- Let's check out the new 2024 Traxxas Maxx Slash Short Course truck RC Basher! Will this be better than the Arrma Mojave? Will the Traxxas Maxx chassis be good for a short course truck? Will it replace the Traxxas UDR? Let's find out!

If this ends up being a sales success don’t be surprised if they use this chassis for a baby XRT and I’m all for it
Max Sledge!
@@DoRC it’ll entirely come down to cost if it’s over 650 dollars for this maxx sledge, then it will cannibalize sledge sales. A baby XRT that’s a sister to the maxx would be the shit at 600 bucks
$700? Too expensive! $699.95? Just right.
- Traxxas marketing dept.
699.99 and not a penny more!
I was exactly correct! 🤣🤣
Dam this maxx slash looks awesome man everybody is talking about it!🤩
Yeah pretty much anytime Traxxas or arrma releases something there's a lot of hype
You know we're subbed up & ready for this RC drop
Awesome thanks!
@@DoRC What do you think is better. Im torn between a Kraton 6S EXB or Mojave 4s? I casual bash, play around in the grass, parking lot. Just looking to have some fun.
@@Moyersteven1 if you want to jump and do stunts get the Kraton. If you're going to be doing mostly flat and ground stuff and want to save a little money get the Mojave.
This is the most exciting RC news for a long time for me. This is somewhat different even though it's based off two already existing cars. Whether I'll buy one or not, I'll be paying attention to every video about it that will be coming out. Including yours of course. Great stuff being this early about it. Thanks! 🙂
Yeah I'm pretty excited to get one! Thanks for watching :-)
599.99. Any more than that is ridiculous. But whatever price it is people will still buy it.
Probably.
Traxxas max slash ultimate $899.99😆
@@andrewsaaranen3906 spoke to my LHS. Confirmed 699.95. Absolutely idiotic
@andrewsaaranen3906 sounds about right :-)
I have always wanted Traxxas to build another vechile using the MAXX platform. It has been my best vechile. Unreal durability and a very smooth and powerful system. This is something that will need to get purchased when it comes out. Wouldn't be surprised if they eventually also start offering a 6s Raptor R as well although for now, this Slash Maxx does the trick.
I want to see a Maxx Sledge!
Oh yeah ! Can't wait to see the off road speed runs. Price point maybe the make or break for this rig.
Hopefully it will get released soon :-)
70 MPH*
*Speed pinion, modified battery strap, specific battery, different body & down hill with the wind behind it.
In a vacuum :-)
I got the Mojave 6s, I really cant see it beating it especially with the upgrades it has, but even stock there awesome machines.
Not sure. The Mojave is one heck of a truck. The Max platform is tough though and if they do this right it could be a contender.
@@DoRC I thinking its more of a competition to the Mojave and UDR, I know the Slash we have now Is good but neither handle as good as the Mojave but I'm looking forward to people getting this truck and seeing what its all about for sure.
This will definitely be able to beat the Mojave
@@Norm2120I agree. The Maxx has a bomb proof platform. The new Mojave's come with Arrma's new flawed, issue prone Spektrum esc where the vechiles contantly cut out when running full throttle. So maddening I got rid of a new Mojave and am just dealing with it in the new Kraton exb and Big Rock. Never had this issue with the Maxx. These issues are not one off issues either. They are widespread so as long as this new Slash MAXX can drive without cutting out, it will be beat down the Mojave.
My man! Always the best rc videos out there!!! Thanks for the info! What is this truck for? Fast laps? And small jumps? I kind of want one. Thinking about getting the Xmax but I sure do like speed.
Yeah pretty much. Check out my video on the Mojave 4S. This will be for similar types of bashing. Pretty much anything short of actual stunts like backflips and huge air etc
Great video! I learned several new things about this truck including that they've disguised the wheel washers from the Maxx to look like part of the wheels. Clever!
You mentioned that Traxxas' current 3S batteries won't fit in the Maxx battery tray. They actually fit great if you put two of them side by side instead of stacked. Also, this Maxx Slash appears to have a Sledge-style battery tray rather than a Maxx battery tray. The tops are different.
