check if battery percentage is visible in pc, and let it charge for some hours and see how long you can use it.

I have used targus one too. Its similar to HP, very less difference.
But switching between devices is more easier on HP

Unsure about it but it is quickly pairs again in 1-2 seconds when you press a button, not a major noticeable difference.
