I always use shirt stays as well to keep the shirt tucked before adding a light sweater over the dress shirt. The final layer with the navy sport coat on top of all of that is a clean look no doubt! Good look man loving the earth tones!
I feel stupid just by thinking about trying this style. In my office I only ever wear hoodies, other guys just wear sweaters. Fortunately for me, we don't need to dress up but yeah, gotta start some day... My confidence is too low.
You can make the hoodie look more refined and polished as well if you choose the right fit and fabric. Also, Don’t feel stupid about trying new things. I understand the worry of being called out by your peers for trying something different than your traditional attire so I suggest you first gradually introduce it to your work place like wearing just the sweater over a t-shirt and then eventually over a polo and then a nice collared dress shirt. You can make it casual but slightly elevated while being better dressed than everyone. You may even even be the one to raise the bar and everyone else will follow!
For this look, should you go a size up with the sweater since you’re layering? Or should you just wear your normal sizes for both the sweater and the shirt?
Thank you that's quite the Information I was looking for. I just realized that I'm putting my sweater instinctively, never been taught to me how. Thank you, I had similitudes with an opposite character in the way we were putting our sweaters. I understood that I should know the real way. Is there a military way? Is it different from army to army throughout the world? Are there different techniques throughout the world? Thank you at least I'll have a different manner about my sweaters to differentiate from this "inergumen", you got the "Man Gazet style" congratulations for the of quality of your content. Quick question, can you untuck the caller so that it overlaps the sweater? I always opt to tuck mine in but I'm wondering if it's feasible to untuk it. Or does it look try hard? I understand that anyone can do whatever they like, but I'm curious on what the rule is.
It looks cleaner with having the collar tucked in but if you were to have a shorter collar (example a polo shirt) then it will work since it doesn’t heave any structure like a dress collar shirt does.
Nice video , can you make a video on how to roll shirt sleeves with sweater and look casual ??? I do not see a lot of videos out there on internet , I suggest you make one .. Thanks !
Hey there please do say me that well which type and colour of sweater that goes with every colour of shirt and well i have a whiter skin tone and shall i buy a solid grey sweatshirt?or which colour that goes with every colour of shirt....that is my query is all about.... Much pleasured being to you and hoping for your reply sooner 🙂❤️
Great video - love how you rotate in the circle....it's like you're floating! :)
Woah Thanks Antonio! A total surprise to see you here! 😮

@@AssembledStyle Thank you very much! I appreciate the advice.
Now I can look like Jim Halpert
this just helped me pull my style together THanK you i’ve been looking for a yellow sweater with white collar and some what sleeves THANK YOUUUU 😁👍
Glad it helped, Thank you for watching!
Great ideas and tips as always. Suspenders under a sweater can also give cleaner lines than wearing a belt.
Thanks man and great tip added 👍
Good tip bro and good to see you here too!
For this look, should you go a size up with the sweater since you’re layering? Or should you just wear your normal sizes for both the sweater and the shirt?
I personally stay true to size for both. It’s not like the shirt will be so thick that you would need to size up
Collar wings inside or outside the sweater ? For a button up, the question may be irrelevant, but for some more formal collars, it is.
Definitely inside. Trying to keep them in is the main reason i stick to OCBD.
Always been curious about this, great video!
Glad it was helpful, thanks for watching!

What about a 100% cotton dress shirt? Would it do the trick? Or should I, perhaps, consider something with bits of elastane? Thanks!
It looks better if you do all your buttonss up use a regular crew neck (not a V neck) and wear a solid color tie depending on sweater color
Nice video , can you make a video on how to roll shirt sleeves with sweater and look casual ???
I do not see a lot of videos out there on internet , I suggest you make one .. Thanks !
I’ll add it to the list. Thanks!
A simple trick I personally do for putting on the sweater is hold the shirt sleeves with your thumb
Thanks for your advice❤. And What's the name of taht accesorii you use for neck ?
Million dollar collar. The link is in the description.
Can I wear crew neck with a shirt or should it only be a v-neck?
Crew neck also works
I'm glad that I found this video and it is straight to the POINT! Thank you!
Glad it was helpful my dude. Thanks for watching
Bro, I didn't know that you made this video. This was great man.
Yea me either bruh! Lol thanks man
Nicely done, bro.
Thanks bro!

I suggest start off with a navy colored
@@AssembledStyle hey there young manh i just can't thank enough but is navy is okay and does it go with black and yellow shirt?
I suggest going with gray if you were to go black
@@AssembledStyle Thanks for your patience sir..but for a time please do say me that well can i match gray with all...?
Yes
is it ok to open the collar over the sweatshirt?
Tucked inside collar looks much Rudy compared to having the collars flap flat over the collar
*tidy not Rudy
@@AssembledStyle you can edit comments
Could you wear a long sleeve polo shirt and a sweater instead of a dress shirt
I suggest you just stick with the polo
If I’m doing this combo, should my sweater be one size larger or my standard size?
I personally wouldn’t. It also depends how you want the sweater to fit. Do you want it slim, fitted or slightly loose?
@@AssembledStyle I most likely would do fitted.
Loved the video man changing it up!
Thanks man! Happy how this turned out
Would this be appropriate for court ?
I personally would suggest a suit but this is acceptable in a small courts claim or civil suit
@@AssembledStyle yeah it’s district court for a misdemeanor
@@pachoescobar6608 Throw in a tie under it. try to look presentable as possible.
Can I wear this to my graduation?
I suggest skipping the sweater and stay with a dress shirt and tie
How can I do this if my dress shirt makes me look baggy ? I am skinny and even XXS is too baggy for me....
Get it tailored.
@@AssembledStyle It doesnt exist where i live
@@MysteriousBeingOfLight where you live? I’m sure there is a seamstress or someone that can alter clothing
Just buy a smaller shirt.
If your shirt collar looks awful under a sweater just button it and wear a tie underneath as a quick fix.
Since my time in the Marine Corps, I usually wear shirt stays with my shirts.
when did they call it Performance shirt?????
Thank you for your service.
Thank you for watching 🙏🏻
Can anyone tell me what colour that sweater is?
Camel
Isko kehte kya hai...shirt pr pehna hai woh?
can I add a tie into this fit or is it too much?
You can definitely add a tie 👍
Thanks for calling me handsome man
😉
I really dislike how buttons on shirt go all the way down these days. Looks lame and the buttons get stuck in the trouser.
Woomp woomp woomp. Great failure music. Good vid.
Bless you, I'm almost late😇
Oh I see, you put the shirt before putting the shirt so you can go, genius!
*sweater
A sweater comes with fake collar attached to it
whats tha name of tha sweater
That’s tacky. Don’t go that
Yall its not that hard 💀
why would you wear a sweater over a shirt. I know it's a look but I dont get it.
It looks good, and in fall and winter it's very good
Shirt stays? I never heard of before this.
Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior ✝️❤️
Amen brother
Nah. Bill gates ruined this drip.
Lol nah don’t let him influence you from trying this out
A million dollar collar is cheap Lol 😂
Cheap but effective