Yeah a few people have mentioned this. I was under the impression that they didn't fit. I can't remember why. I thought I had tried them myself at some point but it must have been something else I was trying to do.
Honestly excited to see it. I’m always a fan of new things. Yeah old idea but new size/design so it shows the hobby still has interest.
Yep I'm excited too!
That looks sick! I have a udr, but that slash looks like a beauty!
Yeah it's pretty sweet. It's definitely going to be more durable than the UDR.
Awesome video man! Puts mine to shame lol.
Just watched your video. It's actually pretty good and looks like it got you a pretty decent amount of views versus how many subscribers you have. Keep pushing and you'll keep getting more!
@@DoRC thank you very much for the feedback! I really appreciate it.
@FAST_RC You're welcome :-)
I'm excited can we get my hands on it looks so awesome and i looks like it's going to be a beast thanks for the update and stay safe
Not sure yet is they haven't even officially announced it yet. Should be soon hopefully though
It would be so cool if Traxxas made this under $600. I believe they could pull it off, it may be even cheaper to produce than a Maxx. As an Arrma fan, it looks alot like a 4s Mojave w a 6s ESC, should be easy to make it $550
If they can price it similar to the Mojave I think that would be fantastic.
can't wait for it to drop it'll be a nice brother for my UDR
Might be a while for that. I guess it depends on how well they sell.
This looks cool but not a fan of the sledge battery box configuration it beats the hell out of the packs. The VXL6 esc need I say more?
I completely agree. I always recommend going to a strap style conversion and putting foam padding in. The style is convenient but definitely not best for your batteries.
I stopped by the Traxxas HQ store in McKinney, TX today and asked them about it. The guy kinda hesitated for a sec, then said it doesn’t exist. Took that as they weren’t ready to announce it yet.
I mean I suppose it's possible that it's a fake but if it is someone put an awful lot of work into it. There's a bunch of unique parts on the truck and the box alone would have taken many hours to design.
Oh I think it’s real and they do know about the leak. He said a lot of people have been asking about it. I just think they can’t discuss it at the moment.
@@CSNDT I wonder if they will release it early or not because of the leak
@@DoRC I pop in there once a week. I’ll keep asking. They usually stock their store before the hobby shops so I have a good chance to see it early. Slash is my fav RC so definitely want to pick this one up.
Looks amazing, but the fact that you probably have to change esc, servo and maybe motor at the get go, and that tires probably need constant regluing, makes me a bit hesitant to preorder. I’ll probably still be looking for a Mojave instead, if I’m ever going to buy a SC.
The Mojave is definitely a known quantity. I'll be curious to see if they updated the servo from the max or if it's the same one. I suspect it will be the same though and if that's the case it probably will need to be upgraded.
How many diffs ????? 2 or 3 ????
Three
@@DoRC That’s nice !
I was worrying they keep the same Maxx transmission 👍
@1980VINZ The max has three differentials.
@@DoRC Nope…. The center is a torque absorber, kind of « limited slipper » or kind of « clutch »
So the MaxxSlash should be the same, 2 diffs…
@1980VINZ you might be thinking about the cush drive which the max also has but it has a center differential. Look up the exploded view transmission assembly and you will see it. It is detailed in the upper right hand corner. Comes with 20 million stock.
Traxxas does now make a smaller 3s 5000mah battery that is shorter than the original. Two of them might fit.
A few other people have mentioned that the $5,000 batteries will fit side by side in the max tray so I suspect that's what they're doing here as well. I didn't think they would fit but I must have been thinking of something else.
Does the remote that you picture coming with actually as then does the switch mean diff locking 🤔
Awesome intel here Kenni😎
Thanks for sharing 💥😁
Can not wait to see one in action ☺️
Oh no it's just The first TQI picture I found. It's not actually the one that comes with the car and I doubt the one that comes with the car will have that switch. Though sometimes Traxxas packs in random TQI remotes with cars that don't actually need those switches so you never know :-)
With the LCG style chassis, I already can see somebody is building a smaller scale XRT in their head.
