  • The Wooting 60HE is fast, customizable, and even sounds good for a gaming keyboard, but the only CSGO pro who seems to be using it is Zywoo. In this video I explain how this keyboard feels in CSGO, and why there aren't more pros using it.

    The Apex Pro lineup from Steelseries now has a nearly identical rapid trigger feature, although it isn't as customizable and they are still missing some things like mod tap. However, the apex pro is likely a lot more accessible so this is a great option if you can't get your hands on a wooting board or if you need a TKL layout.

      Was gonna head to best buy and pick one up today, but research has led me to quite a few people having issues of phantom keys being pressed or spammed even though you’re not touching them since their rapid trigger update. In some cases it sounds like it comes and goes, in others it sounded like they were completely unusable and essentially “bricked” because of the problem. Went ahead and just ordered a wooting instead. Yes it will probably be fixed but wasn’t willing to take a gamble and would rather just have something that I know will work out of the box.

      i had to return 3 apex pro minis because once the software was installed into the keyboard it would spam the keys. There was no way to factory reset it....I have one that "Kinda works". What i mean by that is....there are multiple profiles you should be able to use...for example you dont always want the keys to be super sensitive...so u would use a different profile...but the problem is when i toggle to a different profile...it wont let me toggle back lol so i have to unplug it and plug it back in....after returning 3 this is the best i got and i kept it...also ordered the wooting though lmao .

      Yeah, I recently noticed a pro I won't name, with his own branded keyboard he advertises using, slip up when he did a collab video with a content creator, and the content creator's different camera angle caught him with a Wooting 60HE, and his keyboard off to the side, lmao!

    • @paolo9038
      @paolo9038 3 місяці тому

      That's not true! There is no keyboard that makes your skill double overnight that pro players are trying to hide xDDD
      Simply wooting is the current meta, and most of osu players can efford it, expecially the keypad one.
      So basically it is a skill issue if people can't be super good at the game, there is no secret wooting keyboard that makes the game magically much easier.
      Complaining about rapid trigger in osu, is like calling tablet pens a cheat xD (which would actually make more sense, since plaing with mouse is hard to learn)

    • @YoBroISnipe
      @YoBroISnipe 3 місяці тому

      @@paolo9038bruh this was 10 months ago before keypad release. and top players like sytho were infact hiding their keyboard, saying its the hyperX. There's a 2 main of reasons:
    1. Deceleration is much slower in CS than Val, that's why so many pros use it in Val but not many in CS.
    2. CS pros are longstanding traditionalists, they've been playing the game since they were little kids and even stick to 4:3 aspect ratio (even some with black bars, negating the supposed "advantage" from larger player's on stretched) due to familiarity. Majority of the pros use mousepads with laughable quality such as the G640 and GSR for the same reasons.

    I've heard someone say that on a scale from 1 to 10 a regular mechanical keyboard would be rated as 9.5 and the wooting a 10 for CS, that the difference isn't that far away but on a high level when every millimeter and millisecond matters it makes a noticeable difference. Would you agree to that?

    • @rhodocs
      @rhodocs  Рік тому +5

      I would say if you want to get to a high level in csgo you can absolutely get there with almost any keyboard. Playing on a regular mechanical keyboard won't stop you from reaching your potential but there is an advantage to having a faster keyboard

    I love this keyboard, but I still don’t understand the difference between continuous rapid trigger and the default rapid trigger, for some reason I can’t feel a difference, what are you using?

    • @rhodocs
      @rhodocs  Рік тому +4

      From what I understand if you have continuous rapid trigger on then rapid trigger stays on until you completely let go of the key, whereas if you have continuous rapid trigger off then it turns off when you release past your set actuation point. So if you had your actuation point at 2mm but continuous rapid trigger on at 0.15mm, once you pressed the switch down past 2mm now rapid trigger is on at 0.15mm until you fully let go of the key (you can spam the key really fast until you completely let go of it). For my settings it doesn't matter because I play with 0.1mm actuation and 0.15mm rapid trigger. Wootility code: 0c727bec57b350228b57a3e89f75d2c8491d

      If you want to use analog movement in csgo then you'll probably have more configuring to do, but faceit doesnt allow you to use it in the analog mode so i havent looked into it much. You can get the same rapid trigger effect if you don't bottom out every time you press the key, you can just rest your fingers on certain keys, and get the same actuation speed if you know how much weight you can rest on the switch before hitting the actuation point.

    I’m a little late to this vid. I’m going to be honest here, I tried many many keyboards and I played cs for more than a decade as well. Also I’m a kz enjoyer as well. I found that since this is new technology, and cs and valorant had optimized their counterstrafing mechanics for “normal” keyboards. You can get really good with just a gateron switch counterstrafing. Considering 99% of cs and val players can’t counterstrafe forward and back or diagonally either, only with A-D, for a normal user this keyboard won’t increase their performance by a lot or not at all. All that said, if you have 200€ for a keyboard, yes this is the best keyboard for gaming hands down. But please don’t buy this keyboard because you think it’s a cheatcode for counterstrafing.

      @@rhodocs Yeah faceit don't allow it and that fast shift walk speed has been patched in normal matchmaking too. The only advantage like that you can currently get is accurate shooting while walking speed. You can set your velocity be just below 80 units which is little faster than crouch walking speed and still be accurate. It's quite a lot slower than normal walking speed but it can look hilarious when you are just walking and tapping heads and being accurate at the same time.

Plenty of CSGO pros use and get very far with wired mice despite wireless being the new king. Pros dont use the wooting yet because of availability of the full size for the past 6 months and not many people seem to talk about it outside of osu and fortnite, but i think this will change once the player break starts (after katowice) aka when cs2 comes out :)
    barely any other high elo players even have one, since they are pretty expensive for amateurs and not many people know the benefits (yet)
    the biggest advantage is most definitely the actuation distance for counter strafing, it makes it almost impossible to mess it up, and i agree that walking and crouching are impossible to get used to with rapid trigger, so it's only good for wasd
