This was GREAT! I actually threw my pot away and then pulled it out of the garbage to give this a try and it was so easy and worked so well --- thank you!!!!
I burnt my favorite lil pot. I cried because I though I have to throw it away, because soaking wasnt working! Then I found your video. I am always sceptical at first. I boiled mine for 10 minutes on high and 20 more on low! The pot is shiny , as its brand new, even the old staining is gone with the burnt! WOW ! WOW ! Thanks for the video!
Worked like a gem. I did not have bicarbonate, or detergent, but I had diah washer pods and washing machine pods. Cut them up and used them... I did not even need 15 minutes or to scrape it, the stuff just poured out with the water. Thank you.
This is just brilliant. I'm an overseas student and accidentally burnt my milk pot. This video helped me to get it cleaned in just 5 mins. Thankyou for this hack :)
Worked perfectly! In fact, my pot is cleaner than what it was before food got burnt on it last, which means this method took off much older marks as well. Thank you so much! Cheers!
Wow! I will try it definitely ....so many children will be saved from their parents after watching this video 😀👍.....kash mujhe apne childhood me ye pata hota ❤️😂
🤣I too used to burn pots immediately after marriage, because I didn't know how to cook🤣🤣🤣, poor me😄, but then learned this trick, it's been 9 years now that I don't struggle to clean them😇
Thank you so much! This worked for me! Normally soaking it in vinegar works for me too, but it didn't remove any of the deep burns on the pot. Just the light burns.

@@TipsyPixie-PoonamRawat278 Yes it did, thanks!!! I thought it was impossible as the burnt was really dry and made almost part of the pot, but I did the steps 3 times and the pot is saved 😁
This can work on lightly burnt utensils, add half a cup of borax into a deep large pan or sink of hot water, Soak your burnt pan in that solution for a few minutes and wipe.
I’ve unfortunately cooked chicken wings with a sauce being lazy forgot to line the baking tin which really is for cakes etc.. Now burnt to a smithering!! Very sad I’ve tried the boiling water with baking soda hasn’t worked. I might have to throw it away!!
It didn’t work for me. I found a cute little stainless steel pot on eBay that was badly burnt inside, and thinking I could use this method to clean it, I took a chance and bought it. I followed your directions exactly..but despite LOTS of hard scrubbing and scraping, only a tiny bit came off. IT IS STILL BADLY CRUSTED AND BURNT INSIDE. I will try again, but am afraid I wasted my money.
If the pot is not cleaned immediately after burning, it becomes very difficult to remove the burnt part because it remains dry for many days, Once you boil water and soda in the pot, let it soak for a few hours, hopefully this works and you don't have to throw it away .
Just use Easy-Off and dishwashing liquid. Use gloves to protect your hand. Mix the 2 items together in hot tap water, pure into the pan and let it sit for 30 mins. DONE!

Lol I’m in the same boat

And you did amazing job
Hope that works with electric stoves
Will this help if you burn the bottom of the pot?
I am sure it can, Soak that burnt-bottomed pan in another pan with a solution of soda and water, and let it boil for a while.
Saved me was going to throw mine away one of an expensive set thank you
Glad that it helped you 😊🙏
Thank you!!! I forgot to put it on low when cooking rice pilaf. My dumbass 😂
Will this work with a Crock-Pot?

Will borax work aswell?
This can work on lightly burnt utensils, add half a cup of borax into a deep large pan or sink of hot water, Soak your burnt pan in that solution for a few minutes and wipe.

Is this applicable on Nonstick pan?
Yes it is, just don't use scrubber use sponge instead🙂