Will be interesting to see what they charge for it.
Maxx Sledge!
@@DoRC
And that's why you are the man!
My simple redneck brain would never thought of that 😆 🤣
Competition only makes the hobby better. I can't wait to see what this can do. If it's as durable as the Maxx and as fun as the Mojave it'll be a fantastic. As long as they don't discontinue the UDR, one of the greatest scale rc's in history, I'll be super excited.
I suspect this is going to be very durable. The max is already a tough platform and short course trucks are inherently protected by the body so I would be surprised if this thing wasn't a tank.
Now to be honest, it could see this being a fun truck to mess around with, though I may also just get a 6 s motor for my slash.
Yeah they're pretty fun. The new 4S Mojave is a blast.
I’ve never had any body with the rear twist & lock come off aside from the Xmaxx. Hoss, rustler etc have held on to very hard crashes
Max and X-Max come off all the time. Sledge not quite as bad. The wrestler being a smaller car will inherently have a less flexible body so it's less susceptible to it but I still had my rustler body come off multiple times. I've never had my XRT body come off though
2 of the Traxxas 3s 5000mah do fit in the existing Maxx v2 chassis if you put them in on their sides like the sledge batteries.
Ah ok. It's been a while since I used Traxxas batteries and didn't think they would.
I like this a lot
I'm pretty excited for it!
I assume it has a plastic spur, traxxas was more than happy to ship that on the erevo and honestly never had an issue with em. Same goes for the xo-1. Also being longer I assume it’ll be the same batteries as the sledge.
It's not the length I'm concerned with it's the width. I don't think that the max tray can fit two three s battery side by side of the Traxxas variety.
I think they can get away with a plastic spur but they might put a metal one in just because that's what people are expecting to get at this price range.
4s is perfect
Yeah but 6s is more perfecter!
it's going to be very heavy and going to need the 6s to move decently. the current slash is nimble on 3s
I actually expect it to be fairly light for its size especially compared to something like the Mojave. It's going to be all plastic and really shouldn't be very heavy.
@DoRC I haven't weighed a 4s mojave but a good idea would be to put them on a scale.
rock and roll is the 4th color
Thanks!
Hope the handling is as good as the mojave
We'll see. It might even be better given that the body is certainly going to be lighter so it could have a lower center of gravity.
I hope to see this chsssis used for a called down XRT
I've heard that a lot. I think that is a definite possibility since it really wouldn't take much to go from this to that. You really only looking at different bumpers a different body and a few other bits and pieces.
This is coming sooner than u think!! (This week) It will cost $700(fact).
Nice looking rig and will be tearing the grounds up with mine. The only ones who will and are saying its junk are the fanboys of a brand that keeps making the same damn thing over and over with the only change being the size of thier vehicles. Come up with something different and I'll start buying yours again too!! Good job Traxxas!!!!
I'm excited to get my hands on one!
At first the way I found out and then it disappearing off the web(unless u were able to grab a screenshot) I thought it was fake. But I got confirmation from "my source"("my source" LMAO) today. I can't wait!! It's Christmas in February/March!!!! Lol. I don't get overly excited about a "new release" too often, But I definitely got that itch right now. (And it ain't no std's 😅)
Thanks for the breakdown!! and have fun with your "MAXX SLASH"!!!!
@@BGBG-dq2rd will do and thanks for watching :-)
It'll probably use 2x 3s 5000mAh batts used on the Sledge
Yeah but will they fit width wise in the max tray?
For 6s use, I’d immediately ditch the plastic battery cover and use Velcro straps instead. That’s what I did on my v2.
Agreed. I think the quick release latches are not a great idea for any of their models.
@@DoRC yes. And velcro does wear out after a good long while but it’s super cheap.
