This looks absolutely amazing Thad! You should be proud of your self! You really put a lot into this. Once that clear coat went on , that was a finisher for sure . It will be a sweet reward to see this thing in action. Maybe Throw some Beavis and Butthead action figures inside for drivers!🤘🏽😝
It looks amazing, the special touch with the tailgate looks ventage. The clear coat makes the decal stand out more, I think. Job well done Thad, now just waiting to see the true finished product and first run. Take care. 💯💯🤜🤛
Thanks Al, you’re correct, definitely makes the decals pop more with Clearcoat.. now that the body is done building will commence. Mostly stock but with some nice little upgrades. Grayson doesn’t know it but he’s getting his own so I had to upgrade mine a bit 😂
All the body shell problems but in the end you have ended with a great looking body. Nice you can get the right decals for it and loved the tail gate detail very nice. Looking forward to seeing it run 🙂
3rd time is a charm 😁 mci has decals for all the old school monster trucks for a good price.. I’m looking forward to getting this thing built. Should run good with those Holmes hobbies motors
It’s weird, I’ve painted cars, motorcycles, helmets, heavy equipment, and of course guitars and never had the troubles models give me sometimes. But it turned out well and I love it. Just finished painting the front marker lights and the tail lights a bit ago. Wait til you see the body that was broken. I fixed it and am gonna do something awesome wit also for a little blond turd I call Grayson lol
@@IowaBudgetRCBashers Same, same.... I've painted Cars and Bike Tanks. I've also painted many HO Scale Trains (my first Hobby). BUT, painting 1/10th Scale Cars and Trucks has been somehow more difficult!! 🤔 Not big enough? Not small enough? I don't know lol 😆 MAY go back to using an Airbrush. Worked with the other stuff! I'm doing a Lexan Clod Body for my little blonde monster, Greyson! 😜 Don't want him smashing the hard body.
That's a cool paint job! So this is an existing car, this is modeled after? I really like that colour scheme, it all goes really well with the black! I can only imagine how cool this would look on a buggy, maybe I try that one day, I'm not much of a truck guy, ha ha! I'll definitely be looking out for your next videos on this, at least for when you get it out running!
Excaliber was a monster truck in the 80’s and was the first monster truck to have suspension designed by computer aided drafting. It was also the truck that Tamiya modeled the clodbuster after back in 1987
