Great videos mate,I have a super clod buster on my list of builds along with the Agrios. In your opinion is the clod worth upgrading or more fun keeping as standard?.
Hi Mike! Thanks! You will love the builds of both those monster trucks. Very different though! As for the Clod, I'm leaving mine stock as it's a hoot just as it is. Might be worth adding a couple of peppier motors later but remember you can't used timed motors like the Sports Tuned as the rear motor works in reverse. Have fun with them, mate! 😎👍
Cheers, Brian! Yes, I did paint the body and it came out pretty good. If you are interested you can see it here: ua-cam.com/video/RdAGDbL37mA/v-deo.html
On Step 4, I notice when you attach the metal plate on one side with the BH3 6mm ball connector on the other, there are gaps in between designed for captive nuts, however the manual doesn't show inserting them. I put them in anyway as it would seem to add strength, though I do worry I'll be short 4 nuts at the end of the build. Anyone whose come across this, I'd like to know what you did! Thanks :)
I must admit I never noticed those gaps when I built mine. I haven't had any issues though. Thanks for pointing that out, I wonder if anyone else did the same as you? 🤔👍
@@IowaBudgetRCBashers Hi Thad, something crazy is going on, you put it together the same but your dogbone end e clip is not flush against the bearing like mine is. @@BlackSeaRC Yeah, I always wanted one, too, but they are expensive for what they are... never heard of the Double Dare, but thanks to you I will be avoiding it! I only have the Scorpion, and I really love that buggy! Cheers!
Hey Mark! Have you upgraded the clod yet? Any upgrade in the motors?
Hey Chris! No my friend, the only upgrades I did was to fit ball bearings and steel pinions. As this is a special version (and from the RC Elf) I like it the way it is! I may get another standard Clod later and hop that bad boy up!!!
@@MarkBryanRC very good 👍
Great videos mate,I have a super clod buster on my list of builds along with the Agrios.
Nice video thanks . Did you paint the body or leave it ?
If using two servos do I do both the same time or one at a time?
I think the only way to fit 2 servos is to fit one on each axle so that would be one at a time! 😎👍
Asking for part numbers or links to purchase the not included items that are needed or or upgrades that work
I think the only parts I upgraded were the metal bearings. I got them from rcbearings.co.uk
Worst part of building the clod is those damned E clips
You got that right Thad, but it ain't so bad when you can just use the bench to pop them on! Cheers, dude!
Nemesis🤣😉
@@RCBirds 🤣🤣😉😉👍👍
@@MarkBryanRC watching this again, mine is put together identical to this. I dunno what I’m doing wrong
@@IowaBudgetRCBashers Hi Thad, something crazy is going on, you put it together the same but your dogbone end e clip is not flush against the bearing like mine is. I think the e clip on the gearbox end must be in the wrong slot, other than that your kit must have come with wrong sized axle tubes!!!!!!
I hope that isn't the radio you're using!!!!!!!
Spectrum ALL THE WAY!!!!
It sure is the radio I use, Ralph! I love my twin-sticks! 😅👍
Awsome thanks!

Thank you! 😎👍