@@rctd3260 I go a little fancy with my straps. I really like the Kevlar ones that you can get a few different places. I've broken standard velcro multiple times
Excited for more (official) info...ya got that right. Will I buy...undecided (like many others, I'm still extremely pissed regarding his they handled going after 3rd-party manufacturers of upgrade parts, especially parts related to the TRX4m).
Just to clarify the third party manufacturer thing was a mistake. Traxxas hired an external company to go after some big Chinese corporations that were using their trademarks to create counterfeit stuff and that external company got a little overzealous. That situation was corrected very quickly after it was discovered.
@@DoRC Honestly, I don't know anything about Traxxas hiring an external company to do their work (especially considering Traxxas has their own (albeit, small) lethal department, but, I will agree that 'corrections' to the problem caused were made very quickly. Unfortunately, damage (as I'm sure you could agree) was already done to various business (particularly smaller ones). While almost all survived, a few (from what I understand) weren't able to pull out from the damage cause. If the 'external company' thing is true (I'll have to do some research), I'm willing to forgive.
@@ninthislandrc yeah I'm just going off of what I was told but it's certainly possible that what I was told was wrong. I did hear it in a UA-cam video from one of the aftermarket companies that was affected themselves but I can't remember which one it was now.
@@DoRC Something that could be considered 'interesting' about that whole situation...and, not in good way...is that, for the best of my knowledge, none of the larger, well-known, producers of upgrade parts (such as RPM, Tekno, etc) were affected. Only the small, and medium, sized companies appear to have been affected by the "targeting".
Let me know when you get the Truck!! This one I am for sure interested in.
Make sure you hit that Bell so you get notified of the videos when they come out!
One thing I've noticed is the chassis is longer than the Maxx for stability, and different batteries should be able to fit it.
It's not the length of the tram concerned about it's the width. I'm not sure two 3S traxxas batteries will fit with wise in that tray
True, didn't think about that. @@DoRC
@850RC who knows though. It's hard to glean exact dimensions from pictures like this so they might have just made the tray wider. It would probably make more sense for them to do that then to come out with special batteries just for this model.
I think it would be awesome if they made a maxrt.
Well now that they've got an LCG chassis it wouldn't be too hard for them to. Max Sledge on the way?
My only concern is that they price this at $800 just given the popularity of the Slash. That would be problematic.
Yeah I'm hoping that the fact that it's on the max platform means they're aiming for a lower price point.
Rock 'N Roll
That's what it was :-) thanks!
I look forward to your video. But not very excited about the slash itself. I feel they should have made a specific chassis for this 6s slash.
My Maxx is about 14” wb and for them to get this to 16” like a UDR, those bulkheads are gonna be stretched. Might result in more breakage imo.
Also, the esc, they really should focus on making better electronics. Most of my Traxxas RCs needed a new esc and motor. They seem to under power by 1 scale. Like their 10th scale really needs an 8th scale per plant, 6th needs a 5th scale, etc.
But your vids are always fun!
Might get a Mojave just to spite Traxxas 😂😂😂
Yeah I don't disagree with anything you're saying here though I do believe that they'll have less issue with things like bulkhead breakages just because short course trucks are inherently more durable due to the fact that the tires are smaller and the body covers everything.
@@DoRCI was actually wondering if those clipless mounts could be fitted to the Maxx. That would be cool if they update that for the Maxx and its internal cage.
I was hoping it was a longer chassis too because I wanted to stretch my Maxx 😁
@gillyboyNY maybe though I think the chassis are going to be different enough from each other that I suspect no parts are going to be interchangeable other than maybe things like hubs and knuckles.
I just hope it is not overgeared. The Maxx provides a nice smooth power delivery throughout the Spectrum. The Sledge and 3s Slash on the other hand, are surge happy machines with zero smoothness. I found the 4s Mojave to be the same. For many, they may like that if all they want to do is drive at top speed constantly. However that causes overheating and rapid battery consumption. Many of these non-sensored stock brushless systems have gotten much smoother in recent years. Traxxas 4s system as well as the 6 and 8s Spektrum systems. Hpi also offers a great driving system on the WR8. The 6s Velenium system in the Sledge is for me, miserable to drive hence why I got rid of it. I am hoping this new iteration is better in this vechile but we will see. I guess you could drop it to a 4s but using 4s on a 6s system usually comes at a signifant power cost. I almost wish they just used their 4s system but we will see.
