- Its amazing what you see on local roads over the space of 5000miles/1year.
Not pretending to be perfect, but sometimes making people aware your there is a much better eyeopener if done safely.
I am from the States, and other than being on the other side of the road, it could be video of our drivers. Evidently none of us are training drivers very well. But the real enjoyment of the video for me was the scenery. The buildings and the land and plant life around the traffic ways I enjoyed. Will probably never get across the "pond", so you were my travel agent. Thanks again, and greatings from the "States"!

A dashcam can save you a lot of money and make you a lot of money by putting the footage on youtube. Worth it.

At the 0:59 the car is on the roundabout before you, you should be giving way to all traffic already on the roundabout.
That was the line the bus was going to take - you should have been aware of that and held back…

I'm so glad this happens all over. Recently I've seen similar incidents and will be buying a dash cam very soon. From people pulling out in front to pedestrians just stepping out it's ridiculous!

From Saxilby. Nice to see some local roads. My mate`s chicken farm is on there with the wind turbine.
Drive around Small Heath in Birmingham you will see all that at least 6 times a day, driving through red lights, cutting lanes when coming out of a side road, no signalling, driving on the right hand side of the road to overtake, parking on corners causing blindspots.

The speed they both were driving at would have increased the force of the balloon hitting. Gives it the potential to crack the windscreen.

I guess it was less about the windscreen possibly being broken, more about obstructing the driver's vision. But I agree, I think everyone went a bit overboard on this one.
So they were like “ooh look that guy who does videos is 20 metres in front and coming towards us, let’s fill up this water ballon and throw it out the window and over the car at him” in less than a second

I did 15000 miles in 2017, only passed in march last year, I haven't seen half as many idiots as you have, then again most of the time I ignore them.This video alone made me decide to buy a dash cam though.

Good video, some selfish people making silly comments, the worse one being the ones not giving way to a bus making a tight right turn ….. come on guys read the road and give em some space, probably like a lot of youngsters who don’t read the road and don’t let buses out from bus stops 😮

Buses do need that amount of space, i always leave plenty of room if i see a bus turning.

The overtake where the Audi almost side slams him. I don't see why people are saying that the uploader was in the wrong. I mean the Audi indicated and then not even 2/3 seconds later manuevered. No way in hell he actually checked all his mirrors.
Just timed it. 2 seconds from indicator coming on to Audi pulling out for overtake, no way he checked his mirrors
The biggest crime here is that you were listening to Nickelback.
The best thing to do when a twat pulls out in front of you, is to continue at the same speed. Try to get as close as you can to the offending driver, curse his stupidity, then brake sharply and sound your horn. (The alternative is to play 'spot the twat', and slow down before a situation develops that you might not be able to avoid.)
Why don't they change the law so that when someone is given a driving licence, the details of the instructor who passed them is included on it? Too many people are given licences who just shouldn't have them, and I think it would be a good idea to make the people who issued those licences accountable.

Great clips here. I have two dash cams facing front and rear. As I live in the country I don’t get too many idiots. However I do drive into London and have some piece of mind. Great to know the police will use the footage.

How are these small roundabouts even supposed to work? People always just seem to drive over the middle and get annoyed at the person coming from the left. Are they not supposed to go *around* the roundabout?
That country lane incident infuriates me because we get that a lot around where I live, where drivers do not know the speed limit and frustrate those behind them. In my case, it's usually the elderly as we live in a rural area with lots of elderly people around. Nevertheless, an accident waiting to happen.

people pulling out without checking mirrors and blind spot is my main concern riding on the road. unwillingness to overtake winds people up so much. ok, so there's really no rush but some people have no concept of moving to the speed of the road at all. stay safe

Oh dear, here we ago again - the I am better than thou brigade. Please remember three things, the speed limit is the maximum not the required speed, no driver ever has 'right of way' only priority and the law is contained within the road traffic act not the highway code which is only advisory.
