This video is a collection of some of the small stuff that most people dont show when building/swapping a custom axle. Some of it only applies to certain vehicles, But all of it takes way more time than anyone ever wanted it to. And this isn't even close to all of it.

The paint added 10 horsepower I am sure lol. Love the honesty and down to earth approach. Love the vids man.
At least 8
Good advice on the custom shop for U bolts. Did the same thing on my 8.8 YJ project years ago with a local shop! 👍
Jeeps came a long way man!!
Honestly I haven’t done that much recently besides the axle. I have a lot of stuff planned, a whole lot. Just need time and money!
@@FlawedOffroad same here I have a YJ I’ve been working on for 4 years and I just add upgrades whenever my pocket allows it
Without the small stuff, the big stuff falls apart. Pain in the ass, but its gotta be done.
Yep and sometimes theres an order things should be done in to make them easier such as before the axle is under the jeep. I will be hitting it hard after the Moore expo
Awesome video, great ideas for cleaning and prepping your axle. I didn’t know you liked puddins fab shop too 👌 love the channel man
I'm getting nostalgic watching you do the leaf spring King Pin D60 thing. I built one with the spider gears welded. It was a thing of beauty. Traction over steering any day man. Thanks for the time you put into making something for us to watch.
I just like the old school stuff what can I say. Super duty stuff is cool in its own way but not for what I’m doing
Glamours. 🤪
You going to make any of the stump jumper runs this year? I’m shooting for the next one but I’ve got to get my engine together in the next two weeks
Yeah I just don’t know which ones or how long till I’m ready. I’ve got the jk and the ranger I could mess around with
In addition to the conglomeration, have you had a motivated thought of repowering the yj?
Preciate you sharing Dan!
with a 4.6 stroker yes. Im partial the the 4.0, dont want a v8(in this jeep, but someday, some rig, yeah)
@FlawedOffroad just do me a favor and turbo the stroke lol that'd be nasty.
Check out John Reynolds he has some humor filled fab work. Mostly tedious but he always finds a way, Definitely a top notch craftsman, may find a little inspiration.
@@TheShrewdServant they are cool but I prefer reliable and simple lol.