I suspect the power system will be the same as in the sledge. It's possible they updated it though.
Much prefer belted tires all around. Though I found they made the most difference with the x trucks. It’s not a necessity for 3s trucks for me
Yeah it's definitely just a personal preference. I much prefer non-builted tires for any of my bashers for extra ballooning and crazy stunts but it definitely is a negative for anything high speed related
Definitely gonna be $649 at the least. My guess is $699😭. I’m gonna need to save up for a few decades.
That's my guess too.
I'll stick with my Mojave 💪🏼💪🏼 Also imo traxxas electronics are junk so not much value at all if you're going to have to swap them out at some point
Nothing wrong with that. Mojave is a beast. Have you tried the 4S Mojave yet?
They should have built a new platform , oh well I see me converting my maxx to this, change shock towers, motor esc and cowling lol😅 and save few bucks in process
Maybe though if they can adapt this one it would hopefully make it cheaper and at least some of the parts and upgrades will already be available.
I think it's going to be more than that. I'm not sure there are going to be any parts that aren't things like the actual differentials themselves that are going to be the same between the two.
I think it will be possible to do, but once I see with my own eyes and can be done I'm making a video on my channel
And if front and rear bulkhead bolt pattern same that can be changed
overpriced.
Probably
Well, that goes without saying! Lol
I’m not a fan of Short Course trucks but for high power vehicles I do like full plastic chassis better than aluminum chassis vehicles.
I think they both have their advantages and disadvantages but the max platform definitely is beefy.
@@DoRC I’m also not a fan of Horizon’s half baked releases that always need upgrades to be useful. Traxxas seems to test the actual produced products but Arrma seems to be good on paper but given Horizon doesn’t own their production they rarely get what they need
@jonthomas8487 I think all cars for mom manufacturers have their weaknesses out of the factory. I suspect that this thing's going to need a servo pretty much right away and maybe a few other bits and pieces like c hubs if it's like the maxx
Scale 1/8?
Basically yes
Thing is you won’t be able to crash it as it’s a Trx it’ll break drive in a straight line
Just like my maxx
I don't know. In my experience the max is one of the most durable out of the box trucks ever made. It's got a couple of fairly easy to fix weak points but once you do that it's a tank.
I don’t know ether people say it is super durable but in my experience has been the worst rc I have
@RcSpeedFreak-kk8wj That's really weird. I've had three or four of them now and my current one is my daily off-camera basher. It's never been in a video but I keep it around because I know that I can take it out thrash it and not have to repair it every single time I put a pack through it.
Yeah I would love if it’s did work for me but it just fails me I think I need a Metal motor mount
Non belted tires would eat up the fenders
Maybe though the Mojave 4S, Mojave 6s, UDR and 3S slash all come with unbelted tires.
I think they missed the mark. The 6s sct market is covered. Why add another? Why not a 8s basher type sct? The scale 8s sct is covered by the SBR 2.0. I love mine but it's no basher. I've been hoping Arrma would make a 8s Mojave for me but I'd buy a Traxxas if they did.
Price wise i bet this is more than a UDR. A 6s Mojave is $649 and Traxxas has no interest in competitive pricing.
Maybe though they did have to drop the price of the sledge so it seems like they are listening at least a little bit. I think that anytime a company can come out with something that's competition to another company they're likely to want to do it. Traxxas doesn't really have a 1/8 scale short core style basher. The UDR really isn't made to be a basher so I think this is a decent thing to do.
@@DoRC maybe. But it's gonna be hard to beat the 6s Mojave in performance, durability, or price. The UDR is a great scale 6s sct and Mojave is a great basher 6s sct. The SBR 2.0 is a great scale 8s sct but has no basher equivalent. That's why I say Traxxas missed out on a great opportunity to fill a rare gap in the market and instead stuffed another into a space that's filled near perfectly. This is still better than that silly Snap on car recently tho. Check that price again and legit say Traxxas will sell this for less than $700. I'm thinking closer to $849 - $899.
