wooting two he
I LOVE my Wooting 60HE, but you've already sold me on the Wooting 80HE.
need to be able to raise the front as well.
all the videos are very informative, you guys had me wondering how you categorize hand sizes how do i at home know what hand size i fit into? based on length? which in turn will make it easier to know what product is best suited for me? (me=everyone looking to purchase)
Will the wooting 80he sond better than the 60he?
i lik it😁
Can i have a little scroll wheel under my Spacebar so i can Bunnyhopjump on my left hand and easier Aim on the other?
Loving these weekly updates!
What are the dimensions of the 80he? Maybe i am blind but I couldnt find it listed anywhere.
can I use these on my 60he?
65% version now
Love the keyboard wish they had one button ~ cause path of exile market place uses this for searching items
~ Doesn't exist as a keybind in any language I am aware of. You'd typically find it via FN+Shift+Esc. If you need it as a single keypress, we have DKS binds for that.
Oo I'll try that thanks
Make a TKL if possible
Will it be wireless?
As long as it doesn't wiggle.
i wish the wrist rest could be part of the 80 he too, or at least with discount
Because we make our wrist rests of 100% silicone and not everyone uses a wrist rest, this would significantly increase the cost (= price) of the keyboard. That's why it's separate.
A lot of manufacturers that include a wrist rest, make these from plastic with soft PU on top. Sometimes they add a bit of foam underneath the PU. This is a lot cheaper to manufacture. We do not like these type of wrist rests.
Often, if a gaming keyboard includes a wrist rest, it's not a bonus , it's because the keyboard is too high and using it without a wrist rest is very uncomfortable.
The Silicone wrist rest automatically has a 10% discount when bought with a keyboard.
do you guys have any plan about a release date?
They're aiming for Q2/Q3
Ortholinear or split keyboard
split keyboard when...? 👉👈
I hope the feet will come in black to match the keyboard!
Will the silicone feet be included with the keyboard?
Yes! all of them. :)
I just hope we’re able to get it with lekker45 without having to buy modules
Lekker 45 is the worse magnetic switches, don't get them.
They wobble a lot even after lubbing and have literally no feeling at all/they are also very bad for typing.
I've resend these switches and my module to Wooting few days ago.
@@AquilaeYT you probably got bad ones, everything I’ve read about them was positive. It’s preferences, we should get the options. Now it’s impossible to get 45s if you don’t already have a keyboard. We should have the option
Finally someone that realizes a lower typing angle is more comfortable for your wrists. What's up with custom mechanical keyboards and their crazy typing angles these days? It's quite funny how they say they only have a front height of 17mm but then screw it up by making the typing angle so high.
Exactly this.
Not to mention that case height can be different depending on to what extent you do or don't raise the case to the keycap edges. You need to measure total keyboard height as how it's delivered stock, and otherwise name the keycap profile for reference.
Has a lot to do with looks, helps with the weight, and of course with sound. Theres low front hight offerings out there like the Geon Frog TKL and Frog mini and those are great keyboards.
How about moving the cursor keys further to the right, add the menu key, and the other three standard keys? Then it'll be an instant buy otherwise I will have to shop elsewhere as this doesn't suit my needs as is.
Could have saved yourself some effort by just asking for a TKL.
@@Default_Defect like the rest of us did for year+
Cool! These little bits of plastic are going to included with all your keyboards, right?
Obv not lol
@@kcornelis606 That's actually good, then they can't use them as an excuse for delays! NICE!
They will be included with all 80HE.
I just asked about this. Nice!
The thing we want to know what about the price?
time will tell, ppl guessed 180-220 mostly
@@user-qd4gf8hg8f yea thats what i was guessing too
This man really reads all his comments, he sounds more and more depressed each video - get well soon dude
Should have been obvious this isn't what anybody asked for they already just said fuck you we're way too far along in this to cancel now so they're forcing it out and people will still buy it because it's close enough to what they wanted
this comment LMFAO
haha shucks i just got the 100% keyboard 2 months ago cause 60 was too small and they just go and release the perfect 80% well whatever yall make the best keyboards ever i love mine so very much thank yall so much, ill probably still order ur 80 percent and get that new final mouse once my next pay check hits
Go for low profile version, just in the name of ergonomics and for these 5 guys (me included), who are huge fans of such keyboards.
its way way too late for this.. Though i would also love a low profile and millions of others wanted a TKL or 75% form too but here we are and have to make due with the 80he which will fill the gap well enough
i think you can just change keycaps mate
@@orion205it won’t make a difference. Keycaps don’t change switch travel and height of front of the keyboard. I have keychron k3 for work and it has flaws, but profile is perfect. I can type all day long and wrists don’t feel sore. Low profile is really underestimated niche. A lot of people could use it and they would be as satisfied as with normal profile keyboard. The market is on another track anyway and it won’t happen, what I’m disappointed with.
