    great review, I wish logitech made that keyboard with 3 or 5 wheels along the top, that would be good for scrub, brush size, zoom etc, just of just one

    I use a dedicated keyboard for Flame from Logickeyboard. It was pricey but it's nice to have the printed keycaps, even though every keystroke is pure muscle memory these days! I bought a programmable volume knob off Amazon for around 20 dollars that allows me to jog my frames back and forward. This is great for all the rotoscoping I do on a daily basis.
    Thanks as always for the great videos!

    I've been using Cherry MX Browns for ages now. Tried many others & keep coming back. legendary, fine German engineering. A pound a switch. They just feel right, they last. I was building my own boards but now on pre made builds like Ducky, Varmilo but now Glorious GMMK Pro w/ standalone numpad. 2nd knob & slider, comes in handy. I integrated mine from the gaming side but use what feels right for you & doesn't need to cost a bomb. As for shop sold, I do like Logitech MX or their G series.

    Hello there, I have used MX 3s and it has some mouse bug. I believe that it is related to bluetooth connection with other devices. Is there away I can fix this? I have been researching about it but all solutions did not work for my case. Any advice is appreciated. Thank you!! :)

    MX KEYS is like $120 and the MX Master 3 is $100. The bundle deal is $199. It's a very nice combo, in my opinion. Before that I had the K800 (since 2010) and it took me a few months to get used to the MX KEYS, which is very similar to CRAFT (and I mean a few months of using it like 8 hours a day every day). They feel very very different. I've got two problems with it. No gaps between the F-keys can be a tragedy. Not the best design on this part. And the final problem was the Lock button in the top right corner. Who on Earth would actually wants a freaking Lock button on a keyboard!? Specially in such place where it can be pressed purely by accident. But that's not even the whole problem. It can be programmed to do other stuff, most of which (the stuff that Logitech offers for it to do) is either useless or even more "dangerous" :)) (like "undo" or "redo" or "close window" or "shut down"). It can be turned off though. However, it often forgets that it was reprogrammed and the native Lock function can just randomly backfire when you don't expect it. Well, OK, no keyboard is perfect. But the MX Master 3 is the perfect mouse ;).

    The Logitech Flow function allowing drag-n-dropping files over the air is the unique thing that draws me to the Logitech combo, I can't live without it working on multiple computers

    Surprised you don't use a dedicated premiere pro keyboard which has all the shortcuts colour coded. I use the EditorsKeys Premier Pro backlite keyboard (£109) which is great especially in low light with the key back light and is fairly well built. I use that in combination with the Loupedeck CT (not cheap but worth it) which is infinitely customisable and an amazing asset for Premier Pro editing when you've customised it for your workflow. Also, that is customisable for any application that runs on the PC and comes with basic setup for Photoshop and other programmes as well.

    • @theTechNotice
      @theTechNotice  2 роки тому +2

      Nice, the reason I don't like the 'dedicated' keyboard for Premiere is - it doesn't look good. Why do they have to make such bad design especially when I'm paying £109 for it....

    • @nmatthews73
      @nmatthews73 2 роки тому +1

      @@theTechNotice Yeah they don't look that sleek for sure but for me it's certainly function over form. Where as I certainly find the functionality of the Loupedeck CT fantastic but it does looks great and the build quality is pretty good as well but control surfaces are another question all together but certainly they help productivity in the workflow.

    I use a $20 wireless Labtec Combination Mouse & Key Board I bought from FRY's Electronics 12 years ago. The mouse Died (A ball mechanical) and I replaced it with a $10 Optical mouse. I use it every day. I edit from my Recliner in the Living room with the Key Board in my Lap & mouse on the Arm of the Recliner. It works well for me. My daughter uses her $39 Keyboard 8 to 10 hours per day as a medical Transcriptionist & recently as a CODER. She latterly wears the letters off the KEYS. not worth spending Over $40 bucks because she wares them out.

    The manufacturer positions Logitech keyboard as a premium segment and its price is really high for a membrane keyboard. Good button action. The keyboard is almost silent, which is really not an achievement among membrane keyboards in general. The second plus is tactile feedback. The buttons are easy to press. Now about all the shortcomings - the first of them is software. therefore, it is not clear what advantages of the software are mentioned in the video. It is meager, you essentially cannot change a lot of things in the keyboard settings. It is worth noting the strange smell of plastic from the box. And this keyboard, for its price, has cheap unrefined plastic. And it's strange and not pleasant when you buy a keyboard of the premium segment, as the manufacturer claims.

    My old Rapoo keyboard double-fired or misfired keys enough times to be pretty damn annoying. Real pain in the ass if you're typing code quickly, and just not worth it. Higher end Logitech is top tier, and the freewheel feature toggle on their mouse scrollwheels is absolutely essential for pdf's, documentation sites, etc.

    Will two 83$ kbs last as long as one 175$ kb? This reminds me of the old question: should you buy one $100K car or five $20K cars? As tiresome as it has become, the answer, of course, is it depends. :-)

      I have keyboards that are 30 years old that still work as new. Granted my favorite keyboard is an old dell that I finally replaced with a spare of the same. I had to change it out because the little nubs on the home keys were completely gone.. It is just the positions of the keys and the two usb inputs I like so much, one for usb drive and one for mouse. I guess it is just what I am used to .

      I'd say so. Its a metal construction chicklet keyboard that can pair with up to four items for 70 - 80 bucks, They do offer cheaper keyboards but you're paying extra for this one for less flex etc. When it comes down to it, if you're a content creator than budget does come into play. The question just becomes if its double the price, is the logictech giving you twice the value? not really. Missed space 3 times a day would cost you what, 1 second over the whole day? A cheap amzon one can have a bunch of issues like missing key strokes on a regular basis, every fourth of fifth word having to backspace. I am not a content creator but if i was, id spend my money on camera and microphone over a keyboard. The money saved by buying the rapoo could buy you a really good mic or even a new camera for an added angle in your videos.

      Cool idea, the reason its on the right side is because normally people are right handed and use the shortcut keys like tab to navigate through the document with their left hand. Office workers can spend a long time without touching a mouse.

  • @batvanio

    Both are ugly as hell and suitable only for right-handed people. I don't like the tons of mouse buttons either. 3 are enough. I personally have a decently cheap one (Logitech MK220) that is compact and very convenient for me for games and other things. The only downside is that it works with a receiver, not bluetooth.