I guess all those buy a mojave if you want to bash a udr comments may be adding up hahahaha. I think it's kinda like the sledge. I feel i have the truggy thing on overkill with all my 6s arrmas already. Having 7 mojaves i don't need to pick this one up. The sct body is kinda blah with the back end being all molded but if we ever get another design to fit that wheelbase i'd be interested. I love my udr's for the realism and customization. For now i'm working on a fiesta rally and a 6s senton turned focus rally car.
Yeah I agree. They don't really have any answer to the Mojave and people really seem to like those so this is a pretty reasonable thing for them to release. I'm hoping since they put it on the Max platform it's also going to be reasonably priced but we'll see.
@@DoRC There is no chance this won't come at a premium cost. I am thinking $750 to $800. Remember, the Sledge was $800 when it first came out. They are gonna price this higher just for being a 6s. They are charging $550 for 3s vechiles for goodness sakes. Plus, the Sledge does not have belted tires and thos does. I cannot see this pricing lower than the $700 Sledge.
700 hard pass I'm gonna get the k6s exb rtr for that and it's a lot better platform.
Have you seen the price somewhere?
I think it will be 600$ max. 700$ sounds WAY too much imo. Still getting the sledge next. Just got Hoss, and Maxx and next is Sledge! Got a custom slash/rally mutant I built, uses rustler tires 😂
I hope that's right and hopefully that's why they went with the max platform and not the Sledge platform for it but I'm afraid it's going to be 700. We'll see though
@@DoRC im afraid too, if its more than 650$ i will not get it frankly.
$699.95! You nailed it. Too much for me. You saw the email right?
👍
Thanks for watching :-)
Is this truck relevant in 2024?
Why wouldn't it be?
It’s cool I’m a traxxas girl but for me not worth the $700 they are asking would rather have seen something better I feel like them driveshafts are going to be twizlers lol they did on the maxx with the widekit
Have you seen the price somewhere? Speaking of twizzlers did you ever see those anti twizzlers that everybody was getting for a long time when the steel axles weren't available
If they don’t give us a Truggy body system to incorporate I’ll be saddened. Why do we want a giant short course truck. Short course trucks aren’t great at really anything. Now if you widen it and put a Truggy maxx body on with larger tires for air control, I’m all in.
I think everybody has their opinion on this. Personally I'm not a huge fan of SCT for the kind of bashing that I do but if you don't do a lot of jumping and mostly just like bombing around they can be really good.
@@DoRC I’ve owned a slash and a 6S exb Mojave. They were somewhat fun in the beginning. But, as a everyday basher, pass. Once you turn it into a Kratonxl variant, the car turns into a blast! Can’t wait to see your videos on it.
I’m just kinda curious if this was a soft release to see our reactions?
TRAXXAS, are you listening to us!??? TRUGGY THIS THING, please 🙏
@Havingoneofthosedays- it's possible but more likely that this was a mistake. Track is usually controls their releases pretty tightly.
They probably made this becuase people try and bash the udr and then complain when it breaks
Probably. A hardcore basher of UDR proportions is definitely something that's been missing from there inventory
If they keep price under 649 it will b a hit
That would be nice. I'm suspecting 700 though.
I don’t understand lol, why all there new cars all look alike lol it’s a cheaper UDR or Mojave lol
I think their goal was to make it look like the 3S versions since it's such an iconic look but I kind of agree that it does just kind of look dated. I guess we'll have to see how it is in person.
I don't want it. Id just buy the Maxx.
The maxx is an awesome truck. My current off-camera daily basher is a V1.
I will resale my mojave 4s tonight because this one seem better :)
I don't know. I'd hold off. This has the potential to be really good but it also has the potential to not be good.