@@mikoajjanczak5605 ooh ok I see maybe change the case the pcb is thin enough
@@orion205 Maybe in the future. For now, I have the apex pro as the next best thing in terms of performance, and the price is much nicer if I have to prune some of my expectations
a normal tkl with floating key design is already perfect if you keep up the high quality like 60 he, but you decided to make all these things going into the wrong direction
Lovely progress. Very much loving the idea of Zinc version.
The only thing is that I feel like having plug-in rubber feet is a step backwards... does not seem like a good idea... like, at all.😅
it will be durable! and it will not be possible to break =) so thats not bad at all i think! anyway the majority will use the lowest one
You're right it's a terrible idea implemented late to solve the problem of stock typing angle and case room for gasket mount when you look at it like that it is actually a great idea
Do y'all have a price for the 80HE?
I wanna be able to buy this thing as soon as it drops
I think preorder is up already?
@@albanzon oh, Maybe I just missed it then lol. If you have the link could you reply with it?
@@albanzon no?
RIP you guys are right. I saw a yellow button and assumed it was preorder but it's to stay updated.
Respect for being different then all the other manufacturers who play things safe. If your going to be original might as well go all the way. One thing I would personally like to see is the cost come down on these keyboards especially if you get a certain number of pre-sales guaranteed.
Love it but
1 do the switches work with metal keycaps
2 will a metal case come with the keyboard or as a separate product
3 love it can’t wait for it to be finished
1. Yes. The 60HE and 2HE work with metal keycaps, and there's no reason why the 80 wouldn't also. :)
2. Yes, the "Zinc Alloy" case that Calder mentions in the video(s) is exactly that.
Forgot that zinc was a metal 😅
@wooting, did you see what logitech released? 60% keyboard - completely garbage compared to yours, but if you guys can take 1 thing from them is the volume knob. You know why people want a TKL format more than anything? Because of the flexibility, versatility, you can use it for documents, gaming and more, I think if you guys add a knob to the 80he I will 100% buy it, its pretty good to have in a 80 layout
I really love the display on the keyboards that have it maybe in the future you can add an OLED mini display that shows music, time, or settings or profile, or a custom animation.
Imo I think you guys should still go with the integrated feet. These detachable ones are going to be unbelievably easy to lose.
Hmm... not really sure about the execution on those silicone feet. That seems like a miss to me.
🔥🔥 Any price information?
Adjustable angle is always preferred.
Angle up for carpal tunnel or flat for a life free of pain lol
imo wise up and make a tkl
All other layouts larger than 60% are too big for me now lmao.
The reason why he isn't in a building is because he couldn't afford shelter after buying the keyboard
%75
I recommend instead of the silicon feet make the angle adjustable from within the keyboard like most other keyboards, it’s more convenient and u won’t lose any of these angle adjusters
You're not supposed to be changing them on a regular basis. You find the angle that's optimal for you and stick with them. :)
@@amshermansenthats assuming you dont move the keyboard or take it anywhere..... these things are getting lost for sure and then what? You dont have integrated feet....
@@TheStaniG The case will probably have a carrying slot for them
Pop the feet into your bag.
Kickstand feet are notoriously fragile and often break from almost nothing, due to the way they are designed.
@@amshermansen I never had a kick stand that broke, and it’s so inconvenient like what if I have a guest and he doesn’t like the adjustment I have and wants a bigger one, I would need to look through all my stuff just to find the right size for him
It would be nice to have the option to pick what kind of switch you want in the complete keyboard package. Then you don’t have to buy 70 or more other switches to swap them out and have a lot of switches laying around that you won’t be using. This would be a really nice configuration option for a consumer.
I’m for example considering the 60 HE but with the L45 switches instead of the L60 switches.
A black version would be cool but otherwise nice video thank you for the update
Tbh I'd like them have made a 75% so you can save a little bit of space but 80% doesn't seem that that bad.
Also, i commented this before but i think that the only thing this keyboard is lacking is the knob if it just have that it'll be the most convenient keyboard.
white version would be awesome, any gear should come in black and white by default.
Look mom that's me!
Aww well... seems my wallet is not safe then...
Is there anyway you can decrease the shipping price for the United Arab Emirates (Dubai)? because 50$ is insane !!!
