I like the pole mount coming off the truss. never seen that!
Awesome gig log dude , i am looking into them lights , not bad for the price , thanks for sharing a new brand , the ones everyone uses are like so getting expensive and this looks like a great company .. keep them coming ...greetings from Berwyn il ...
I use the lights from sheds
great setup loved the moving heads congrats
I’m a EV & QSC speaker guy!!
Get yourself the Wolfmix wmx1 for those lights very simple to use
my dad was dj and a person and the guy was talking and some woman fell into his table you know the kind the long tables
drunk and knocked all his gear on the floor , how do you keep drunk peeps away from your table
I'm debating going the Chauvet route for movers. I was thinking of the 360X or 375X but that's a minimum of $2300 for the pair with a case. I can go off brand and get it from $800 - $1200 for the same. My issue is quality. I don't want a book case / paper weight with no support several years from now.
I have a set of the 360 axes. And I love them. I will be doing a full review on them very soon
Lights look pretty good, but if you're having 150-200 people next time might want to gaff tape down cables and get plates on the movers.. could be a problem.
They told me that they generally average 120 kids. We haven't even hardly broken 65 kids The last 3 events so I just don't think kids are interested in this kind of event anymore.
When are you going to use your DJ controller?
When I'm ready to I don't have anyone to teach me how
Sweet set up!
Silly question. Is auto mode "also" sound active? Does it move to the beat, but in a prepared scene?
I don't understand the difference between auto and sound active.
Thanks for any answers.
im going to be making a video about this soon
@DJFIRE2020 awesome! I'll be waiting. Thanks 😊
Where did you get your trusses?
On ebay it's cedarslink
How much money did you invest on this setup I bet you it look you a long time
I would stress that when you have that many lights pointing AT the dancefloor, to program or point the lights up at the ceiling. No one likes to have bright lights pointed straight at their face for most of the event. Also, I understand the desire to show off what you have, but for that size room, the movers were a bit overkill when you had the lights up top and the vertical bars. Other than that, great log and thanks for sharing. Maybe next time, put yourself in a guests shoes and see what they see and gauge what you brought from their POV. Others have mentioned cable mgmt so I won't.
The only reason why I had those movers there was to demonstrate them for the product review that I was doing for sheds or I probably wouldn't have brought them. They always like very equipment. Showed at an event to show people what they look like. So this was the only event during that time frame that I was doing so. That's why the movers were there and yes, I have been working on my cable management.
There’s a lot we need to fix here lol.
Like ?
@@DJFIRE2020 baseplates for one, I’m sure the movers are heavy but I’d at least put those smaller base plates under them. Then bigger ones for the truss, especially with the speakers mounted to the side - sketchy weight distro
And YES, get software for DMX
Speakers aren’t level, and get rid of the JBLs also.
Cable management is better, but they make truss colored tape to use
@@DJSolstice As soon as I saw those speakers hanging on the side, I thought "I hope he has big base plates" or something holding the truss together (like a crossbar), but nope. Thank goodness they are light speakers. If you get some RCF's, please don't mount them like that. We don't want anybody getting hurt or speakers crashing to the ground. Stay safe everybody.