It better not be a thousand
I doubt it will be. I'm going to guess 700 but wouldn't be super surprised if it's a little more than that. I'm hoping since they put it on the max platform it will actually be more affordable. If it was on the sledge platform I'd be really worried.
I guess it will be $800 if its close in size to UDR but you can actually bash it since the UDR is not a real basher.
People have been asking for a Slash in UDR size and here it is!
The arma karens will hate oh well thats all they do with their life 😂
I'm hoping it will be less than that. Since this is going to be direct competition with the Mojave it really needs to be similarly priced. The sledge was priced too high to begin with and they had to drop it. Hopefully they learned their lesson.
@@DoRC i hope so too but i dont see it costing less than a UDR and the UDR has only gone up in price and its a SLASH the most famous sc truck in the world 🤙
I have no interest in this thing , they'll sell for a ridiculous price upon release. Like they did with the sledge, paid 800$ for that damn thing n week later it dropped 100$ n i had nothing but issues with it. Junk servo diff problems, issues with the ESC ,I was very disappointed with that truck.
This one's going to be 700.
800-1000 cnd 🤦🏻🤦🏻🤦🏻
Yeah stuff sure is getting expensive these days.
Still better off with the UDR or 6s Mojave. Seems like a nothing burger..
I'm not sure that's a determination we can make until we actually try one of these. It could be really good.
$699.99 No thanks.
Definitely expensive but if it follows the sledge timeline it will come down.
Plastic driveshafts with a 6s , seriously 😐 70 mph sct without parachuting I gota see this 😳
I think the plastic drive shaft will be okay especially given the relatively narrow tires but yes 70 mph on an SCT body. Good luck with that :-)
First!
Yep! Thanks for watching :-)
Kinda lame to make it 1/8 instead of normal 1/10...
I don't think this is really designed to be a standard racing 1/10 short course truck. I believe this is going to be directly designed to compete with the Arma Mojave.
Looks 1/8
It might be. It's hard to tell. It's a tiny bit smaller than the UDR but who knows what scale they will call it as Traxxas is pretty random with their scaling
Traxxas.... Meh!
Yeah some people like them some people don't.
It will be over priced like a few other Traxxas vehicles
We shall see!
This is probably the toughest Traxxas yet, perhaps the toughest RC of all time.
It's possible. The max platform is one of the strongest out of the box platforms ever and short course trucks inherently are durable so it could be a pretty formidable combination.
Can't adjust the body with the stupid clipless body mounts and ugly paint jobs lol
True about not being able to adjust the body but I don't think that many bashers really do that too much anyway and I would prefer clipless over adjustable any day.
I do agree about the paint jobs. I wonder if they're going for a homage to the 3S version since it's such an iconic vehicle. It does look a little dated though.
@DoRC what if you wanna run bigger tires or do a speed runs I prefer the clips lol
@BUILDERPOWER yeah for sure they definitely have their advantages and disadvantages. Personally I probably wouldn't want to put bigger tires on a short course truck because I would just run a truck with bigger tires then but I could definitely see why people would want to have those options.
Overpriced and backordered
Is it out yet?
Looks crap and highly overpriced
Now looks are definitely a subjective thing but price will have to wait on as we don't actually know what it's priced at yet.
@@DoRC oh nah we already know it will well over £600 traxxas overpriced crap
@@qzf809can’t agree more, i like Traxxas, however every time i buy there vehicles, i budget at least $150-200 bucks that i have to do upgrades with, ESC, steering servo, etc. i bet it’s going to be $649 or $699. Which too me it’s kinda expensive, just my 2 cents
Crap, no. Overpriced, hell yeah.
Just like all the rest
It’s a Traxxas, I’ll Pass. No Thank You
Yeah if you don't like Traxxas this probably won't be one for you.
😂 spoken like a 5th grader. Bias for or against any RC brand to “be cooler” is about as cringe as it gets
@@JT-np1opExpressing an opinion isn't cringe.
@@TonytheTiger123saying you pass just because of the brands name is pretty childish though
@@daanzoomer2997nah its not because of the name, its because of the brand