Email us at social@wooting.io and we can look into it.
@@amshermansen alright 👍
Looks like FedEx is able to deliver at lower cost than UPS and is now added to the store. It should be significantly cheaper now.
I wish these keyboards came with a built-in usb type a/c for plugging your mouse/headset... They are the best in terms of latency and software.
idk why there wouldn't just be simple, built in height/angle adjustment? Separate feet for height/angle adjustment feels like a weird choice, and will no doubt cause people to lose track of them all the time
Will there be a discount for Customers that already have the 60HE?
why would they do that? genuine question, not trying to make fun of you
dont think so cuz its different keyboard, maybe if u own the 80 he and buy the periferials there is discount
@@user-qd4gf8hg8f I've seen discounts which apply if you own either the 60HE or 2HE so anything is possible.

Lmao...the Tofu case have already 2mm front size and it's already too high...i skip this one, ok my actual Ducky keyboard is really bad but doesn't break my wrist.
It's including keycap in that size
wth bro. who carry with him those foots? just keep it simple lol
Ohhhh i dont want to be mean but i realy dislike the idea of separate keyboard pieces. They are just going to get lost. Not a good idea in my personal opinion
Edit. I am a happy 60he user so im not a hater
pls TLK not 80HE
with visuals of 60HE
Put this thing in a sick aluminum body like the one you guys developed for the 60he.
Love you guys but that design looks so boring.
Why is this homeless man teaching me about keyboards??
Im just gonna leave my comment here to make sure theyre reminded they should have made a 65% instead of this and not put themselves in a developer echochamber. Aside from that, I HATE seperate items for keyboards that I 100% will lose. Integrated feet imo are always better lmao, this 80 is a trainwreck 😂
Pov: you use twitter
@@that-red-oreo-guy Hey now. That is an insult to Twitter users. 😏
65% is overrated and ugly
why make 65% when they have 60% already? if anything it should be TKL instead of 65%, and this 80 he is not very different, still acceptable. i agree on the integrated feet tho, but it must have reasons why its like this, either pricing/design or manufacture issue.
@@user-qd4gf8hg8f A R R O W K E Y S
Both the 65%ers and TKLers have been shouting into the abyss for this one small difference. But case support is huge for these, 80%? Not so....
stop trying to be different and put normal feet
very ugly design
Since you deleted my comment on the previous video and you are not able to take the negative messages to be able to improve you I will write you another Wooting is a company that takes 1-2 weeks to respond to your email message as well as for your order just send your keyboard to your home can take up to 1-2 months and more because it is still out of stock and it does not even have enough to make their order faster, 5-2 days ago we even ask people if he wanted to exchange their wooting 60he+ keyboard for the Wooting 60he so that he can deliver the order to people faster more than their discord is super toxic at the beginning you are well admitted until you ask too much question sa achale so in summary yes Wooting has an excellent quality for their keyboard my keyboard if you want to wait years to have it you are in the right place even apex pro takes less m's to send you the keyboard
We don't delete comments, perhaps youtube comments required manual approval? It usually happens when there is a link or certain keywords.
I'm glad to give a response.
Regardless of the situation, it's clear you've had a bad experience, and are not satisfied. I'm sorry to hear this, as it's not our intention. If anything, it's a result of the popularity making it difficult for us to keep up. We are continuously growing our customer service team, improving processes, and keep frequently communicating on all fronts. But we can't win them all.
When it comes to email responses, we prioritize time sensitive tickers, technical tickets, and then general inquiries. We try to provide as much as possible information concerning our estimated delivery times and set expectations on:
- Before purchase: Product- , Cart-, and Checkout page
- Post purchase: Wooting hub, product status page (wooting.io/product-status), Batch update page, and Discord
We recently introduced the 60HE+, but these will arrive at the warehouse later, to keep things transparent, we want to make sure we give people with an existing order a choice. Not that they find out about the 60HE+ after delivery, or they don't care for the + and want it earlier.
We do not intend to be out of stock, and we are actually producing quite a lot of keyboards every month, while we are also trying to keep the product advancing (see 60HE+ module, 60HE+). Productions don't infinitely scale, nor are they ready instantly. Making and delivering physical products takes a lot of time, effort, and planning.
When it comes to our Discord, we can't decide how certain, or a majority of people need to behave. We try to cultivate a safe, fun, and communal space were you don't need to pass a test to belong, just be yourself, honest, and fair. We do the same and intend to give the right example.
Hope this gave you some insight.
It's a stretch to compare them to Steelseries, yes they are competitors but they're also a fairly new and small company compared to Steelseries
